Components of Ti and Al dissimilar alloys were obtained by wire and arc additive manufacturing using two cold metal transfer(CMT)*** current CMT(DC-CMT)mode was used for Ti alloy deposition,and DC-CMT or CMT plus pulse(CMT+P)mode was used for the Al alloy *** deposition of the first Al alloy layer,little and a significant amount of Ti alloy were melted using DC-CMT and CMT+P mode,***_(3)formed in the reaction layer when DC-CMT mode was used,while TiAl_(3),TiAl,and Ti3Al formed in the reaction layer when CMT+P mode was *** to using DC-CMT mode,more cracks occurred when using CMT+*** nanohardness of the reaction layer was between that of the Al and Ti alloys,irrespective of the CMT *** average tensile strengths of the samples using DC-CMT and CMT+P mode were 108 MPa and 24 MPa,***-CMT mode was more suitable for the wire and arc additive manufacturing of Ti/Al dissimilar alloys.

The formation mechanism for the body-centred regular tetrahedral structure of Li5 cluster is proposed. The curve of the total energy versus the separation R between the nucleus at the centre and nuclei at the apexes for this structure of Li5 has been calculated by using the method of gou＇s modified arrangement channel quantum mechanics （MACQM）, The result shows that the curve has a minimal energy of-37.2562 a.u. at R =14.5α0. When R approaches infinity the total energy of five lithium atoms has the value of-37.1401 a.u. So the binding energy of Li5 with respect to five lithium atoms is the difference of 0.1161 a.u. for the above two energy values. Therefore the binding energy per atom for Li5 is 0.023 22 a.u., or 0.632 eV, which is greater than the binding energy per atom of 0.453 eV for Li2 and the binding energy per atom of 0.494 eV for Li3 calculated previously by us. This means that the Li3 cluster may be formed stably in a body-centred regular tetrahedral structure with a greater binding energy.

Silica-based anode is widely employed for high energy density Li-ion batteries owing to their high theoretical specific capacity(4200 m A h g-1).However,it is always accompanied by a huge volume expansion(300%)and shrinks during the lithiation/delithiation process,further leading to low cycle *** to mitigate the adverse effects caused by volume expansion such as robust binder matrix,Coreshell structure,etc.,inevitably affect the electronic conductivity within the ***,a high conductivity and elasticity Si anode(Ni-P-SBR(styrene-butadiene rubber)@Si)was designed and fabricated via the Ni-P-SBR composite-electroless-plating *** this design,the Si particles are surrounded by SBR polymer and Ni particles,where the SBR can adapt to the volume change and Ni particles can provide the electrode with high electronic ***,the Ni-P-SBR@Si delivers a high initial capacity of 3470 m A h g-1and presents capacity retention of 49.4%within 200 cycles at 600 m A ***,a high capacity of 1153 m A h g-1can be achieved at 2000 m A g-1and can be cycled stably under bending *** strategy provides feasible ideas to solve the key issues that limit the practical application of Si anodes.

Background:Delayed gastric emptying(DGE)is the main complication after pancreaticoduodenectomy(PD),but the mechanism is still *** aim of this study was to elucidate the role of complete resection of the gastric antrum in decreasing incidence and severity of DGE after ***:Sprague-Dawley rats were divided into three groups:expanded resection(ER group),complete resection(CR group),and incomplete resection(IR group)of the gastric *** tension(g)of remnant stomach contraction was *** analyzed the histological morphology of the gastric wall by different excisional methods after distal ***,patients underwent PD at our department between January 2012 and May 2016 were included in the *** cases were divided into IR group and CR group of the gastric antrum,and the clinical data were retrospectively ***:The ex vivo remnant stomachs of CR group exhibited much greater contraction tension than others(P<0.05).The contraction tension of the remnant stomach increased with increasing acetylcholine concentration,while remained stable at the concentration of 10×10^(-5 )mol/***,174 consecutive patients were included and retrospectively analyzed in the *** incidence of DGE was significantly lower(3.5%vs.21.3%,P<0.01)in CR group than in IR *** addition,hematoxylin-eosin staining analyses of the gastric wall confirmed that the number of transected circular smooth muscle bundles were higher in IR group than in CR group(8.24±0.65 vs.3.76±0.70,P<0.05).Conclusions:The complete resection of the gastric antrum is associated with decreased incidence and severity of DGE after *** electrophysiological and physiopathological disorders caused by damage to gastric smooth muscles might be the mechanism underlying DGE.

BACKGROUND Urinary sepsis is frequently seen in patients with diabetes mellitus(DM)complicated with upper urinary tract calculi(UUTCs).Currently,the known risk factors of urinary sepsis are not *** To analyze the risk factors of concurrent urinary sepsis in patients with DM complicated with UUTCs by logistic *** We retrospectively analyzed 384 patients with DM complicated with UUTCs treated in People’s Hospital of Jincheng between February 2018 and May *** patients were screened according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria,and 204 patients were *** patients were assigned to an occurrence group(n=78)and a nonoccurrence group(n=126).Logistic regression was adopted to analyze the risk factors for urinary sepsis,and a risk prediction model was *** Gender,age,history of lumbago and abdominal pain,operation time,urine leukocytes(U-LEU)and urine glucose(U-GLU)were independent risk factors for patients with concurrent urinary sepsis(P<0.05).Risk score=0.794×gender+0.941×age+0.901×history of lumbago and abdominal pain-1.071×operation time+1.972×U-LEU+1.541×*** occurrence group had notably higher risk scores than the nonoccurrence group(P<0.0001).The area under the curve of risk score for forecasting concurrent urinary sepsis in patients was 0.801,with specificity of 73.07%,sensitivity of 79.36%and Youden index of 52.44%.CONCLUSION Sex,age,history of lumbar and abdominal pain,operation time,ULEU and UGLU are independent risk factors for urogenic sepsis in diabetic patients with UUTC.

Creating and manipulating multiple charge states of solitary defects in semiconductors is of essential importance for solitary defect electronics,but is fundamentally limited by Coulomb’s *** this objective is challenging,due to the conflicting requirements of the localization necessary for the sizable band gap and delocalization necessary for a low charging ***,using scanning tunneling microscopy/spectroscopy experiments and first-principles calculations,we realized exotic quinary charge states of solitary defects in two-dimensional intermetallic semiconductor *** also observed an ultralow defect charging energy that increases sublinearly with charge number rather than displaying the usual quadratic *** work suggests a promising route for constructing multiple defect-charge states by designing intermetallic semiconductors,and opens new opportunities for developing quantum devices with charge-based quantum states.

We report the successful preparation of a purely honeycomb,graphene-like borophene,by using an Al(11 1) surface as the substrate and molecular beam epitaxy(MBE) growth in ultrahigh *** tunneling microscopy(STM) images reveal perfect monolayer borophene with planar,non-buckled honeycomb lattice similar as *** calculations show that the honeycomb borophene on Al(1 1 1) is energetically ***,nearly one electron charge is transferred to each boron atom from the Al(1 1 1) substrate and stabilizes the honeycomb borophene structure,in contrast to the negligible charge transfer in case of borophene/Ag(1 1 1).The existence of honeycomb 2 D allotrope is important to the basic understanding of boron chemistry,and it also provides an ideal platform for fabricating boron-based materials with intriguing electronic properties such as Dirac states.
