Vulnerability assessment of coastal wetlands in Minjiang River Estuary based on cloud model under sea level rise

The change of coastal wetland vulnerability affects the ecological environment and the economic development of the estuary *** the past,most of the assessment studies on the vulnerability of coastal ecosystems stayed in static qualitative research,lacking predictability,and the qualitative and quantitative relationship was not objective *** this study,the“Source-Pathway-Receptor-Consequence”model and the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change vulnerability definition were used to analyze the main impact of sea level rise caused by climate change on coastal wetland ecosystem in Minjiang River *** results show that:(1)With the increase of time and carbon emission,the area of high vulnerability and the higher vulnerability increased continuously,and the area of low vulnerability and the lower vulnerability decreased.(2)The eastern and northeastern part of the Culu Island in the Minjiang River Estuary of Fujian Province and the eastern coastal wetland of Meihua Town in Changle District are areas with high vulnerability *** area of high vulnerability area of coastal wetland under high emission scenario is wider than that under low emission scenario.(3)Under different sea level rise scenarios,elevation has the greatest impact on the vulnerability of coastal wetlands,and slope has less *** impact of sea level rise caused by climate change on the coastal wetland ecosystem in the Minjiang River Estuary is mainly manifested in the sea level rise,which changes the habitat elevation and daily flooding time of coastal wetlands,and then affects the survival and distribution of coastal wetland ecosystems.

Background:This study investigated greenhouse gas(GHG)emission characteristics of lactating Holstein dairy cows in East China and provided a basis for formulating GHG emission reduction *** system was used to measure the amount of methane(CH_(4))and carbon dioxide(CO_(2))emitted by the cows through *** from a commercial cow farm were used to observe the effects of parity,body weight,milk yield,and milk component yield on CH_(4) and CO_(2) ***:Mean herd responses throughout the study were as follows:111 cows completed all experimental processes,while 42 cows were rejected because they were sick or had not visited the GreenFeed system 20 *** average,lactating days of cows was 138±19.04 d,metabolic weight was 136.5±9.5 kg,parity was 2.8±1.0,dry matter intake(DMI)was 23.1±2.6 kg/d,and milk yield was 38.1±6.9 kg/*** GreenFeed system revealed that CH_(4) production(expressed in CO_(2) equivalent,CO_(2)-eq)was found to be 8304 g/d,CH_(4)_(CO_(2)−eq)/DMI was 359 g/kg,CH_(4)_(CO_(2)−eq)/energy-corrected milk(ECM)was 229.5 g/kg,total CO_(2) production(CH_(4) production plus CO_(2) production)was 19,201 g/d,total CO_(2)/DMI was 831 g/kg,and total CO_(2)/ECM was 531 g/*** parity and metabolic weight of cows had no significant effect on total CO_(2) emissions(P>0.05).Cows with high milk yield,milk fat yield,milk protein yield,and total milk solids yield produced more total CO_(2)(P<0.05),but their total CO_(2) production per kg of ECM was low(P<0.05).The total CO_(2)/ECM of the medium and high milk yield groups was 17%and 27%lower than that of the low milk yield group,***:The parity and body condition had no effect on total CO_(2) emissions,while the total CO_(2)/ECM was negatively correlated with milk yield,milk fat yield,milk protein yield,and total milk solids yield in lactating Holstein dairy *** of total CO_(2) emissions of dairy cows in the Chinese production system will help establish re

Radiomic-based machine learning model for predicting the surgical risk in children with abdominal neuroblastoma

Background Preoperative imaging assessment of surgical risk is very important for the prognosis of these *** develop and validate a radiomics-based machine learning model based on the analysis of radiomics features to predict surgical risk in children with abdominal neuroblastoma(NB).Methods A retrospective study was conducted from April 2019 to March 2021 among 74 children with abdominal NB.A total of 1874 radiomic features in MR images were extracted from each *** vector machines(SVMs)were used to establish the *** percent of the data were used as the training set to optimize the model,and 20%of the data were used to validate its accuracy,sensitivity,specificity and area under the curve(AUC)to verify its *** Among the 74 children with abdominal NB,55(65%)had surgical risk and 19(35%)had no surgical risk.A t test and Lasso identified that 28 radiomic features were associated with surgical *** developing an SVMbased model using these features,predictions were made about whether children with abdominal NB had surgical *** model achieved an AUC of 0.94(a sensitivity of 0.83 and a specificity of 0.80)with 0.890 accuracy in the training set and an AUC of 0.81(a sensitivity of 0.73 and a specificity of 0.82)with 0.838 accuracy in the test *** Radiomics and machine learning can be used to predict the surgical risk in children with abdominal *** model based on 28 radiomic features established by SVM showed good diagnostic efficiency.

A Low Temperature Vulcanized Transparent Silane Modified Epoxy Resins for LED Filament Bulb Package

In this work, low-temperature vulcanized, transparent silane modified epoxy resins for LED filament bulb package were prepared. Firstly, transparent silane modified epoxy resins were produced through a controllable sol-gel method using γ-（2,3-epoxypropoxy）propytrimethoxysilane and dimethyldiethoxylsilane. The features of the reaction were investigated and the products were characterized in detail. Subsequently, various curing agents were explored to prepare transparent silane modified epoxy resins. The silane modified epoxy resins cured by PEA-230 at a fairly low temperature（40 °C/2 h then 60 °C/1 h） exhibited excellent thermal stability with a thermal degradation temperature as high as 316.5 °C and adjustable hardness between 40-60 shore A. The application tests showed the materials obtained were good candidates for LED filament bulb package.

Computational Research on Modular Undulating Fin for Biorobotic Underwater Propulsor

Biomimetic design employs the principles of nature to solve engineering problems. Such designs which are hoped to be quick, efficient, robust, and versatile, have taken advantage of optimization via natural selection. In the present research, an environment-friendly propulsion system mimicking undulating fins of stingray was built. A non-conventional method was considered to model the flexibility of the fins of stingray. A two-degree-of-freedom mechanism comprised of several linkages was designed and constructed to mimic the actual flexible fin, The driving linkages were used to form a mechanical fin consisting of several fin segments, which are able tO produce undulations, similar to those produced by the actual fins. Owing to the modularity of the design of the mechanical fin, various undulating patterns can be realized. Some qualitative observations, obtained by experiments, predicted that the thrusts produced by the mechanical fin are different among various undulating patterns. To fully understand this experimental phenomenon is very important for better performance and energy saving for our biorobotic underwater propulsion system. Here, four basic undulating patterns of the mechanical fin were performed using two-dimensional unsteady computational fluid dynamics （CFD） method. An unstructured, grid-based, unsteady Navier-Stokes solver with automatic adaptive re-meshing was used to compute the unsteady flow around the fin through twenty complete cycles. The pressure distribution on fin surface was computed and integrated to provide fin forces which were decomposed into rift and thrust. The pressure force and friction force were also computed throughout the swimming cycle. Finally, vortex contour maps of these four basic fin undulating patterns were displayed and compared.

Under regular heating and microwave irradiation, 3-alkyl substituted imidazo[1,5-a] pyridines were synthesized from 2,2＇- pyridil, di-2-pyridyl ketone and aliphatic aldehydes in the presence of ammonium acetate and acetic acid. Compared to the traditional heating condition, the reaction time under microwave irradiation was shorter and 3-alkyl imidazo[1,5-a]pyddines were given in higher yield.

Effects of Preoperative Risk Stratification on Direct In-hospital Costs for Chinese Patients with Coronary Artery Bypass Graft:A Single Center Analysis

The purpose of this study was to analyze the components of inpatient costs for coronary artery bypass graft(CABG)according to preoperative risk stratification and to provide evidence for improvement of diagnosis-related groups(DRGs)*** patients(n=458)receiving an isolated CABG between January 2014 and December 2016 in a tertiary referral center,in southwest China,were *** mortality was predicted by the EuroSCORE Ⅱ for each patient. The patients were subdivided into two groups according to the observed mortality(1.97%,9/458):a high-risk group(group H,predicted mortality≥1.97%)and a low-risk group(group L,predicted mortality<1.97%).Clinical outcomes,resource use,in-hospital direct costs,and reimbursement expenses were compared between the two *** differences existed between group L and group H in postoperative mortality(0.4% vs.3.4%;P=0.02),postoperative complications(10.6% vs.45.7%;P<0.001),postoperative length of hospital stay(17.5±4.9 days vs.18.8±6.5 days,P=0.01),in-hospital costs($20 256±3096vs.$23 334±6332;P<0.001),and reimbursement expenses($7775±2627 vs.$9639±3917;P<0.001).In general,a higher EuroSCORE Ⅱ was significantly associated with a worse clinical outcome and increased *** CABG cost data provide evidence for improvement of DRGs payment. Tritium concentrations in precipitation in Shanghai

Tritium concentrations in precipitation can be used as a criterion to evaluate the tritium baseline of the environment. The tritium concentration in precipitation in Shanghai during 2014-2015 was determined. Values ranged from 0.68 ± 0.04 to 4.11 ± 0.39 Bq/L, and it showed a decreasing trend compared with historical data; however,the values were slightly higher than the natural background tritium level. Additionally, the tritium concentration shows a seasonal variation: It was higher in autumn and winter and lower in summer and spring. A comparison of concentrations in precipitation in Shanghai and around the Qinshan Nuclear Power Plant reveals no correlation,implying that the nuclear power plant operations may not affect the environment of Shanghai. Thus, the raised tritium concentrations in Shanghai might be due to the effects of monsoons, spring leak, raindrop, or other activities that generate tritium there. Those activities may include chemistry research that uses tritium as a tracer.

Synergetic effect of lattice distortion and oxygen vacancies on high-rate lithium-ion storage in high-entropy perovskite oxides

High-entropy oxides(HEOs)have gained great attention as an emerging kind of highperformance anode materials for lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)due to the entropy stabilization and multi-principal synergistic ***,the porous perovskite-type RE(Co_(0.2)Cr_(0.2)Fe_(0.2)Mn_(0.2)Ni_(0.2))O_(3)(RE(=La,Sm,and Gd)is the abbreviation of rare earth)HEOs were successfully synthesized by a solution combustion synthesis(SCS)*** to the synergistic effect of lattice distortion and oxygen vacancies(Ov),the Gd(Co_(0.2)Cr_(0.2)Fe_(0.2)Mn_(0.2)Ni_(0.2))O_(3) electrode exhibits superior high-rate lithium-ion storage performance and excellent cycling stability.A reversible capacity of 403 mAh·g^(-1) at a current rate of 0.2 A·g^(-1) after 500 cycles and a superior high-rate capacity of 394 mAh·g^(-1)even at 1.0 A·g^(-1)after 500 cycles are ***,the Gd(Co_(0.2)Cr_(0.2)Fe_(0.2)Mn_(0.2)Ni_(0.2))O_(3) electrode also exhibits a pronounced pseudo-capacitive behavior,contributing to an additional *** adjusting and balancing the lattice distortion and oxygen vacancies of the electrode materials,the lithium-ion storage performance can be further regulated.
