AIM:To analyze the spectrum of isolated pathogens and antibiotic resistance for ocular infections within 5y at two tertiary hospitals in east ***:Ocular specimen data were collected from January 2.19 to October *** pathogen spectrum and positive culture rate for different infection location,such as keratitis,endophthalmitis,and periocular infections,along with antibiotic resistance were ***:We included 2.2. specimens,including 82.(30.33%)positive cultures.A total of 871 strains were isolated,530(60.85%)bacterial and 341(39.15%)fungal strains were ***-positive cocci(GPC)were the most common ocular *** most common bacterial isolates were Staphylococcus epidermidis(2..03%),Staphylococcus aureus(7.46%),Streptococcus pneumoniae(4.59%),Corynebacterium macginleyi(3.44%),and Pseudomonas aeruginosa(3.33%).The most common fungal genera were Fusarium spp.(12.74%),Aspergillus spp.(6.54%),and Scedosporium spp.(5.74%).Staphylococcus epidermidis strains showed more than 50%resistance to *** pneumoniae and Corynebacterium macginleyi showed more than 90%resistance to *** percentage of bacteria showing multidrug resistance(MDR)significantly decreased(χ^(2.=17.44,P=0.002..CONCLUSION:GPC are the most common ocular *** macginleyi,as the fourth common bacterium,may currently be the local microbiological feature of east *** *** the most common *** than 50%of the GPC are resistant to fluoroquinolones,penicillins,and ***,the proportion of MDR strains has been reduced over time.

General anesthesia is widely applied in clinical ***,the precise mechanism of loss of consciousness induced by general anesthetics remains ***,we measured the dynamics of five neurotransmitters,includingγ-aminobutyric acid,glutamate,norepinephrine,acetylcholine,and dopamine,in the medial prefrontal cortex and primary visual cortex of C57BL/6 mice through in vivo fiber photometry and genetically encoded neurotransmitter sensors under anesthesia to reveal the mechanism of general anesthesia from a neurotransmitter *** revealed that the concentrations of γ-aminobutyric acid,glutamate,norepinephrine,and acetylcholine increased in the cortex during propofol-induced loss of *** levels did not change following the hypnotic dose of propofol but increased significantly following surgical doses of propofol ***,the concentrations of the five neurotransmitters generally decreased during sevoflurane-induced loss of ***,the neurotransmitter dynamic networks were not synchronized in the non-anesthesia groups but were highly synchronized in the anesthetic *** findings suggest that neurotransmitter dynamic network synchronization may cause anesthetic-induced loss of consciousness.

Wastewater treatment plants(WWTPs)are important and energy-intensive municipal *** energy consumption and relatively low operating performance are major challenges from the perspective of carbon ***,water-energy nexus analysis and models for WWTPs have rarely been reported to *** this study,a cloud-model-based energy consumption analysis(CMECA)of a WWTP was conducted to explore the relationship between influent and energy consumption by clustering its influent’s *** principal component analysis(PCA)and K-means clustering were applied to classify the influent condition using water quality and volume *** energy consumption of the WWTP is divided into five standard evaluation levels,and its cloud digital characteristics(CDCs)were extracted according to bilateral constraints and golden ratio *** results showed that the energy consumption distribution gradually dispersed and deviated from the Gaussian distribution with decreased water concentration and *** days with high energy efficiency were extracted via the clustering method from the influent category of excessive energy consumption,represented by a compact-type energy consumption distribution curve to identify the influent conditions that affect the steady distribution of energy *** local WWTP has high energy consumption with 0.3613 kW·h·m^(-3)despite low influent concentration and volumes,across four consumption levels from low(I)to relatively high(IV),showing an unsatisfactory operation and management *** average oxygenation capacity,internal reflux ratio,and external reflux ratio during high energy efficiency days recognized by further clustering were obtained(0.2.2.-0.3703 kg O_(2.·m^(-3),1.9576-2.4787,and 0.6603-0.8361,respectively),which could be used as a guide for the days with low energy ***,this study offers a water-energy nexus analysis method to identify influent conditions with operational manageme

Rubbers or elastomers play an important role in hi-tech technology and civilian daily life because of their unique and strategical ***,the rubber additives are essential components for rubbers’practical ***,developing novel multifunctional additives has attracted increasing research *** this work,low-cost crude carbon dots(CCDs)were used as multifunctional additives for natural rubber/silica system(without any additional modification)through industrial compatible melt-mixing *** results revealed that the CCDs could disperse well in the NR/silica system,and they could not only endow the rubber compound with excellent anti-aging capability due to CCDs’radical scavenging activity because of their plenty of nitrogen-containing species,but also improve the curing rate and mechanical performance of the rubber ***,the CCDs could reduce the rolling resistance of the rubber composites(tanδvalue at 7%strain of the rubber composite could be decreased by 34%),which is promising for the application of energy-saving tire ***,the addition of CCDs could effectively reduce the ZnO dosage by at least 40%in the rubber composite without deteriorating its ***,this work provides valuable guidance to develop novel cheap yet effective additives for the elastomer.

The dynamic RNA modifications have been viewed as new posttranscriptional regulator in modulating gene expression as well as in a broad range of physiological processes.N^(1)-methyladenosine(m^(1)A)is one of the most prevalent modifications existing in multiple types of ***-depth investigation of the functions of m^(1)A requires the site-specific assessment of m^(1)A stoichiometry in ***,we established a demethylase-assisted method(DA-m^(1)A)for the site-specific detection and quantification of m^(1)A in RNA.N^(1)-methyl group in m^(1)A could result in the stalling of reverse transcription at m^(1)A site,thus producing the truncated *** AlkB is a demethylase that can demethylate m^(1)A to produce adenine in RNA,thus generating full-length cDNA from AlkB-treated *** of the produced amounts of full-length cDNA by quantitative real-time PCR can achieve the site-specific detection and quantification of m^(1)A in *** the DA-m^(1)A method,we examined and successfully confirmed the previously well-characterized m^(1)A sites in various types of RNAs with low false positive *** addition,we found that the level of m^(1)A was significantly decreased at the bromodomain containing 2.BRD2.mRNA position 1674 and CST telomere replication complex component 1(CTC1)mRNA position 5643 in human hepatocellular carcinoma *** results suggest that these two m^(1)A sites in mRNA may be involved in liver *** together,the DA-m^(1)A method is simple and enables the rapid,cost-effective,and site-specific detection and quantification of m^(1)A in RNA,which provides a valuable tool to decipher the functions of m^(1)A in human diseases.

Pulsar search is always the basis of pulsar navigation,gravitational wave detection and other research ***,the volume of pulsar candidates collected by the Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical radio Telescope(FAST)shows an explosive growth rate that has brought challenges for its pulsar candidate filtering ***,the multi-view heterogeneous data and class imbalance between true pulsars and non-pulsar candidates have negative effects on traditional single-modal supervised classification *** this study,a multi-modal and semi-supervised learning based on a pulsar candidate sifting algorithm is presented,which adopts a hybrid ensemble clustering scheme of density-based and partition-based methods combined with a feature-level fusion strategy for input data and a data partition strategy for *** on both High Time Resolution Universe SurveyⅡ(HTRU2.and actual FAST observation data demonstrate that the proposed algorithm could excellently identify pulsars:On HTRU2.the precision and recall rates of its parallel mode reach0.981 and 0.988 *** FAST data,those of its parallel mode reach 0.891 and 0.961,meanwhile,the running time also significantly decreases with the increment of parallel nodes within ***,we can conclude that our algorithm could be a feasible idea for large scale pulsar candidate sifting for FAST drift scan observation.
