Due to the significant impact of carbon dioxide on global ecology,more efforts have been put into the exploration on CO2capture and *** organic framework materials,as a kind of materials with high porosity and designable structure,have been considered as effective host materials for adsorbing carbon dioxide or separating it from other *** review gives a deep insight into the applications of metal-organic frameworks,covalent-organic frameworks,and other porous frameworks on CO2capture,focusing on the enhanced capture performances originated from their high surface area with abundant porous structure,functional groups with specific heteroatoms modification,or other building unit ***,the main challenges associated with porous frameworks for CO2capture and proposed strategies to address these obstacles,including the structural design strategy or the capture mechanism exploration,have been demonstrated and *** review can contribute to further investigation on porous frameworks for gas capture and separation with enhanced performance and efficiency.

Background Systemic lupus erythematosus （SLE） mostly occurred in young women. This study was undertaken to investigate the different clinical characteristics of SLE between male and female patients, and to identify the sex hormone levels and clinical outcomes of different gender in SLE patients. Methods Of the 516 SLE patients admitted to the Peking University People＇s Hospital from January 2008 to December 2010, 58 were male and 458 were female. Clinical manifestations, laboratory profiles and disease activity scores were evaluated in male and female patients. Sex hormones levels were also compared among male patients. Results The median age at SLE onset in male and female patients was 27.2 and 28.6 years, respectively. Compared with female patients, at onset of SLE, male patients showed higher rates of serious renal disease （58.6% vs. 47.2%, P=0.064）, neuropsychiatric SLE （20.7% vs. 12.0%, P=0.055）, and a higher incidence of anti-ds-DNA （25.9% vs. 16.8%, P=0.069）, anti-Sm （17.2% vs. 8.7%, P=0.002）, anti-Ro （46.6% vs. 28.4%, P=0.004）, anti-UIRNP （29.3% vs. 15.3%, P=0.010）, anticardiolipin antibody （25.9% vs. 11.4%, P=0.004）, and decreased C3 levels （67.2% vs. 49.8%, P=-0.009）. Systemic lupus erythematosus disease activity index （SLEdai） scores were higher in men than in women （16.8 vs. 12.8, P=0.038）. Of the 58 male patients, 24 had not received aggressive treatment during the three months prior to the study. Levels of testosterone and dihydroepiandrosterone （DHEA） were lower in male SLE patients than in male healthy controls （P=0.004 and P=0.006, respectively）. Low serum testosterone was an independent risk factor for the development of lupus nephritis （P=-0.043）. Male patients with elevated serum prolactin were at increased risk of developing neuropsychiatric manifestations of SLE （P=0.081）. Conclusion Early recognition of risk factors and appropriate intervention are essential, which might lead to high disease activity and serious systemic damage in male SLE pat

Enhancing homogenization efficiency and hot-workability is the key issue for wrought superalloys in the industry.A novel approach for simultaneous accelerating the homogenization kinetics and improving hot-workability via a simple way of prior hot-deformation was proposed,which was not widely accepted for wrought *** homogenization efficiency is increased by 40%-70%via performing 10%-20%prior *** theoretical and experimental analyses revealed that the increment in homogenization efficiency is mainly attributed to the decrease in interdendritic-segregation spacing,and thus the necessary diffusion distance,rather than that of *** addition,dynamic and static recrystallizations occurred during the prior hot-deformation and diffusion-annealing processes,and the grains were significantly refined even after the ***,the size of the precipitates was refined as *** enhanced the hot-workability of the homogenized ingot for the subsequent cogging process.

Background: Studies have proved LPS preconditioning could induce protection against brain inflammatory injury to a subsequent harmful stimulus. Microglia, a resident immunocompetent and phagocytic cell in the CNS, was hypothesized to be directly involved in the reprogramming cascades that subserve the preconditioned favorable effects within CNS. A potential cellular pathway, PI3K/AKT pathway which was reported to regulate negatively expression of some inflammatory genes previously in a LPS challenge, was also proposed for the active regulation of LPS-primed reactive microglia’s responses to LPS priming. Objective: To determine the responses of microglia to LPS priming in vitro with the inhibition of PI3K/Akt pathways, so that candidate cellular mechanisms involvingthe preconditioned favorable effects to subsequent injurious challenge could be profoundly ***: A low concentration of TLR4 agonsit(LPS) was used to prime the microglia directly in vitro, thereafter, reactions of microglial cells including the induction and activation of some transcript factors, inflammatory cytokines and signaling molecules with the blockade of PI3K/Akt Pathway were investigated during the ***: The results showed some key proinflammatory cytokines including TNF-α, IL-6 from LPS-primed microglia were reduced significantly with the inhibition of PI3K/Akt signal, while the release of HMGB1 to cytoplasm was inclined to decrease when using LY294002. As for NF-κB activation, no great attenuation was found. Additionally, signaling molecules such as TLR4 and SOCS3 were revealed to be engaged in the responses with a down-regulated expression in our experimental ***: With LPS priming, microglia evolved an adjusted cellular responses in vitro, and the PI3K/AKT pathway partially regulated these reactions. The stability of matrix graphite under neutron irradiation and in corrosive environments is crucial for the safe operation of molten salt reactors(MSRs).Raman spectroscopy and a slow positron beam were employed to investigate the effects of He ion irradiation fluences and subsequent annealing on the microstructure and defects of the matrix *** ions with 500 keV energy and fluences ranging from 1.1×10^(15)ions∕cm^(2)to 3.5×10^(17)ions∕cm^(2)were used to simulate neutron irradiation at 300 *** samples with an irradiation fluence of 3.5×10^(16)ions∕cm^(2)were subjected to isochronal annealing at different temperatures(573 K,873 K and 1173 K)for 3 *** Raman results revealed that the D peak gradually increased,whereas the intrinsic G peak decreased with increasing irradiation *** the same irradiation fluence,the D peak gradually decreased,whereas the intrinsic G peak increased with increasing annealing *** positron beam analysis demonstrated that the density or size of irradiation defects(vacancy type)increased with higher irradiation fluence,but decreased rapidly with increasing annealing *** Raman spectral analysis of sample cross sections subjected to high irradiation fluences revealed the emergence of amorphization precisely at the depth where ion damage was most pronounced,whereas the surface retained its crystalline *** and positron annihilation analyses indicated that the matrix graphite exhibited good irradiation resistance to He ions at 300 ***,vacancy-type defects induced by He ion irradiation exhibit poor thermal stability and can be easily removed during annealing.
