Edge Engineering of MoS2 Nanoribbons as High Performance Electrode Material for Na-ion Battery： A First-Principle Study

Substantial effort has been made to search for electrode materials of Na-ion batteries with high energy/power density. The application of S-saturated zigzag MoS2 nanoribbons （MoSzNRs） for Na-ion batteries has been explored through density function theory （DFT）. The theoretical maximum specific capacity reaches 386.4 mAh,g t via dou- ble-side and special edge adsorption mode. The electronic structure reveals that there exists charge transfer between Na and MoS2NRs. The diffusion barrier on MoS2NRs （0.17 eV） is much lower than that of bulk MoS2 （1.15 eV）, indicating an excellent diffusion kinetics, in addition, the S-edge in MoS2NRs plays a key role. Firstly, the Mo edge was half saturated by S, which helps to stabilize the MoS2NRs as well as offer more intercalation sites for Na. On the other hand, Na migrates much faster on the S edge route in MoS2NRs. Our computational results show that S-saturated MoSzNRs exhibit a great potential as electrode materials for Na-ion batteries with high performance.

Anodic Oxidation on Structural Evolution and Tensile Properties of Polyacrylonitrile Based Carbon Fibers with Different Surface Morphology

Polyacrylonitrile （PAN） based carbon fibers with different surface morphology were electrochemically treated in 3 wt% NH4HCO3 aqueous solution with current density up to 3.47 A/m 2 at room temperature, and surface structures, surface morphology and residual mechanical properties were characterized. The crystallite size （La） of carbon fibers would be interrupted due to excessive electrochemical etching, while the crystallite spacing （d（002）） increased as increasing current density. The disordered structures on the surface of carbon fiber with rough surface increased at the initial oxidation stage and then removed by further electrochemical etching, which resulting in continuous increase of the extent of graphitization on the fiber surface. However, the electrochemical etching was beneficial to getting ordered morphology on the surface for carbon fiber with smooth surface, especially when the current density was lower than 1.77 A/m 2 . The tensile strength and tensile modulus could be improved by 17.27% and 5.75%, respectively, and was dependent of surface morphology. The decreasing density of carbon fibers probably resulted from the volume expansion of carbon fibers caused by the abundant oxygen functional groups intercalated between the adjacent graphite layers.

Nanostructured organic tetralithium salts of 2,5-dihydroxyterephthalic acid （Li4C8H2O6） supported on graphene were prepared via a facile recrystallization method. The optimized composite with 75 wt.% Li4C8H2O6 was evaluated as an anode with redox couples of Li4C8H2O6/Li6C8H2O6 and as a cathode with redox couples of Li4C8H2O6/Li2C8H2O6 for Li-ion batteries, exhibiting a high-rate capability （10 C） and long cycling life （1,000 cycles）. Moreover, in an all-organic symmetric Li-ion battery, this dual-function electrode retained capacities of 191 and 121 mA.h·g-1 after 100 and 500 cycles, respectively. Density functional theory calculations indicated the presence of covalent bonds between Li4CsH206 and graphene, which affected both the morphology and electronic structure of the composite. The special nanostructures, high electronic conductivity of graphene, and covalent-bond interaction between Li4C8H2O6 and graphene contributed to the superior electrochemical properties. Our results indicate that the combination of organic salt molecules with graphene is useful for obtaining high-performance organic batteries.

To evaluate the effects of nitrogen(N)and irrigation coupling on the soil N distribution,plant N utilization,and fruit yield of rabbiteye blueberries(Vaccinium virgatum),a field experiment was designed using two factors(water and fertilizer application)with four levels of irrigation and three levels of fertilization,and a *** the different water and fertilizer combinations,N primarily accumulated in the *** and N application within appropriate ranges(pure N≤29 g/plant and irrigation volume≤2.5 L/plant)significantly improved the blueberry fruit *** in water and N within these ranges promoted the effective accumulation of N in various organs and the absorption and utilization of N in the plants,which ultimately promoted blueberry *** increased N application rate,the nitrate N content of the 0–20 cm and 20–50 cm soil layers *** increased irrigation volume,the nitrate N content of the 0–20 cm soil layer decreased,while the nitrate content in the 20–50 cm soil layer *** N and moderate water treatments resulted in high fruit yields and reduced nitrate N retention in the *** these conditions,the economic input-output ratio was high and the soil N accumulation was low,and thus the economic and ecological benefits were maximized.

The major pathologic hallmark of the alcoholic liver disease(ALD)is the representation of chronic alcohol-induced hepatocyte lipid *** study aims to investigate the hepatoprotective role of triterpenoids-enriched extracts from Antrodia cinnamomea mycelia(ACT)in chronic alcohol-induced liver injury mice,establishing in C57BL/6 mice through gradient alcohol feeding for 24 *** longterm alcohol consumption mice,the significantly lost body weight,increased organ indexes,hepatic alanine aminotransferase and aspartate aminotransferase levels were all remissed after 6-week ACT orally administration,showing its hepatoprotective *** suppressed the triglyceride,total cholesterol and low-density lipoprotein levels,and enhanced high-density lipoprotein levels in serum or/and liver of chronic alcohol damaged *** with the pathological observations,ACT displayed an anti-steatosis effects to restrain the progress of *** on proteomic analysis and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay,ACT had been confi rmed to regulate the levels of lipid biogeneration-related factors and depressed the over-accumulation of hepatic reactive oxygen *** to further data,ACT prevented alcoholic liver injury may be associated with mediating lipid metabolism-related to PGC-1αand NF-κB *** summary,ACT protected the body against chronic alcohol ingest induced liver injury through its regulation lipid on metabolism.

Objective: To observe the effects of fuzhengbutu(strengthening antipathogenic qi and tonifying the earth)acupuncture-moxibustion therapy on walking function in the patients with post-stroke ***: A total of 57 patients with hemiplegia after ischemic stroke treated in our hospital from January2018 through to October 2018 were collected as the study objects. According to random number table,they were divided into a treatment group(29 cases) and a control group(28 cases). In the treatment group, the fuzhengbutu acupuncture-moxibustion therapy combined with rehabilitation treatment was adopted. In the control group, the rehabilitation treatment was given. The persistent walking time and pause time in PIERENSTEP gait measurable training and test system as well as the score of Berg balance scale(BBS) were compared between the two ***: In the treatment group, the persistent walking time after treatment 1.47 ±0.28) s was shorter obviously versus before treatment(2.12 ± 0.38)s, indicating the significant difference(P 0.05). In the control group,the persistent walking time after treatment(1.88 ± 0.22) s was shorter obviously versus before treatment(2.18 ± 0.30)s, indicating the significant difference(P 0.05). Before treatment, the differences were not significant in the persistent walking time and pause duration in the patients of either group(P>0.05). After treatment, the persistent walking time in the treatment group was shorter obviously than the control group(P0.05). Before treatment, there was no difference in BBS score between the two groups(P>0.05).
