Ensemble projections of climate and streamflow in a typical basin of semi-arid steppes in Mongolian Plateau of 2021-2100

The Kherlen River is the main water source for Hulun Lake,the largest lake in northern *** to reduced inflow from the Kherlen River,Hulun Lake experienced rapid shrinkage at the beginning of the 21st century,posing a serious threat to the ecological security of northern ***,there is still a significant lack of projections regarding future climate change and its hydrological response in the Kherlen River *** study analyzed the projected climate and streamflow changes in the Kherlen River basin,a vital yet vulnerable international semi-arid steppes type basin.A combination of multi-model ensemble projection techniques,and the soil and water assessment tool(SWAT)model was employed to examine the spatio-temporal changes in precipitation,temperature,streamflow,and the associated uncertainties in the *** temperature(an increase of 1.84-6.42℃)and the precipitation(an increase of 15.0-46.0 mm)of Kherlen River basin are projected to increase by 2100,leading to a rise in streamflow(1.08-4.78 m^(3) s^(-1)).The upstream of the Kherlen River exhibits remarkable increasing trends in precipitation,which has a dominant influence on streamflow of Kherlen *** increases in streamflow are observed in April,August,September,and October compared to the reference period(1971-2000).These findings suggest a partial alleviation of water scarcity in the Kherlen River,but also an increased likelihood of hydrological extreme *** projected temperature increase in the Kherlen River basin exhibits the smallest uncertainty,while more pronounced uncertainties are found in precipitation and *** spread among the results of CMIP6 models is greater than that of CMIP5 models,with lower signal-to-noise ratio(SNR)values for temperature,precipitation,and streamflow.

Background SARS-CoV-2 continues to mutate over time,and reports on children infected with Omicron BA.5 are *** aimed to analyze the specific symptoms of Omicron-infected children and to improve patient *** We selected 315 consecutively hospitalized children with Omicron BA.5 and 16,744 non-Omicron-infected febrile children visiting the fever clinic at our hospital between December 8 and 30,*** convulsions and body temperatures were compared between the two *** analyzed potential associations between convulsions and vaccination,and additionally evaluated the brain damage among severe Omicron-infected *** Convulsion rates(97.5%vs.4.3%,P<0.001)and frequencies(median:2.0 vs.1.6,P<0.001)significantly differed between Omicron-infected and non-Omicron-infected febrile *** body temperatures of Omicron-infected children were significantly higher during convulsions than when they were not convulsing and those of non-Omicron-infected febrile children during convulsions(median:39.5 vs.38.2 and 38.6℃,both P<0.001).In the three Omicron-subgroups,the temperature during convulsions was proportional to the percentage of patients and significantly differed(P<0.001),while not in the three non-Omicron-subgroups(P=0.244).The convulsion frequency was lower in the 55 vaccinated children compared to the 260 non-vaccinated children(average:1.8 vs.2.1,P<0.001).The vaccination dose and convulsion frequency in Omicron-infected children were significantly correlated(P<0.001).Fifteen of the 112 severe Omicron cases had brain *** Omicron-infected children experience higher body temperatures and frequencies during convulsions than those of non-Omicron-infected febrile *** additionally found evidence of brain damage caused by infection with omicron *** and prompt fever reduction may relieve symptoms.

Auroral Kilometric Radiation (AKR) is a common radio emission,which can contribute to the magnetosphere-ionosphereatmosphere co u *** emissions have been observed in all magnetic planet magnetospheres of the solar *** this study,using observations from the FAST satellite from 30 August 1996 to 9 September 2001,the distribution of AKR in altitude=500-4500 km and invariant latitude (|ILAT|)=60°-80°has been analyzed.63045 AKR samples have been identified with~48%(52%) samples on the dayside (nightside).Of considerable interest,there is a distinct MLT asymmetry with the high occurrence rate in MLT=05-08 and 18-22(02-05 and 12-17) in the northern (southern) *** distinct MLT asymmetry is associated with the direction of Bxof the interplaneta ry magnetic *** addition,the occurrence rate on the nightside clearly increases as the AE^(*) index *** study further enriches the information and understanding of AKR in the magnetosphere as well as other similar radio emissions.

针对粗加工过程中铣刀选型的多因素性,在分析机床加工特点的基础上,结合已有刀具选型方法,提出一种基于层次分析的模糊综合评判的方法,构建刀具模糊评判模型。通过综合考虑铣刀选型因素,建立以切削效率、加工时间以及加工成本作为优化目标的铣刀选型模型。结合具体加工实例对以上方法进行验证,表明基于层次分析的模糊综合评判方法在铣刀选型系统中有较好的作用,判断结果能够实现粗铣加工过程中刀具的优选。

Stable copper boron–imidazolate cage as Cu-riched enzyme for highly efficient electrocatalytic CO2 reduction to ethylene

Single-atom catalyst has garnered widespread attention to mimic mature enzymes due to its well-defined atomic structure and coordination environments. However, since the carbon–carbon（C–C） coupling reactions require synergistic catalysis of multiple sites, single-atom catalysts suffer from insufficient active sites and unclear reaction mechanisms. Controlling the reaction intermediates in a precisely targeted pocket through careful metal–organic cage design is therefore crucial. Here, we prepare a tetrahedral [Cu6L4]-type boron–imidazolate cage integrating highly active Cu sites and optimized cavity, which exhibits enzyme like specific catalytic performance in electrochemical CO2reduction reaction（CO2RR） to enhance the selectivity of *** analyses and computational calculations suggest that the single Cu site together with neighboring boron–imidazolate ligands provides suitably synergistic effects that enable the energetically favorable formation of an *COCHO intermediate, a key step determining selectivity. As a result, the [Cu6L4]-type cage of BIC-145 achieves a Faradaic efficiency of 28% for C2H4maintaining an average current density of -3.54 mA cm-2over a 5-hour electrolysis period. This work represents the first example for studying single-metal site catalysts with ultra-low coordination numbers through the rational design of metal–organic cages.

Insights from untargeted metabolomics: revealing potential marker compounds into the maturation of fermented chili

Chili fermentation is one of the most important processes in the production of Pixian Douban (PXDB)， which determines the flavor and product quality of PXDB. However， the maturity of fermented chili mainly depends on empirical judgment， which can not satisfy the need for standardized production of PXDB. Therefore， this study aimed to investigate volatile and non-volatile substances during the maturation process and to find markers related to the maturity of fermented chili. GC×GC-MS combined with multivariate statistical analysis revealed that 2-methoxy-3-isobutyl pyrazine， linalool， 3-(methylthio)propionaldehyde， myrcene， and decanal (ROAV ≥ 1， VIP > 1， P < 0.05) were regarded as potentially active aromatic markers for differentiating fermentation time. Additionally， UPLC-QTOF-MS combined with multivariate statistical analysis resulted that 14 compounds can serve as differentiated non-volatile compounds. The correlation of maturity-related physico-chemical indicators with volatile and non-volatile compounds revealed that three volatile compounds (2-methoxy-3-isobutylpyrazine， linalool， and decanal) along with fructose and adenosine could serve as markers for evaluating the maturity of chili. This study is expected to establish a standard for the determination of maturity the fermented chili and lay the foundation for intelligent production of PXDB.
