Chemical Diversity Investigation of Hepatotoxic Pyrrolizidine Alkaloids in Qianliguang(Senecio scandens)and Related Species by UHPLC-QTOF-MS

Objective: Qianliguang(Senecio scandens) is a common Chinese medicinal herb. Qianliguang-containing herbal proprietary products are registered as over-the-counter remedies in China and exported to Western countries. The presence of hepatotoxic pyrrolizidine alkaloids(PAs)has raised concerns about the safety of using Qianliguang and its products. The present study aims at investigation of different types of PAs present in Qianliguang collected from representative locations in ***: In this study, a simple but specific UHPLC-QTOF-MS method for the determination of toxic PAs was developed, based on the characteristic fragment ions specific to different types of PAs. It was successfully applied for the identification and distinguishing of PAs present in Qianliguang and related Senecio species growing in different locations of ***: Significant diversity of the PA types and quantities were revealed among the samples tested. The estimated total amounts of toxic PAs in three of the samples exceed the toxic limits of PA intake restricted by WHO, demonstrating the timely and highly demand for regulating both types and quantities of PAs present in ***: This study provides the methodology for simultaneous identification and quantification of PAs present in herbs without requiring corresponding standards, which could be further used for more systematic investigations of the PA distribution in Qianliguang and other PA-containing herbs.

Trace elements in magmatic and hydrothermal quartz:Implications on the genesis of the Xingluokeng Tungsten Deposit,South China

The Xingluokeng deposit is the largest gran-ite-related tungsten deposit within the Wuyi metallogenic belt in South *** Xingluokeng intrusion primarily consists of porphyritic biotite granite,biotite granite,andfine-grained *** deposit is represented by veinlet-disseminated mineralization with K-feldspathization and biotitization,alongside quartz-vein mineralization with gre-isenization and *** study investigates in-situ analyses of quartz compositions from both the intrusion and hydrothermal veinlets and *** element correlations indicate that trivalent Al^(3+)and Fe^(3+)replace Si^(4+)within the quartz lattice,with monovalent cations(such as Li^(+),Na^(+),and K^(+))primarily serving as charge *** Ge/Al ratios(<0.013)of quartz from granites suggest a mag-matic *** low Al/Ti and Ge/Ti ratios,accompanied by high Ti contents in quartz,suggest that the porphyritic biotite granite and biotite granite are characterized by rela-tively low levels of differentiation and high crystallization *** contrast,thefine-grained granite exhibits a higher degree of fractionation,lower crystallization tem-peratures,and a closer association with tungsten *** contents in quartz from quartz veins indicate Qz-Ⅰformed at temperatures above 400°C,while Qz-Ⅱto Qz-Ⅴformed at temperatures below 350°*** in different generations of quartz,as indicated by Al content and(Al+Fe)/(Li+Na+K)ratio,suggest that Qz-Ⅰprecipi-tated from a less acidicfluid with a stable pH,whereas Qz-Ⅱto Qz-Ⅴoriginated from a more acidicfluid with notable pH ***,alkaline alteration and acidic alteration supplied the essential Ca and Fe for the precipita-tion of scheelite and wolframite,respectively,highlighting a critical mechanism in tungsten mineralization at the Xin-gluokeng deposit.

Development of practical and versatile electrophilic difluoromethylating reagent is still a grand challenge so far due to its inherent instability or low ***,we report the design and synthesis of difluoromethyl phenoxathiinium tetrafluoroborate(PT-CF_(2)H^(+)BF_(4)^(-)) as a novel difluoromethylating reagent,which proves to be a bench-stable,general,powerful and versatile reagent with divergent·CF_(2)H,CF_(2)H^(+),and:CF_(2) *** use of this reagent,we demonstrated a vast array of difluoromethyl radical transfer reactions via diverse pathways involving photocatalyst-free visible-light induction,visible-light photoredox catalysis and visible-light mediation single electron transfer of EDA ***,the green and highly effective CF_(2)H^(+) and:CF_(2) transfer reactions were also readily accomplished.

Spontaneous coronary artery rupture after lung cancer surgery:A case report and review of literature

BACKGROUND Spontaneous coronary artery rupture(SCAR)is a rare and life-threatening complication after lung cancer *** present a case of SCAR following left upper lobectomy,successfully managed through emergency thoracotomy and coronary artery *** SUMMARY A 61-year-old male patient underwent left upper lobectomy and mediastinal lymph node dissection for lung *** surgery was performed using singleport video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery,and there were no observed complications during the ***,19 h after surgery,the patient experienced chest discomfort and subsequently developed severe symptoms,including nausea,vomiting,and a drop in blood *** measures were taken,leading to the diagnosis of *** patient underwent emergency thoracotomy and coronary artery ligation,successfully stopping the bleeding and stabilizing the *** postoperative complications,the patient made a successful recovery and was discharged from the *** SCAR is a rare but life-threatening complication following lung cancer *** thoracotomy has been shown to be a life-saving measure,while stenting is not the preferred initial approach.

Interface interaction between SiO_(2) and magnetite under high temperature:particle migration and inhibition mechanism

Influence of pore structure heterogeneity on channeling channels during hot water flooding in heavy oil reservoir based on CT scanning

Hot water flooding is an effective way to develop heavy oil reservoirs. However, local channeling channels may form, possibly leading to a low thermal utilization efficiency and high water cut in the reservoir. The pore structure heterogeneity is an important factor in forming these channels. This study proposes a method that mixes quartz sand with different particle sizes to prepare weakly heterogeneous and strongly heterogeneous models through which hot water flooding experiments are *** the experiments, computer tomography(CT) scanning identifies the pore structure and micro remaining oil saturation distribution to analyze the influence of the pore structure heterogeneity on the channeling channels. The oil saturation reduction and average pore size are divided into three levels to quantitatively describe the relationship between the channeling channel distribution and pore structure heterogeneity. The zone where oil saturation reduction exceeds 20% is defined as a channeling *** scanning area is divided into 180 equally sized zones based on the CT scanning images, and threedimensional(3D) distributions of the channeling channels are developed. Four micro remaining oil distribution patterns are proposed, and the morphology characteristics of micro remaining oil inside and outside the channeling channels are analyzed. The results show that hot water flooding is more balanced in the weakly heterogeneous model, and the oil saturation decreases by more than 20% in most zones without narrow channeling channels forming. In the strongly heterogeneous model, hot water flooding is unbalanced, and three narrow channeling channels of different lengths form. In the weakly heterogeneous model, the oil saturation reduction is greater in zones with larger pores. The distribution range of the average pore size is larger in the strongly heterogeneous model. The network remaining oil inside the channeling channels is less than outside the channeling channels,
