AIM:To evaluate the clinical efficacy of topical 0.05%cyclosporine nano-emulsion in the treatment of dry eye syndrome(DES)with meibomian gland dysfunction(MGD).METHODS:This prospective study included 64 patients with DES and MGD who were randomly assigned to three groups:Group 1(n=24,conventional cyclosporine),Group 2(n=21,nano-emulsion cyclosporine),and Group 3(n=19,control).Lid margin telangiectasia(LMT),meibomian gland secretion(MGS),conjunctival injection(CI),corneal staining(CS),tear break-up time(TBUT),Schirmer test I(STI),Ocular Surface Disease Index(OSDI),and lipid layer thickness(LLT)was evaluated at 4,8,and 12wk of ***:In Group 3(control),LMT,CS,and CI improved after 8wk,MGS,TBUT after 12wk of *** Group 1(conventional cyclosporine),LMT,MGS,and TBUT improved significantly after 4wk,whereas CS,CI,STI,and LLT improved significantly after 8wk,and OSDI at *** Group 2(nano-cyclosporine),LMT,MGS,CS,CI,TBUT,and OSDI significantly improved after 4wk,and STI after ***,LLT was significantly higher than other groups after ***:Cyclosporine and nano-cyclosporine shows significant improvement in DES with MGD than the control *** contrast,the nano-cyclosporine group shows more statistically improved CI and CS at 4wk,especially LLT at 4,8,and 12wk compared to the conventional cyclosporine group.

目的分析影响不稳定心绞痛(Unstable Angina,UA)老年住院患者经皮冠状动脉介入术(Percutaneous Coronary Intervention,PCI)后生活质量的影响因素。方法采用方便抽样方法选取部分UA老年住院患者进行调查。采用多元线性回归模型分析影响UA老年住院患者PCI术后生活质量的主要因素,采用方差分析、Pearson相关分析法分析其生活质量得分与健康素养各项得分间的关系。结果UA老年住院患者PCI术后生活质量平均得分为(103.76±14.38)分。多元线性回归分析结果显示,年龄>79岁(β=5.829)、初中及以下文化程度(β=5.264)、家庭人均月收入<3000元(β=4.064)、非医保付费方式(β=7.103)、无运动训练(β=6.182)、未规律服药(β=8.176)是影响UA老年住院患者PCI术后生活质量的主要因素(P<0.05)。方差分析结果显示,UA老年住院患者的信息获取能力、交流互动能力、改善健康意愿、经济支持意愿得分均随其生活质量评分降低而降低(P<0.05)。Pearson相关分析结果显示,UA老年住院患者信息获取能力、交流互动能力、改善健康意愿、经济支持意愿各维度得分均与其生活质量评分呈正相关(P<0.05)。结论影响UA老年住院患者PCI术后生活质量的因素较多,且生活质量与其健康素养各项得分均呈正相关。

We investigated the impact of tuning the length scale of the background error covariance in the Weather Research and Forecasting （WRF） three-dimensional variational assimilation （3DVAR） system. In particular, we studied the effect of this parameter on the assimilation of high-resolution surface data for heavy rainfall forecasts associated with mesoscale convective systems over the Korean Peninsula. In the assimilation of high-resolution surface data, the National Meteorological Center method tended to exaggerate the length scale that determined the shape and extent to which observed information spreads out. In this study, we used the difference between observation and background data to tune the length scale in the assimilation of high-resolution surface data. The resulting assimilation clearly showed that the analysis with the tuned length scale was able to reproduce the small-scale features of the ideal field effectively. We also investigated the effect of a double-iteration method with two different length scales, representing large and small-length scales in the WRF-3DVAR. This method reflected the large and small-scale features of observed information in the model fields. The quantitative accuracy of the precipitation forecast using this double iteration with two different length scales for heavy rainfall was high; results were in good agreement with observations in terms of the maximum rainfall amount and equitable threat scores. The improved forecast in the experiment resulted from the development of well-identified mesoscale convective systems by intensified low-level winds and their consequent convergence near the rainfall area.

为筛选出沙地云杉(Picea mongolica)种子成熟过程中均可稳定表达的内参基因,本研究以沙地云杉种子不同发育时期的样本为研究对象,采用RT-qPCR技术,检测沙地云杉种子转录组数据库中GAPDH、EF1α、CYC、Actin等8个候选内参基因在种子发育过程中呈现的综合表达水平,并通过内参基因分析软件(geNorm,NormFinder,BestKeeper)对其稳定性统一评估。结果表明,候选内参基因中稳定性最好的是CYC、EF1α和GAPDH。分别以CYC、EF1α和GAPDH作为内参基因对沙地云杉胚胎发育关键调控基因LEA1(Late embryogenesis abundant protein)和WOX9 (WUSCHEL related homebox)进行了定量分析,其表达趋势基本一致。本研究结果将对沙地云杉及近缘物种的分子育种研究提供参考。

Convolutional Neural Network-Based Regression for Predicting the Chloride Ion Diffusion Coefficient of Concrete

The durability performance of reinforced concrete(RC)building structures is significantly affected by the corrosion of the steel reinforcement due to chloride penetration,thus,the chloride ion diffusion coefficient should be investigated through experiments or theoretical equations to assess the durability of an RC *** study aims to predict the chloride ion diffusion coefficient of concrete,a heterogeneous material.A convolutional neural network(CNN)-based regression model that learns the condition of the concrete surface through deep learning,is developed to efficiently obtain the chloride ion diffusion *** the model implementation to determine the chloride ion diffusion coefficient,concrete mixes with w/c ratios of 0.33,0.40,0.46,0.50,0.62,and 0.68,are cured for 28 days;subsequently,the surface image data of the specimens are ***,the proposed model predicts the chloride ion diffusion coefficient using the concrete surface image data and exhibits an error of approximately 1.5E−12 m^(2)/*** results suggest the applicability of proposed model to the field of facility maintenance for estimating the chloride ion diffusion coefficient of concrete using images.

Background This study investigated the efficacy and safety of nusinersen,an antisense oligonucleotide,in patients with spinal muscular atrophy(SMA)types II(OMIM:253,550)or III(OMIM:253,400),including those with severe scoliosis or requiring respiratory support via mechanical *** Data from 40 patients with genetically confirmed SMA who were treated with nusinersen at our institute from March 2019 to April 2022 were retrospectively *** these,30 patients with an age of onsetharacteristics were investigated,and motor function was evaluated based on the hammersmith Functional Motor Scale-Expanded(HFMSE)*** The mean age of symptom onset was 1.2 *** patients were diagnosed with SMA type II(27/30,90%).Nusinersen was administered via computed tomography-guided or direct intrathecal injection in 87%(26/30)and 13%(4/30)of the patients,*** the 6-,14-,22-,and 26-month follow-ups,72%,71%,88%,and 86%of patients showed motor improvement,respectively,with mean changes in HFMSE scores of 2.10,2.88,4.21,and 5.29,*** analysis showed that the use of noninvasive ventilation was associated with poorer outcomes of motor *** Patients with SMA type II or III who received nusinersen treatment showed significant improvement in motor function.A longer treatment duration led to a higher number of patients with improved motor *** significant side effects of nusinersen were *** with SMA,even those with severe scoliosis or on respiratory support,can be safely treated using nusinersen.
