Wind-induced vibration energy harvesting has a great potential for utilizing wind energy to supply power for low-powered *** improve the working performance of energy harvesters effectively,a suitable structural design is *** paper proposes a dual-beam piezo-magneto-elastic wake-induced vibration energy harvesting system to enhance the functional performance of aeroelastic energy harvesters in environments with variable wind *** system contains two piezoelectric beams coupled by magnets(forming upstream and downstream energy harvesters),and each beam is attached with a foam cylinder.A corresponding dynamic model is provided,and output characteristics are obtained at different wind *** and experimental verification indicate that both upstream and downstream energy harvesters can realize efficient energy *** the wind speed exceeds a certain critical value,the amplitudes of the system’s displacement and voltage are *** wind speed threshold value is approximately 1.25 m/*** the wind speed and magnet spacing are 10.2 m/s and 20 mm,respectively,the output power of the system reaches 4.9×10^(−4)***,the wind speed threshold value of the proposed system can be adjusted by an equivalent nonlinear restoring force.

A natural extension of the Lorentz transformation to its complex version was constructed together with a parallel extension of the minkowski m4 model for special relativity (SR) to complex C4 space-time. As the [signed] absolute values of complex coordinates of the underlying motion’s characterization in C4 one obtains a Newtonian-like type of motion whereas as the real parts of the complex motion’s description and of the complex Lorentz transformation, all the SR theory as modeled by m4 real space-time can be recovered. This means all the SR theory is preserved in the real subspace m4 of the space-time C4 while becoming simpler and clearer in the new complex model’s framework. Since velocities in the complex model can be determined geometrically, with no primary use of time, time turns out to be definable within the equivalent theory of the reduced complex C4 model to the C3 “para-space” model. That procedure allows us to separate time from the (para)space and consider all the SR theory as a theory of C3 alone. On the other hand, the complex time defined within the C3 theory is interpreted and modeled by the single separate C1 complex plane. The possibility for application of the C3 model to quantum mechanics is suggested. As such, the model C3 seems to have unifying abilities for application to different physical theories.

Complex model, say C3, of “para-space” as alternative to the real m4 minkowski space-time for both relativistic and classical mechanics was shortly introduced as reference to our previous works on that subject. The actual aim, however, is an additional analysis of the physical and para-physical phenomena’ behavior as we formally transport observable mechanical phenomena [motion] to non-real interior of the complex domain. As it turns out, such procedure, when properly set, corresponds to transition from relativistic to more classic (or, possibly, just classic) kind of the motion. This procedure, we call the “Newtonization of relativistic physical quantities and phenomena”, first of all, includes the mechanical motion’s characteristics in the C3. The algebraic structure of vector spaces was imposed and analyzed on both: the set of all relativistic velocities and on the set of the corresponding to them “Galilean” velocities. The key point of the analysis is realization that, as a matter of fact, the relativistic theory and the classical are equivalent at least as for the kinematics. This conclusion follows the fact that the two defined structures of topological vector spaces i.e., the structure imposed on sets of all relativistic velocities and the structure on set of all “Galilean” velocities, are both diffeomorphic in their topological parts and are isomorphic as the vector spaces. As for the relativistic theory, the two approaches: the hyperbolic (“classical” SR) with its four-vector formalism and Euclidean, where SR is modeled by the complex para-space C3, were analyzed and compared.

There are two algebraic lower bounds of the number of n-periodic points of a self-map f : m → m of a compact smooth manifold of dimension at least 3: NF_n(f) = min{#Fix(g^n); g ～ f; g continuous} and NJD_n(f) = min{#Fix(g^n); g ～ f; g smooth}. In general, NJD_n(f) may be much greater than NF_n(f). We show that for a self-map of a semi-simple Lie group, inducing the identity fundamental group homomorphism,the equality NF_n(f) = NJD_n(f) holds for all n ? all eigenvalues of a quotient cohomology homomorphism induced by f have moduli 1.

The abe-conjecture for the ring of integers states that, for every ε 〉 0 and every triple of relatively prime nonzero integers （a, b, c） satisfying a ＋ b = c, we have max（｜a｜, ｜b｜, ｜c｜）〈 rad（abc）^1＋ε with a finite number of exceptions. Here the radical rad（m） is the product of all distinct prime factors of m. In the present paper we propose an abe-conjecture for the field of all algebraic numbers. It is based on the definition of the radical （in Section 1） and of the height （in Section 2） of an algebraic number. From this abc-conjecture we deduce some versions of Fermat＇s last theorem for the field of all algebraic numbers, and we discuss from this point of view known results on solutions of Fermat＇s equation in fields of small degrees over Q.

In general, NJDn（f） may be much greater than NFn（f）. If m is a torus, then the invariants are equal. We show that for a self-map of a nonabelian compact Lie group, with free fundamental group, the equality holds 〈=〉 all eigenvalues of a quotient cohomology homomorphism induced by f have moduli ≤ 1.

BACKGROUND The overall risk of de novo malignancies in kidney transplant recipients(KTRs)is higher than that in the general *** is associated with long-lasting exposure to immunosuppressive agents and impaired oncological vigilance due to chronic kidney *** cancer(CRC),frequently diagnosed in an advanced stage,is one of the most common malignancies in this cohort and is associated with poor ***,because of the scarcity of data concerning adjuvant chemotherapy in this group,there are no clear guidelines for the specific management of the CRCs in *** present a patient who lost her transplanted kidney shortly after initiation of adjuvant chemotherapy for colon *** SUmmARY A 36-year-old woman with a medical history of kidney transplantation(2005)because of end-stage kidney disease,secondary to chronic glomerular nephritis,and long-term immunosuppression was diagnosed with locally advanced pT_(4A)N_(1B) m_(0)(clinical stage Ⅲ)colon adenocarcinoma *** right hemicolectomy,the patient was qualified to receive adjuvant chemotherapy that consisted of oxaliplatin,leucovorin and 5-fluorouracil(FOLFOX-4).The deterioration of kidney graft function after two cycles caused chemotherapy cessation and initiation ofhemodialysis therapy after a few months. Shortly after that, the patient started palliativechemotherapy because of cancer recurrence with intraperitoneal *** of adjuvant chemotherapy for colon cancer increases the risk of rapid kidney graft lossdriven also by under-immunosuppression。

The performance of engineered wood products is highly associated with proper bonding and an efﬁcient cutting *** paper investigates the inﬂuence of CO_(2) laser cutting on the wetting properties,the modiﬁed che-mical component of the laser-cut surface,and the strength and adhesive penetration near the ***-wood is cut by the laser with varying processing parameters,cutting speeds,gas pressures,and focal point *** laser-cut samples were divided into two groups,sanded and non-sanded *** acetate adhesive(PVAc)was used to bond the groups of laser-cut *** assembly with cold pressing,the tensile shear test was carried *** modelling was carried out to determine the partial elongation and shear strain of the glue *** on this,the shear modulus and linear elasticity of the glue line were ***-ning electron microscopy was used to assess the adhesive penetration into the porosity structure of the laser-cut samples,and the depth of the heat-affected *** laser-cut surface was analysed by Fourier transform infrared *** wetting properties of the laser-cut surface were investigated by using a contact angle *** numerical model of the strain-stress curve conﬁrmed the experimental *** highest modulus of the linear elasticity of the glue in the numerical calculation belongs to the joint containing laser-cut samples at a gas pressure of 21(bar).The penetration depth of PVAc adhesive into the porosity structure of the laser-cut sam-ples was similar to that of sawn *** deepest heat-affected zone in the laser-cut samples was 150µm.A PVAc drop disappeared immediately on the laser-cut surface without sanding,but gradually on the sanded *** contrast,the drop on the sawn surface remained with an angle of 32°–48°.The degradation of hemi-cellulose and lignin was proven by the lower intensity of the C=O and C-O Bonds,compared to the sawn surface.
