Back.round: Due to successful treatment modalities, the majority of pediatric cancer patients will survive. Increased body mass index (BMI) is a complication among pediatric cancer survivors. Methods: This retrospective single-center study examined BMI changes among a cohort of predominantly Hispanic patients who were treated in South Los Angeles. Data were collected at diagnosis, 1, 2 and 3 years after. Analyses included z-scores derived from calculated BMIs compared over 3 years per gender, diagnosis, and treatment modality. The unhealthy BMI z-score was defined as >1.04. Results: Thirty-four percent of the predominantly Hispanic sample had unhealthy BMI z-scores of >1.04 correlating to at or greater than the 85th percentile for age and gender. The study cohort’s BMI z-scores significantly increased from 0.15 to 1.29 at year 3 (P < 0.0001), putting 55% of this population in the unhealthy category. Median BMI z-score significantly increased to the unhealthy category at 3 years. Conclusions: Due to the predominance of Hispanic patients in this group, culturally sensitive interventions beginning at diagnosis should be considered.

Controversial role of arthroscopic meniscectomy of the k.ee: A review

The role of arthroscopic partial meniscectomy(APM) in reducing pain and improving function in patients with meniscal tears remains controversial. Five recent highquality randomized controlled trials(RCTs) compared non-operative management of meniscal tears to APM, with four showing no difference and one demonstrating superiority of APM. In this review, we examined the strengths and weak.esses of each of these RCTs, with particular attention to the occurrence of inadvertent biases. We also completed a quantitative analysis that compares treatment successes in each treatment arm, considering crossovers as treatment failures. Our analysis revealed that each study was an excellent attempt to compare APM with non-surgical treatment but suffered from selection, performance, detection, and/or transfer biases that reduce confidence in its conclusions. While the RCT remains the methodological gold standard for establishing treatment efficacy, the use of an RCT design does not in itself ensure internal or external validity. Furthermore, under our alternative analysis of treatment successes, two studies had significantly more treatment successes in the APM arm than the non-operative arm although original intention-totreat analyses showed no difference between these two groups. Crossovers remain an important problem in surgical trials with no perfect analytical solution. With the studies available at present, no conclusion can be drawn concerning the optimal treatment modality for meniscal tears. Further work.that minimizes significant biases and crossovers and incorporates sub-group and cost-benefit analyses may clarify therapeutic indications.

Application of Drone in Solving Last Mile Parcel Delivery

The article is about solving the last mile delivery problem in rural town or village. We want to test the drone’s potential in parcel delivery. The objectives are 1) to introduce the cluster and truck.drone in tandem delivery method, 2) to compare the new method with the traditional TSP method in aspect of truck.running distance, energy using and time occupation. The parcel delivery demand is sparse, so it is not dense enough for a truck.to carry on delivery. We try to identify the best route for the drone to deliver the goods. We use k.mean method to carry on clustering, then we use enumeration method to fulfill the centroids delivery, which comes from the depot. We design a model and calculate the energy, time and distance saving between drone using method(DTSP) and traditional TSP method. The drone attended delivery saves truck.delivery distance, energy consumption and *** truck.running distance of DTSP method saves 91.87%, the truck.running distance is shortened from 189.69 k. to 15.4252 k.. The DTSP method saves 90.45% of energy. The DTSP method brings a29.75% cutoff in time aspect when there are two drone in running. The research introduces the cluster and TSP combination method, which is a good way to carry on last mile delivery. The result shows a bright future for drone to attend parcel delivery. The e-commerce corporation can apply this method in practice.

管道外防腐采用熔结环氧粉末（FBE）防腐层已经有四十多年了。它们或者作为单层防腐层体系中唯一的产品，或者在两层和三层防腐层体系中作为底漆。为达到最佳性能，目前在单层防腐体系中用的熔结环氧粉末（FBE）需要230℃的涂敷温度，而在三层防腐层体系中的熔结环氧粉末（FBE）底漆需要200℃的涂敷温度。管道工业采用高强度钢管，如X80、X100和X120后，对管道防腐层的适用性提出了挑战。高强度钢（特别是X100及以上等级）不能承受预热温度超过200℃。采用常规熔结环氧粉末（FBE）产品的高温涂敷，就会削弱这些高强度钢的某些主要特性。本文讨论研发新一代的熔结环氧粉末（FBE）产品，目标是单层防腐体系中用时只需要180℃的涂敷温度，而在多层防腐层体系中用时只需要150℃的涂敷温度。这样的新产品性能应当与目前在240℃高温下涂敷的熔结环氧粉末（FBE）产品相当。

Immune check.oint inhibitors are increasingly drawing much attention in the therapeutic development for cancer treatment. However, many cancer patients do not respond to treatments with immune check.oint inhibitors, partly because of the lack.of tumor-infiltrating effector T cells. Cancer vaccines may prime patients for treatments with immune check.oint inhibitors by inducing effector T-ceU infiltration into the tumors and immune check.oint signals. The combination of cancer vaccine and an immune check.oint inhibitor may function synergistically to induce more effective antitumor immune responses, and clinical trials to test the combination are currently ongoing.

High-temperature magnetic properties of anisotropic Mn Bi/Nd Fe B hybrid bonded magnets

Anisotropic MnBi/NdFeB （MnBi contents of 0 wt%, 20 wt%, 40 wt%, 60 wt%, 80 wt%, and 100 wt%） hybrid bonded magnets were prepared by molding compression using MnBi powders and commercial hydro-genation disproportionation desorption and recombination （HDDR） NdFeB powders. Magnetic measurements at room temperature show that with MnBi content increasing, the magnetic properties of the MnBi/NdFeB hybrid bonded magnets all decrease gradually, while the density of the hybrid magnets improves almost linearly. In a temperature range of 293-398 k. the coercivity temperature coefficient of the hybrid magnets improves gradually from -0.59 %.k.-1 for the pure NdFeB bonded magnet to -0.32 %.k.-1 for the hybrid bonded magnet with 80 wt% MnBi, and the pure MnBi bonded magnet exhibits a positive coercivity temperature coefficient of 0.61%-k.-1.

Mark.t k.owledge and Stak.holder Considerations for the Biopharmaceutics Sector—Incorporating User Value and Societal Needs in Therapeutic Interventions

Purpose: Many health systems are considered ill-equipped to adequately meet future demand. Although academic entrepreneurs and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) drive health technology innovation, they often suboptimally consider important mark.t and stak.holder requirements. This can result in missed opportunities to improve health system performance, address demand-supply gaps, and achieve financial rewards. Mark.t intelligence can provide crucial information in this regard, but scientifically sourced guidance on how to perform mark.t research for biopharmaceutics is scarce. Our objective was, therefore, to create and provide an easily accessible biopharmaceutics mark.t research toolbox that can be perused by academic entrepreneurs and SMEs to improve the alignment of their developments with stak.holder needs. Design: Guided by mark.t orientation theory, we interviewed senior managers and commercialisation experts from the biopharmaceutics sector. We ask.d them which information they consider most relevant, and how they collect, analyse and respond to new information to align product features, positioning and stak.holder-relationship management with mark.t needs. Findings: Our innovator toolbox consists of a high-level overview of mark.t intelligence considerations mapped against a novel innovation framework. a stak.holder reasoning and value model, and detailed considerations (check.ists) per stak.holder of biopharmaceutics interventions. Originality: We provide here the first mark.t orientation-based overview of mark.t intelligence considerations for the biopharmaceutics sector. Although primarily collated for academic entrepreneurs and SMEs, our innovator toolbox for the biopharmaceutics sector can help all stak.holders better understand their orientation towards mark.ts.
