Understanding the responses of precipitation extremes to global climate change remains limited owing to their poor representations in models and complicated interactions with multi-scale *** we take the record-breaking precipitation over china in 2.2. as an example,and study its changes under three different climate scenarios through a developed pseudo-global-warming(PGW)experimental framework with 60-3 km variable-resolution global ensemble *** to the present climate,the precipitation extreme under a warmer(cooler)climate increased(decreased)in intensity,coverage,and total amount at a range of 2..3%-37.8%(18.7%-56.1%).With the help of the proposed PGW experimental framework,we further reveal the impacts of the multi-scale system interactions in climate change on the precipitation *** the warmer climate,large-scale water vapor transport converged from double typhoons and the subtropical high marched into central china,enhancing the convective energy and instability on the leading edge of the transport *** a result,the mesoscale convective system(Mcs)that directly contributed to the precipitation extreme became stronger than that in the present *** the contrary,the cooler climate displayed opposite changing characteristics relative to the warmer climate,ranging from the large-scale systems to local environments and to the *** summary,our study provides a promising approach to scientifically assess the response of precipitation extremes to climate change,making it feasible to perform ensemble simulations while investigating the multi-scale system interactions over the globe.

Carbon nitride thin films have been synthesized on polycrystalline Pt substrates using microwave plasma chemical vapor de- position (MPCVD) technique. The N/C atomic ratio is close to the stoichiometric value 1.33 of C_3N_4. The experimental X-ray diffraction spectra contain all the strong peaks of α-C_3N_4 and β -C_3N_4. The films are a mixture of α-C_3N_4 and β -C_3N_4. The observed Raman and FT- IR spectra support the existence of C-N covalent bond in carbon nitride compound. The bulk modulus detected by Nano II nanoindentor is up to 349 GPa.

The interfacial shear property of steel-mushy aluminum bonding plate was studied, and the relationship between aluminum solid fraction and the interfacial shear strength of bonding plate was determined. The results showed that when aluminum solid fraction is 34.3 %, the maximum interfacial shear strength of bonding plate is 71 .0 MPa.

A theoretical model about the secondary deformation is developed by the combination of analytical and experimental approaches. A system simulation based on the model is completed to predict the strip profile after the interstand deformation. On the other hand, comprehensive experiments and quantitative comparisons are made to calibrate the model for a wide variety of products. As a result, the correction of the model has been verified by the actual rolling data from production mill and it is helpful to improve the strip shape control.

Silicon is one of the main gangue components in iron ore,usually in the form of quartz and *** studies have shown that SiO_(2. has a two-sided effect on the consolidation of pellets during high-temperature oxidation roasting of ***,it is very difficult to capture the structural evolution and migration mechanisms during high-tem-perature roasting process by existing experimental ***,the influence of SiO_(2. on the consolidation behavior of magnetite was studied through a series of roasting experiments and molecular dynamic *** results show that the consolidation index and particle growth index decrease with the increase in SiO_(2. content in the *** 1573 K,the liquid phase promotes the recrystallization growth of hematite at high *** dynamic study shows that it is difficult for quartz SiO_(2. to form sintering neck with Fe_(2.O_(3).When the calcination temperature is higher than 1400 K,the Fe_(2.O_(3)-Fe_(2.SiO_(4) system produces a considerable sintering neck structure after *** atomic migration ability of Fe_(2.SiO_(4) is much higher than that of Fe_(2.O_(3).The higher atomic migration ability of Fe_(2.SiO_(4) is the main reason for the formation of the sintering neck.

Composite Braking Control Strategy for Electromechanical-Hydraulic Vehicles

Short driving ranges and low braking energy recovery efficiencies are two recognized technical bottlenecks to be overcome in electric vehicles. In this paper, a novel electromechanical-hydraulic coupling system is proposed and integrated as a powertrain for electric vehicles, which can assist the electric vehicle to fully utilize its braking energy. The hydraulic regenerative braking force and electric regenerative braking force can provide all the braking needs using the medium and small braking intensities. Furthermore, an improved compound brake control strategy based on the braking force distribution is proposed and simulated. The results show that under the premise of ensuring braking stability, the electromechanical-hydraulic coupling driving electric vehicle can adapt to various working conditions with excellent energy-saving results. The hydraulic accumulator recovery efficiency is above 99%, and the state of charge consumption rate of the battery pack can be reduced by more than 9%. More importantly, the proposed hybrid power system can significantly improve the driving range and energy efficiency, as well as reduce the consumers' mileage anxiety in electric vehicles.

The Xingluokeng deposit is the largest gran-ite-related tungsten deposit within the Wuyi metallogenic belt in South *** Xingluokeng intrusion primarily consists of porphyritic biotite granite,biotite granite,andfine-grained *** deposit is represented by veinlet-disseminated mineralization with K-feldspathization and biotitization,alongside quartz-vein mineralization with gre-isenization and *** study investigates in-situ analyses of quartz compositions from both the intrusion and hydrothermal veinlets and *** element correlations indicate that trivalent Al^(3+)and Fe^(3+)replace Si^(4+)within the quartz lattice,with monovalent cations(such as Li^(+),Na^(+),and K^(+))primarily serving as charge *** Ge/Al ratios(<0.013)of quartz from granites suggest a mag-matic *** low Al/Ti and Ge/Ti ratios,accompanied by high Ti contents in quartz,suggest that the porphyritic biotite granite and biotite granite are characterized by rela-tively low levels of differentiation and high crystallization *** contrast,thefine-grained granite exhibits a higher degree of fractionation,lower crystallization tem-peratures,and a closer association with tungsten *** contents in quartz from quartz veins indicate Qz-Ⅰformed at temperatures above 400°C,while Qz-Ⅱto Qz-Ⅴformed at temperatures below 350°*** in different generations of quartz,as indicated by Al content and(Al+Fe)/(Li+Na+K)ratio,suggest that Qz-Ⅰprecipi-tated from a less acidicfluid with a stable pH,whereas Qz-Ⅱto Qz-Ⅴoriginated from a more acidicfluid with notable pH ***,alkaline alteration and acidic alteration supplied the essential Ca and Fe for the precipita-tion of scheelite and wolframite,respectively,highlighting a critical mechanism in tungsten mineralization at the Xin-gluokeng deposit.

The long chain branching(LCB)polyglycolide(PGA)was successfully prepared by the successive reactions of the terminal hydroxyl groups of PGA with triglycidyl isocyanurate(TGIC)and pyromellitic dianhydride(PMDA).The influence of LCB produced by functional group reaction on rheological and crystallization behavior was studied and discussed through linear rheology,uniaxial elongation and DSC(differential scanning calorimetry).The much higher viscosity and the more notable strain hardening behavior of modified PGA indicates the LCB with high degree of entanglements are *** melt strength of PGA is finally improved greatly and can make su re that the supercritical CO_(2.foaming can be carried out successfully.
