A series of adsorbent materials(WPU-HAx-y)with a three-dimensional porous structure,green sustainability,and excellent performance were prepared and evaluated for the removal of methylene blue using nontoxic and environmentally friendly waterborne polyurethane as the matrix material and humic acid,a biomass material,as the functional material.The newly synthesized adsorbents were characterized by infrared spectroscopy,scanning electron microscopy,specific surface area,and thermogravimetric.The effects of contact time(0-8 h),starting concentration(10-100 mg·L^(-1)),pH(3-11),solution temperature(30-60℃),and coexisting ions(Ca2+,Na+,K+,Mg2+)on the performance were investigated.Pseudo-first-order,pseudo-second-order,elovich,and intra-particle diffusion models were used to analyze the adsorption kinetics;the Langmuir,Freundlich,Temkin,and Dubin-Radushkovich adsorption isotherms were evaluated;and the adsorption behavior of the adsorbent materials was found to be more appropriate for the pseudo-second-order model for chemical pollutant removal than the Langmuir model,which depends on monolayer adsorption.WPU-HA2-3 stood out with a maximum adsorption capacity of 813.0081 mg·g^(-1) fitted to the pseudo-second-order and 309.2832 mg·g^(-1) fitted to the Langmuir model,showing superior adsorption performance and regenerability.

Currently,polymer nanosponges have received extensive attention.However,developing new synthetic techniques for novel nanosponges remains a challenge.Furthermore,to date,composite nanosponge adsorbents based on waterborne polyurethane(WPU)andβ-cyclodextrin(β-CD)have not been reported.Herein,a novel green method,ion condensation method,was developed in this study for the preparation of polymer nanosponge adsorbents for efficient removal of dyes from wastewater.Based on the principle of charge repulsion between nanoparticles to maintain emulsion stability,waterborne polyurethane/β-cyclodextrin composite nanosponges(WPU-x,y)were prepared by coagulating the emulsions synthesized from 2,2-dimethylolpropionic acid,polypropylene glycol and hexamethylene diisocyanate as raw materials in a mixture of hydrochloric acid and anhydrous ethanol.The structure and appearance of WPU-x,y were characterized by attenuated total reflectance Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy,thermal gravimetric analyzer,scanning electron microscope and mercury intrusion porosimetry.The adsorption capacity of WPU-x,y was tested by parameters such as cross-linking degree,β-CD dosage,contact time,initial dye concentration and p H value.The study found that WPU-4,4.62 had the best adsorption effect on methylene blue(MB),the maximum removal rate was 93.42%,and the maximum adsorption capacity was 136.03 mg·g^(-1).Moreover,the Sips isotherm and pseudo-second-order-model were suitable for MB adsorption.Therefore,this study provides some perspectives for the fabrication of nanosponge adsorbents.

古代经典名方是历代医家临床经验的总结,做好古代经典名方中药复方制剂的研究转化,对于中药传承创新发展意义重大。近年中医药在新型冠状病毒肺炎大流行防治过程中的及时性、可及性、可负担性,也凸显了加快古代经典名方新药转化的重要性。古代经典名方中药复方制剂的研发依据是因为其“至今仍广泛应用、疗效确切、具有明显特色与优势”,其安全性和有效性得到长期使用验证,因此与以往的中药复方制剂新药的研发模式、逻辑和技术要求存在差异。本文通过对中药复方制剂研发模式的思考,对古代经典名方中药复方制剂的提出与实践、研发审评逻辑与技术要求等进行了分析,并结合研发和审评实际进行了思考和讨论,以期为古代经典名方复方制剂研发提供参考。

＜Abstract＞The objective of this study was to develop a pH-responsive controlled- release system with fast responsivity for drug delivery. The system was designed with a pH-responsive gating membrane and a pH-responsive crosslinked hydrogel, in which the phase transition characteristics of the membrane gates and the crosslinked hydrogel were just opposite. A series of pH-responsive gating membranes were successfully prepared by grafting poly（methacrylic acid）（PMAA） onto porous polyvinylidene fluoride（PVDF） substrate membranes with plasmainduced pore-filling polymerization, and the microstructure of the PMAA-g-PVDF membranes were investigated systematically by employing SEM, XPS, and water flux experiments. The results showed that, PMAA were grafted uniformly onto membrane surfaces and inside membrane pores. In filtration experiments, when the grafting yield was smaller than 5.98%, the pH-responsivity of the membrane pore size increased with an increase in the grafting yield;however, when the grafting yield was higher than 5.98%, the pH-responsivity of the membrane pore size decreased with an increase in the grafting yield, till equal to 1.0（no gating characteristics existed anymore）. In diffusional permeability experiments, when the grafting yield was smaller than 15.65%, the diffusion coefficients of VB12 through the PMAA-g-PVDF membranes in solutions with pH=2 were always larger than those with pH=7. With increasing the grafting yield of PMAA, the difference between the diffusion coefficients with pH=2 and pH=7 became larger. The results indicated that the range of grafting yield for optimal gate performance was different when the gating membrane was used for different purposes. Poly（N,N-Dimethylaminoethyl methacrylate）（PDM） hydrogels were prepared by introducing free radical polymerization. SEM images of hydrogels showed that the dry hydrogels prepared by freeze-dried method were featured with three- dimensional porous network structure, whereas those prepared by ordinary vacuum-dried method were featured with

In order to study the temperature distribution and the corresponding temperature effects on pre-stressed concrete（PC） curved box girder bridge in Shandong Province, this paper builds and adopts an automatic remote real-time temperature collection system to collect temperature data on site, and further uses the software ANSYS for analysis. Based on the comparisons between the measured data and the simulation results, the following conclusions can be drawn： 1 Our temperature monitoring system is reliable; 2 The corresponding measured data of the web plate and flange plate exposed to the sun, vary more severely than that at other positions, so these plates need higher standard design and construction requirements; 3 In the cold wave where still is sunshine, the box girder temperature effect behaves as sine-like curve.

In flat jet electrochemical milling, the electrolyte forms a backward parallel flow after impacting the workpiece, resulting in a weak current density distribution on the workpiece. Poor surface quality usually occurs on the machined titanium alloy surface because it inevitably suffers from the weak current density. In this study, a method of flat jet electrochemical milling with tailoring the backward parallel flow was proposed to eliminate the negative effects caused by the weak current density. Multiphysics simulations are carried out to comprehend the mechanism of flat jetEC milling with tailoring backward parallel flow and better construct the novel tool electrode.Experiments on flat jet electrochemical milling of TC4 alloy with and without tailoring backward parallel flow are conducted. The results reveal that, compared with flat jet electrochemical milling without tailoring backward parallel flow, the recommended tool reduces the surface roughness by86% to 93%, and improves the material removal rate by 93% to 163% with different feed rates.Additionally, the recommended tool is more conducive to maintaining the inherent hardness of the material. Finally, a surface with low Sa of 0.37 μm is obtained.

The mission of“Establishment of Zero-Pollution Earth”defined by United Nations Environment Programme aims at creation of a clean,safe and prosperous home for all human beings.It is of rational choice from each individual to protect our environment and demonstrates our great ambition to achieve our goals.The key message given in this article is that,zero pollution does not mean no discharge of pollutants and instead it can be achievable through optimizing and controlling a sound balance between pollutants discharge and capacities of decontamination through treatment and natural environmental accumulation,which can be termed as“Principle of Equilibrium”between pollution and decontamination.Based on this principle,we propose and illustrate several key factors and synergistic pathways toward a pollution-free planet:quantitative determination on purification and wastewater;source control through green measures;minimization of negative side-effects;precise management through digitalized systems;and keeping sound balance between pollutants and natural purification.It should be noted that we would face a series of difficulties and challenges in moving forward to“Zero-Pollution Earth”.We should further develop theories,principles and tools to achieve the balance between quantity of pollutants and decontamination capacities.Environmentalists should work together to break through the bottleneck limited by“Principle of equilibrium”to establish new environmental remediation systems leading to“Zero-Pollution Earth”.

Physiological and psychological responses to tended plant communities with varying color characteristics

Exposure to plants has been reported to promote health and reduce stress,and plant color has direct impacts on physical and mental health.We used images of common types of tended plant communities in Shenyang,China,with combinations of yellow,green,and red foliage,as experimental stimuli.A total of 27 images were used as visual stimuli.We used electroencephalography to measureαwave activity(8-13 Hz)in 40 subjects while they viewed visual stimuli.These data were combined with subjective questionnaire data to analyze the relaxing effect of images of tended plant communities with different color types and proportions on people.The results revealed that,although there were slight differences between the electroencephalography and psychological findings,women were significantly more relaxed than men after viewing the images.Physiological and psychological responses varied with the types and proportions of colors in the tended plant communities:those of foliage with combinations of two or three colors induced stronger responses than images with a single color.Specifically,(1)for one-color plant communities,green or yellow plant communities induced a stronger relaxation effect than red plant communities;(2)for two-color plant communities,the optimal color proportion was 55%+45%,and the green+yellow and green+red color combinations induced a stronger relaxation effect;(3)for three-color plant communities,the relaxation effect was strongest when the color proportion was 55%green+25%yellow+20%red.These data would provide a plant color matching in future plant landscape design,which may be helpful for creating healthy and relaxing environments.

The Chinese express delivery industry processes nearly 110 billion items in 2022,averaging an annual growth rate of 200%.Among the various types of sorting systems used for handling express items,cross-belt sorting systems stand out as the most crucial.However,despite their high degree of automation,the workload for operators has intensified owing to the surging volume of express items.In the era of Industry 5.0,it is imperative to adopt new technologies that not only enhance worker welfare but also improve the efficiency of cross-belt systems.Striking a balance between efficiency in handling express items and operator well-being is challenging.Digital twin technology offers a promising solution in this respect.A realization method of a human-machine integrated digital twin is proposed in this study,enabling the interaction of biological human bodies,virtual human bodies,virtual equipment,and logistics equipment in a closed loop,thus setting an operating framework.Key technologies in the proposed framework include a collection of heterogeneous data from multiple sources,construction of the relationship between operator fatigue and operation efficiency based on physiological measurements,virtual model construction,and an online optimization module based on real-time simulation.The feasibility of the proposed method was verified in an express distribution center.
