Fine Mapping of Spr3, a Locus for Spreading Panicle from African Cultivated Rice （Oryza glaberrima Steud.）

A CSSL （chromosome segment substitution line）, SG-64, carrying a segment of chromosome 4 from African cultivated rice （CG-14） in the genetic background of var. Wuyujing-7 （japonica）, showed a spreading panicle, which was different significantly from that of Wuyujing-7 with an erect compact panicle. The gene controlling a spreading panicle is referred to as Spr3, and is mapped on chromosome 4. To uncover the genetic basis of Spr3, a large F2.population derived from cross between SG-64 and Wuyujing-7 was constructed for fine mapping of the Spr3 locus. The high-resolution linkage analysis revealed that the Spr3 locus was narrowed down to a 4.6-kb region. The delimited genomic DNA regions of Wuyujing-7 and CG-14 were sequenced and compared. Sequence mutations between Wuyujing-7 and CG-14 were evident and the candidate genes for the locus were predicted. Publicly available databases were searched for homologous cDNA sequences. However, any coding regions or other meaningful sequences for the Spr3 locus were not found within this delimited region. This result suggested that Spr3 is an unknown genetic factor in controlling the outspreading of the primary branches in rice inflorescence. In addition, NIL（Spr3） exhibited seed shattering. The formation of spreading panicle was accompanied by a few undesirable traits and the spreading panicle links with seed shattering suggest that the spreading panicle was likely lost during the domestication and selection for high seed productivity of cultivated rice.

中子辐射俘获反应在反应堆运行、核装置设计及核天体物理研究中起重要的作用.4πBaF_(2.探测装置有着高时间分辨能力、低中子灵敏度、高探测效率等优点,适合开展中子辐射俘获反应截面数据的测量.中国原子能科学研究院核数据重点实验室建立了伽马全吸收装置(Gamma total absorption facility,GTAF),该装置用2.块六棱BaF_(2.晶体和12.五棱BaF_(2.晶体构成了外径2. cm,内径10 cm的球壳,覆盖了95.2.的立体角.利用GTAF在中国散裂中子源Back-n束线上,测量了197Au(n,γ)的反应截面数据.测量数据通过能量筛选、PSD方法、晶体多重性筛选进行了初步本底扣除,随后结合对^(nat)C及空样品的测量数据对本底进行了分析及扣除,获得了197Au俘获反应的产额,利用SAMMY程序拟合得到了^(197)Au在1—100 e V的共振能量、中子共振宽度和伽马共振宽度参数.实验测量结果与ENDF/B-VIII.0数据库符合良好,其共振参数存在一定差异,分析原因可能与GTAF能量分辨率、Back-n的中子能谱测量精度、以及实验本底扣除方法相关,这也是下一步工作的重点.

Impacts of smoking status on the clinical outcomes of coronary non-target lesions in patients with coronary heart disease:a single-center angiographic study

Fractionated stereotactic radiotherapy with vagina carotica protection technique for local residual nasopharyngeal carcinoma after primary radiotherapy

Background Local failure of nasopharyngeal carcinoma （NPC） after radiotherapy （RT） remains one of the major treatment failures. This study aimed to evaluate the clinical efficacy and complications of fractionated stereotactic radiotherapy （FSRT） with vagina carotica protection technique for local residual of NPC patients after the primary RT. Methods From August 2.06 to August 2.10, FSRT with vagina carotica protection technique was applied to 36 patients in our department, the patients aged between 13 and 76 years with a median of 41.3 years, 2. of them were male and 11 were female. According to 2.02.Union for International Cancer Control （UICC） Staging System, the stages before primary radiotherapy were： Ila 2. lib 5, III 18, IVa 7, IVb 4. In the first course of radiotherapy, 9 patients received conventional RT, 2. patients received intensity modulated radiotherapy （IMRT） and 2. out of the 36 patients received concurrent chemoradiotherapy. The total dose in the first course of RT was 69.96-76.90 Gy （median, 72.58 Gy）. The intervals between the primary RT and FSRT ranged from 12.to 147 days （median, 39.8 days）. Target volumes ranged from 1.46 to 32.98 cm3 （median, 14.94 cm3）. The total FSRT doses were 10.0-2..0 Gy （median, 16.5 Gy） with 2.0-5.0 Gy per fraction. The most common regimen was 15 Gy in 5 fractions of 3 Gy, the irradiation dose to vagina carotica was less than 2.Gy per fraction. Results The median follow-up time was 34 months （range, 12.59 months）. The 3-year local control rate was 100%; the 3-year overall survival rate was 94.4%; the 3-year disease-free survival rate was 77.8%. In this study, we had one case of cranial nerve injury, two cases of temporal lobe necrosis, and no nasopharyngeal massive hemorrhage was observed. Conclusion FSRT with vagina carotica protection technique is an effective and safe RT regimen for local residual of NPC with reduction of radiation-related neurovascular lesions.
