目的分析肺炎支原体坏死性肺炎(MPNP)和细菌性坏死性肺炎(BNP)的临床特征,观察炎性指标变化特点。方法回顾性分析2016年至2021年收治并诊断为MPNP和BNP的临床资料共72例。结果 MPNP组43例,BNP组29例,前者年龄中位数7.9岁,后者1.9岁(P 0.05)。MPNP组血D-二聚体中位数4.1 mg/L高于BNP组3 mg/L(P<0.05)。MPNP组胸水白细胞以单核细胞为主,BNP组以多核细胞为主,BNP组胸水糖(2±2)mmol/L明显低于MPNP组(6±2)mmol/L(P<0.01)。MPNP组肺部发生空洞坏死的时间为(23.4±10.0)天,BNP组为(10.4±5.7)天(P<0.01)。MPNP组8例可见肺动脉栓塞,支气管镜下7例可见塑型形成,21例遗留有管腔狭窄、闭塞后遗症。BNP组12例出现脓气胸。结论 BNP组在病程前3天C-反应蛋白和降钙素原明显升高;容易发生呼吸困难及脓气胸。MPNP组中性粒细胞比例在病程4天以后明显升高,血D-二聚体水平较高,肺部空洞坏死发生晚,容易发生肺动脉栓塞,支气管镜下可见塑型,管腔狭窄、闭塞后遗症发生率较高。

Comparative detection of syndecan-2 methylation in preoperative and postoperative stool DNA in patients with colorectal cancer

BACKGROUND Early detection of colorectal cancer(CRC)is essential to reduce cancer-related morbidity and *** DNA(sDNA)testing is an emerging method for early CRC ***-2(SDC2)methylation is a potential biomarker for the sDNA *** DNA methylation is an early epigenetic event during tumorigenesis and can occur in the normal colonic mucosa during aging,which can compromise the sDNA test *** In this prospective study,we enrolled 151 patients with CRC who underwent curative surgical resection between September 2016 and May *** stool samples were collected from 123 patients and postoperative samples were collected from 122 patients.A total of 104 samples were collected from both preoperative and postoperative *** promoter methylation of SDC2 in sDNA was assessed using linear target enrichment quantitative methylation-specific real-time polymerase chain *** parameters were analyzed using the results of SDC2 *** Detection rates of SDC2 methylation in the preoperative and postoperative stool samples were 88.6%and 19.7%,*** tumor size(3 cm,P=0.019)and advanced T stage(T3–T4,P=0.033)were positively associated with the detection rate of SDC2 methylation before *** sex was associated with false positives after surgery(P=0.030).Cycle threshold(CT)values were significantly decreased postoperatively compared with preoperative values(P<0.001).The postoperative negative conversion rate for preoperatively methylated SDC2 was 79.3%(73/92).CONCLUSION Our results suggested that the SDC2 methylation test for sDNA has acceptable sensitivity and ***,small size and early T stage tumors are associated with a low detection rate of SDC2 *** the cycle threshold values significantly decreased after surgery,SDC2 methylation test for sDNA might have a diagnostic value for CRC.

Integrating Deep Learning and Machine Translation for Understanding Unrefined Languages

In the field of natural language processing(NLP),the advancement of neural machine translation has paved the way for cross-lingual ***,most studies in NLP have evaluated the proposed language models on well-refined *** investigatewhether amachine translation approach is suitable for multilingual analysis of unrefined datasets,particularly,chat messages in *** order to address it,we collected the dataset,which included 7,066,854 and 3,365,569 chat messages from English and Korean streams,*** employed several machine learning classifiers and neural networks with two different types of embedding:word-sequence embedding and the final layer of a pre-trained language *** results of the employed models indicate that the accuracy difference between English,and English to Korean was relatively high,ranging from 3%to 12%.For Korean data(Korean,and Korean to English),it ranged from 0%to 2%.Therefore,the results imply that translation from a low-resource language(e.g.,Korean)into a high-resource language(e.g.,English)shows higher performance,in contrast to vice *** implications and limitations of the presented results are also *** instance,we suggest the feasibility of translation from resource-poor languages for using the tools of resource-rich languages in further analysis.

Fragmentation stability and retention time-shift obtained by LC-MS/MS to distinguish sialylated N-glycan linkage isomers in therapeutic glycoproteins

Sialylated N-glycan isomers withα2-3 orα2-6 linkage(s)have distinctive roles in glycoproteins,but are difficult to ***-type(WT)and glycoengineered(mutant)therapeutic glycoproteins,cytotoxic T lymphocyte-associated antigen-4-immunoglobulin(CTLA4-Ig),were produced in Chinese hamster ovary cell lines;however,their linkage isomers have not been *** this study,N-glycans of CTLA4-Igs were released,labeled with procainamide,and analyzed by liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry(MS/MS)to identify and quantify sialylated N-glycan linkage *** linkage isomers were distinguished by comparison of 1)intensity of the N-acetylglucosamine ion to the sialic acid ion(Ln/Nn)using different fragmentation stability in MS/MS spectra and 2)retention time-shift for a selective m/z value in the extracted ion *** isomer was distinctively identified,and each quantity(>0.1%)was obtained relative to the total N-glycans(100%)for all observed ionization *** sialylated N-glycan isomers with onlyα2-3 linkage(s)in WT were identified,and each isomer's sum of quantities was 50.4%.Furthermore,39 sialylated N-glycan isomers(58.8%)in mono-(3 N-glycans;0.9%),bi-(18;48.3%),tri-(14;8.9%),and tetra-(4;0.7%)antennary structures of mutant were obtained,which comprised mono-(15 N-glycans;25.4%),di-(15;28.4%),tri-(8;4.8%),and tetra-(1;0.2%)sialylation,respectively,with onlyα2-3(10 N-glycans;4.8%),bothα2-3 andα2-6(14;18.4%),and onlyα2-6(15;35.6%)linkage(s).These results are consistent with those forα2-3 neuraminidase-treated *** study generated a novel plot of Ln/Nn versus retention time to distinguish sialylated N-glycan linkage isomers in glycoprotein.

Recent research progress on magnesium alloys in Korea:A review

This review highlights the recent advancements in Mg research in South Korea with a prime focus on high-speed-extrudable Mg–Bi-based alloys for high productivity and strength, innovative techniques utilizing {10–12} twinning for improved mechanical properties, and alloying and processing methods for enhanced corrosion resistance. High-alloyed Mg–Bi-based alloys possess thermally stable α-Mg matrix and secondary phase, which ensures high-speed extrusion of these alloys at elevated temperatures without hot cracking. Consequently, they exhibit outstanding extrudability with a maximum extrusion speed of up to 70 m/min. Furthermore, their high alloying contents offer excellent strength even after high-speed extrusion through strong solid solution hardening and particle hardening effects, making them suitable for high-performance extruded Mg products. The pre-twinning process utilizing {10–12} twinning and the combined process of pre-twinning and subsequent annealing have shown promise in controlling microstructure and texture of wrought Mg alloys and thus enhancing their mechanical properties. The pre-twinning process enhances tensile strength, fatigue properties, and age-hardening rate of Mg alloys. Furthermore, the combined processes of pre-twinning and subsequent annealing considerably improve their ductility, stretch formability, bending formability,and damping capacity. Efforts have been made to improve the corrosion resistance of Mg alloys through alloying additions, process treatments,and surface coatings. Alloying elements like Ca, Sc, and Sm alter the microstructural features(such as secondary phases and grain size)that affect the corrosion phenomenon. Process treatments such as multidirectional forging, screw rolling, and pulse electron beam can also improve the corrosion resistance by refining the microstructure. Furthermore, advanced surface coating technologies can create durable and corrosion-resistant layers for effectively protecting the Mg alloys. All th

Electrodeposited copper oxides with a suppressed interfacial amorphous phase using mixed-crystalline ITO and their enhanced photoelectrochemical performances

The effectiveness of photoelectrochemical(PEC)water splitting is significantly restricted by insufficient light harvesting,rapid charge recombination,and slow water reduction *** the presence of amorphous phases in the interfaces hinders the overcome of these inherent limitations,a photoelectrode must be built ***,we artificially controlled the crystallographic orientation of indium tin oxide(ITO)to determine the orientation with the smallest lattice mismatch at the Cu_(2)O interface,thus significantly reducing the amorphous phase in the early stage of electrodeposition ***[222]/[400]mixed orientation ITO primarily exposed the{400}surface planes and accelerated charge transfer by forming an optimal interface with preferentially grown(111)oriented Cu_(2)O and minimized amorphous *** addition,the ITO surface energy was calculated using density functional theory to theoretically verify which plane is more active for growing the photoactivation *** rationally designed ITO/Cu_(2)O/Al-dope Zn O/TiO_(2)/Rh-P device,with each layer serving a specific purpose,achieved a photocurrent density of 8.23 mA cm^(-2)at 0 VRHEunder AM 1.5 G illumination,providing a standard method for effective solar-to-hydrogen conversion photocathodes.
