AIM To assess the performance of proposed scores specific for acute-on-chronic liver failure in predicting shortterm mortality among patients with alcoholic *** We retrospectively collected data from 264 patients with clinically diagnosed alcoholic hepatitis from January to December 2013 at 21 academic hospitals in Korea. The performance for predicting short-term mortality was calculated for Chronic Liver FailureSequential Organ Failure Assessment(CLIF-SOFA), CLIF Consortium Organ Failure score(CLIF-C OFs), Maddrey'sdiscriminant function(DF), age, bilirubin, international normalized ratio and creatinine score(ABIC), Glasgow Alcoholic Hepatitis Score(GAHS), model for end-stage liver disease(MELD), and *** Of 264 patients, 32(12%) patients died within 28 d. The area under receiver operating characteristic curve of CLIF-SOFA, CLIF-C OFs, DF, ABIC, GAHS, MELD, and MELD-Na was 0.86(0.81-0.90), 0.89(0.84-0.92), 0.79(0.74-0.84), 0.78(0.72-0.83), 0.81(0.76-0.86), 0.83(0.78-0.88), and 0.83(0.78-0.88), respectively, for 28-d mortality. The performance of CLIF-SOFA had no statistically significant differences for 28-d mortality. The performance of CLIF-C OFs was superior to that of DF, ABIC, and GAHS, while comparable to that of MELD and MELD-Na in predicting 28-d mortality. A CLIF-SOFA score of 8 had 78.1% sensitivity and 79.7% specificity, and CLIF-C OFs of 10 had 68.8% sensitivity and 91.4% specificity for predicting 28-d *** CLIF-SOFA and CLIF-C OF scores performed well, with comparable predictive ability for short-term mortality compared to the commonly used scoring systems in patients with alcoholic hepatitis.

Chimeric plants composed of green and albino tissues have great ornamental *** unveil the functional genes responsible for albino phenotypes in chimeric plants,we inspected the complete plastid genomes(plastomes)in green and albino leaf tissues from 23 ornamental chimeric plants belonging to 20 species,including monocots,dicots,and *** nine chimeric plants,plastomes were identical between green and albino ***,another 14 chimeric plants were heteroplasmic,showing a mutation between green and albino *** identified 14 different point mutations in eight functional plastid genes related to plastid-encoded RNA polymerase(rpo)or photosystems which caused albinism in the chimeric *** them,12 were deleterious mutations in the target genes,in which early termination appeared due to small deletion-mediated frameshift or single nucleotide *** was single nucleotide substitution in an intron of the ycf3 and the other was a missense mutation in coding region of the rpoC2 *** inspected chlorophyll structure,protein functional model of the rpoC2,and expression levels of the related genes in green and albino tissues of Reynoutria japonica.A single amino acid change,histidine-to-proline substitution,in the rpoC2 protein may destabilize the peripheral helix of plastid-encoded RNA polymerase,impairing the biosynthesis of the photosynthesis system in the albino tissue of *** chimera plant.

This paper presents the chatter vibration avoidance method in high speed milling. Chatter vibrations have a bad influence on surface integrity and tool life. So how to get the cutting conditions without chatter vibration is very important. In order to get stable cutting condition, too many parameters are required. So this paper focuses on simplification and real-time control of chatter avoidance program. The developed method uses only microphone signal for chatter vibration sensing. The measuring signal is analyzed by FFT (Fast Fourier transform) method to get whether or not the chatter vibration is generated on cutting condition. If chatter vibration occurs, the developed program suggests stable cutting speed in real time with tool teeth number, damping ratio and chatter frequency. This suggested that the program reliability is confirmed by dynamic cutting forces and surface profiles.

At present,natural orifice specimen extraction surgery(NOSES)has attracted more and more attention worldwide,because of its great advantages including minimal cutaneous trauma and post-operative pain,fast post-operative recovery,short hospital stay,and positive psychological ***,NOSES for the treatment of gastric cancer(GC)is still in its infancy,and there is great potential to improve its theoretical system and clinical ***,several key points including oncological outcomes,bacteriological concerns,indication selection,and standardized surgical procedures are raised with this innovative ***,it is necessary to achieve an international consensus to regulate the implementation of GC-NOSES,which is of great significance for healthy and orderly development of NOSES worldwide.

尽管已知来自星形胶质细胞的ATP和/或腺苷可调节睡眠,但ATP和腺苷促眠作用的确切机制仍不清楚。我们在参与睡眠促进的重要脑核腹外侧视前核(VLPO)内的星形胶质细胞中选择性表达光敏离子通道视紫红质通道2(ChR2)。然后,我们用全细胞膜片钳记录检查了光刺激星形细胞ChR2对VLPO两种不同功能类型的神经元兴奋性的影响:分别为促进睡眠的GABA能投射神经元和非促进睡眠的局部GABA能神经元。VLPO星形胶质细胞的光遗传学刺激在两种类型的VLPO神经元中表现出相反的结果:导致了非睡眠促进神经元的抑制和睡眠促进神经元的兴奋。通过阻断腺苷A1受体或组织非特异性碱性磷酸酶(TNAP)可减弱这些反应。相反,外源性腺苷降低了两个VLPO神经元群的兴奋性。此外,TNAP在甘丙肽阴性的VLPO神经元中表达,但在甘丙肽阳性促进睡眠的投射神经元中不表达。总之,这些结果表明星形胶质细胞源性的ATP在非睡眠促进神经元中通过TNAP转化为腺苷。腺苷进而降低了局部GABA能神经元的兴奋性,从而增加了促进睡眠的GABA能投射神经元的兴奋性。我们提出了一种涉及星形胶质细胞-神经元相互作用在睡眠调节中的新机制,其中来自星形胶质细胞的内源性腺苷激发促进睡眠的VLPO神经元,从而降低大脑中与唤醒相关区域的神经元兴奋性。

在薄膜固体氧化物燃料电池中,为增加发生电化学反应的三相界面面积,燃料极和空气极通常制备成离子-电子混合传导性质的多孔形态。该研究将燃料极电化学反应(氢氧化反应)的催化剂——镍(Ni)和氧离子传导性好的氧化钪稳定的氧化锆(ScSZ)混合制备成离子-电子混合传导燃料极。实验结果显示,与纯Ni燃料极相比,所制备的Ni/ScSZ燃料极因其三相界面面积的增加,可显著降低极化电阻,但同时欧姆电阻也显著增加,从而最终导致燃料电池单池性能总体下降。
