Dual hepatitis C virus(HCV)/hepatitis B virus(HBV)infection is found in HBV or HCV endemic areas,and in specific populations exhibiting a high risk of parenteral viral *** observations have revealed that HCV/HBV dually infected patients demonstrate a higher risk of liver disease progression compared with HBV or HCV monoinfected *** viral activity responsible for liver disease progression can be determined by examining the viral loads of HCV and HBV and by conducting liver biopsy *** trials have confirmed that the combination therapy of peginterferon alpha-2a or 2b and ribavirin for dual hepatitis patients with HCV dominance appears to be as effective and safe as it is in patients with HCV ***,approximately 60% of dually infected patients with inactive hepatitis B before treatment develop HBV reactivation after the clearance of the *** clinical significance of this HBV reactivation and the strategy to prevent and treat this event should be ***,approximately 30%of dually infected patients lost hepatitis B surface antigen(HBsAg)within 5 years after the start of peginterferonbased therapy,and 40%of them harbored occult HBV *** underlying mechanisms of their accelerating HBsAg seroclearance and the development of occult HBV await further ***,the optimal treatment strategies for dually infected patients who are seropositive for the hepatitis B e antigen must be ***,the advent of new direct-acting antiviral-based anti-HCV therapy may change the optimal therapies for patients with dual hepatitis in the near future,which warrants further clinical trials.

The study in this paper is focusing on trajectories of particles in the irrotational progressive water waves coexisting with uniform current. The parametric equations of particle trajectories over a range of levels in a Lagrangian type of description are developed analytically via the euler-Lagrange transformation. The Lagrangian wave period of particle motion differing from the eulerian wave period and the mass transport can also be obtained directly. The third-order solution of particle trajectory exhibits that they do not move in closed orbital motion but represent a net movement that decreases exponentially with the water depth. Uniform current is found to have significant effect on the trajectories and drift velocity of gravity waves. Overall, the influence of increased uniform current is to increase the relative horizontal distance traveled by a particle, as well as the magnitude of the time-averaged drift velocity on the free surface. For adverse current cases, a reverse behavior is found. The obtained third-order solutions satisfy the irrotational condition contrasted to the Gerstner waves and are verified by reducing to those of two-dimensional gravity waves in Lagrangian coordinates.

Most hematopoietic stem progenitor cells (HSPCs) reside in bone marrow (BM), but a small amount of HSPCs have been found to circulate between BM and tissues through blood and lymph. Several lines of evidence suggest that sphingosine-1-phosphate (S1P) gradient triggers HSPC egression to blood circulation after mobilization from BM stem cell niches. Stem cells also visit certain tissues. After a temporary 36 h short stay in local tissues, HSPCs go to lymph in response to S1P gradient between lymph and tissue and eventually enter the blood circulation. S1P also has a role in the guidance of the primitive HSPCs homing to BM in vivo, as S1P analogue FTY720 treatment can improve HSPC BM homing and engraftment. in stress conditions, various stem cells or progenitor cells can be attracted to local injured tissues and participate in local tissue cell differentiation and tissue rebuilding through modulation the expression level of S1P1, S1P2 or S1P3 receptors. Hence, S1P is important for stem cells circulation in blood system to accomplish its role in body surveillance and injury recovery.

AiM： To investigate dose-response and time-course of the effects of ethanol on the cell viability and antioxidant capacity in isolated rat hepatocytes. MeTHODS： Hepatocytes were isolated from male adult Wistar rats and seeded into 100-mm dishes. Hepatocytes were treated with ethanol at concentrations between 0 （C）, 10 （e10）, 50 （e50）, and 100 （e100） mmol/L （dose response） for 12, 24, and 36 h （time course）. Then, lactate dehydrogenase （LDH） leakage, malondialdehyde （iDA） concentration, glutathione （GSH） level, and activities of glutathione peroxidase （GPX）, glutathione reductase （GRD）, superoxide dismutase （SOD）, and catalase （CAT） were measured. ReSULTS： Our data revealed that LDH leakage was significantly increased by about 30% in group e100 over those in groups C and e10 at 24 and 36 h, The HDA concentration in groups C, e10 and e50 were significantly lower than that in group e100 at 36 h. Furthermore, the concentration of iDA in group e100 at 36 h was significantly higher by 4.5- and 1.7-fold, respectively, than that at 12 and 24 h. On the other hand, the GSH level in group e100 at 24 and 36 h was significantly decreased, by 32% and 28%, respectively, compared to that at 12 h. The activities of GRD and CAT in group e100 at 36 h were significantly less than those in groups C and e10. However, The GPX and SOD activities showed no significant change in each group. CONCLUSiON： These results suggest that longtime incubation with higher concentration of ethanol （100 mmol/L） decreased the cell viability by means of reducing GRD and CAT activities and increasing lipid peroxidation.

Glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency is the most common enzymopathy worldwide. The precise prevalence of G6PD is unknown in Burkina Faso. The objective of the study was to describe the difficulties to diagnose this disease at the Souro Sanou University hospital (CHUSS) in Bobo-Dioulasso. it involved five patients comprising one child with homozygous SS sickle cell disease, one adolescent screened following a family investigation, and three adults including a man and two women. Blood smear stained with May Grunwald Giemsa was performed to look for specific signs of G6PD-deficient red blood cell and brilliant cresyl Blue for Heinz Bodies. A microscope Olympus BX53 equipped with a Camera (XC10) and connected to a computer was used to read blood smears and capture images. Genes sequencing by Sanger method were performed in a specialized laboratory in molecular genetics. For each analysis, the protocol and instructions of the equipment and reagent manufacturer were applied. Of the five patients, three had anemia and only one had hyperreticulocytosis. Two patients had biological signs of hemolysis and one patient had an elevated CRP. Blood smear stained with MGG and cresyl blue showed specific signs of G6PD-deficient red blood cells and Heinz bodies in all patients. Biochemical analysis and molecular typing confirmed G6PD deficiency. The presence of G6PD-deficient red blood cells in the blood smear guides the diagnosis of G6PD deficiency. The diagnosis is biochemical and is based on the combined measurement of G6PD plus pyruvate kinase and/or hexokinase.

目的检测β连环素(β-catenin)和锌指e盒结合的同源盒蛋白1(ZeB1)分子在膀胱癌组织中的表达,分析二者的关联及其在膀胱癌发生、发展中的作用。方法收集79例手术切除的膀胱癌组织标本,应用enVision免疫组化检测β-catenin、ZeB1蛋白的表达及分布。分析二者的相关性,并探讨其与患者临床病理特征之间的关系。结果β-catenin在膀胱癌组织中的表达具有明显的异质性,可分布在胞膜、胞质或胞核内,在较低临床分期和较低病理分级膀胱癌中主要以胞膜和胞质表达为主,而在较高临床分期和较高病理分级膀胱癌中主要以胞质和胞核表达为主;ZeB1在膀胱癌组织中表达主要位于胞核中,并且表达强度随着肿瘤病理分级和临床分期的增加而升高,二者表达具有明显的相关性。结论膀胱癌组织中β-catenin和ZeB1的异常表达与肿瘤临床分期、病理分级及有无淋巴结转移相关,且β-catenin和ZeB1的表达具有明显的相关性,二者联合应用,对膀胱癌的准确诊断和预后分析有一定价值。
