The functionalities and diverse metastable phases of multiferroic BiFeO3(BFO)thin films depend on the misfit *** mixed phase-induced strain relaxation in multiphase BFO thin films is well known,it is unclear whether a singlecrystalline BFO thin film can accommodate misfit strain without the involvement of its ***,understanding the strain relaxation behavior is key to elucidating the lattice strain–property *** this study,a correlative strain analysis based on dark-field inline electron holography(DIH)and quantitative scanning transmission electron microscopy(STEM)was performed to reveal the structural mechanism for strain accommodation of a single-crystalline BFO thin *** nanoscale DIH strain analysis results indicated a random combination of multiple strain states that acted as a primary strain relief,forming irregularly strained *** STEM-based bond length measurement of the corresponding strained nanodomains revealed a unique strain accommodation behavior achieved by a statistical combination of multiple modes of distorted structures on the unit-cell *** globally integrated strain for each nanodomain was estimated to be close to􀀀1.5%,irrespective of the nanoscale strain states,which was consistent with the fully strained BFO film on the SrTiO3 *** functional theory calculations suggested that strain accommodation by the combination of metastable phases was energetically favored compared to single-phase-mediated *** discovery allows a comprehensive understanding of strain accommodation behavior in ferroelectric oxide films,such as BFO,with various low-symmetry polymorphs.

Objective To assess the use of evidence-based research(EBR)approach in randomized controlled trials(RCTs)of acupuncture-related therapies for primary dysmenorrhea(PD).Methods PubMed,EMBASE,Cochrane Library,China National Knowledge Infrastructure,Wanfang Database,Chinese Biomedical Database,and China Science and Technology Journal Database were searched from January 2.13 to December 2.2. for RCTs of acupuncture on *** full text and references of each RCT were read to assess whether systematic reviews(SRs)or other types of studies with similar research questions and end-users’perspectives were cited to justify and design the *** addition,the discussion section were analyzed to evaluate whether trials placed the new result in the existing SRs to draw a *** logistic regression was used to find variables that associated with 3 aspects of EBR approach:(1)citing clinical studies for justification,(2.citing relevant studies that obtain the perspectives of end users,and(3)citing clinical studies for results *** Of 473 RCTs included,45.67%(2.6)of the trials cited relevant similar studies,2..56%(102.referenced to the studies that collected end-users’perspectives,and 10.99%(52.placed result in the context of the previous *** RCTs appropriately applied EBR *** all the included studies,3.17%(15)of the trials used SRs to inform study questions but none of them used updated SRs with acceptable quality;1.05%(5)of the trials cited SRs of end-user’s perspectives in the justification and design of the study,and only 1 trial added results in existing SR to draw a *** of publication,language,funding,registration,ethical approval and number of sites were significantly associated with 1 of the 3 aspects of EBR *** Few RCTs in acupuncture-related therapies for PD used the EBR approach to minimize research ***,research institutes,funding agencies,ethics committees,journals and peer

Insects damaging and penetrating plastic packaged materials has been reported since the *** innovation breakthroughs of plastic biodegradation have been initiated since the discovery of biodegradation of plastics by Tenebrio molitor larvae in 2.15 followed by Galleria mellonella in *** we review updated studies on the insect-mediated biodegradation of *** biodegradation by insect larvae,mainly by some species of darkling beetles(Tenebrionidae)and pyralid moths(Pyralidae)is currently a highly active and potentially transformative area of *** the past eight years,publications have increased explosively,including discoveries of the ability of different insect species to biodegrade plastics,biodegradation performance,and the contribution of host and microbiomes,impacts of polymer types and their physic-chemical properties,and responsible enzymes secreted by the host and gut *** date,almost all major plastics including polyethylene(PE),polypropylene(PP),polyvinyl chloride(PVC),polyethylene terephthalate(PET),polyurethane(PUR),and polystyrene(PS)can be biodegraded by *** and ten other insect species representing the Tenebrionidae and Pyralidae *** biodegradation processes are symbiotic reactions or performed by synergistic efforts of both host and gut-microbes to rapidly depolymerize and biodegrade plastics with hourly *** digestive ezymens and bioreagents screted by the insects play an essential role in plasatic biodegradation in certain species of Tenebrionidae and Pyralidae *** research on the insect itself,gut microbiomes,transcriptomes,proteomes and metabolomes has evaluated the mechanisms of plastic biodegradation in *** conclude this review by discussing future research perspectives on insect-mediated biodegradation of plastics.

BACKGROUND The pedicle screw technique is widely employed for vertebral body fixation in the treatment of spinal ***,traditional screw placement methods require the dissection of paraspinal muscles and the insertion of pedicle screws at specific transverse section angles(TSA).Larger TSA angles require more force to pull the muscle tissue,which can increase the risk of surgical trauma and ischemic injury to the lumbar *** To study the feasibility of zero-degree TSA vertical pedicle screw technique in the lumbosacral *** Finite element models of vertebral bodies and pedicle screw-rod systems were established for the L4-S1 spinal segments.A standard axial load of 500 N and a rotational torque of 10 N/m were *** screw pull-out experiment was conducted to observe pedicle screw resistance to pull-out,maximum stress,load-displacement ratio,maximum stress in vertebral bodies,load-displacement ratio in vertebral bodies,and the stress distribution in pedicle screws and vertebral *** between the 0-degree and 17-degree TSA were *** At 0-degree TSA,the screw pull-out force decreased by 11.35%compared to that at 17-degree TSA(P2.2.8-648.5 MPa,separately,which were below the fracture threshold for the screw-rod system(92. MPa).At 0-degree and 17-degree TSA,the stress range in the vertebral bodies was 68.45-78.91 MPa and 39.08-72.73 MPa,separately,which were below the typical bone yield stress range for vertebral bodies(110-12. MPa).At 0-degree TSA,the load-displacement ratio for the vertebral bodies and pedicle screws was slightly lower compared to that at 17-degree TSA,indicating slightly lower stability(P<0.05).CONCLUSION The safety and stability of 0-degree TSA are slightly lower,but the risks of screw-rod system fracture,vertebral body fracture,and rupture are within acceptable limits.

The diamond-wire sawing silicon waste（DWSSW） from the photovoltaic industry has been widely considered as a low-cost raw material for lithium-ion battery silicon-based electrode,but the effect mechanism of impurities presents in DWSSW on lithium storage performance is still not well understood;meanwhile,it is urgent to develop a strategy for changing DWSSW particles into high-performance electrode *** this work,the occurrence state of impurities presents in DWSSW was carefully analyzed using in situ Ar ion etching technology Then,the novel Si@C@SiOx@PAl-NDC composite was designed through in situ encapsulation *** obtained Si@C@SiOx@PAl-NDC electrode shows a high first capacity of 2.43.4 mAh·g-1with an initial Coulombic efficiency （ICE） of 84.4%under current density of 1.0 A·g-1,and can deliver an impressive capacity of 984.9 mAh·g-1after 2.0 *** numerical simulation modeling calculations,the increase in proportion of Si4+/Si0and Si3+/Si0valence states in SiOxlayer leads to a decrease in von Mises stress,which ultimately improves the cycling structural ***,the porous 2.-3D aluminum/nitrogen （Al/N） co-doped carbon layer and nanowires on SiOxlayer can provide abundant active sites for lithium storage due to its developed hierarchical pores structure,which facilitates ion transport What is more,the performance of Si@C@SiOx@PAl-NDC//LiFePO4full cell shows its great potential in practical application.
