This pape. studie. the.re.uspe.sion of e. coli and Liste.ia from be. se.ime.t into irrigation wate. through se.e.al se.s of laboratory e.pe.ime.ts in an ope. channe. flume. We.studie. thre. type. of se.ime.ts using se.e.al flow rate. in diffe.e.t ve.ocitie. and she.r stre.s. Bacte.ia’s conce.tration in wate. incre.se. with the.be. she.r stre.s. Two e.pirical re.ations we.e.de.ive. to corre.ate.the.conce.tration of e. coli and L. monocytoge.e. with the.dime.sionle.s be. she.r stre.s. The.e.pe.ime.tal data favorably ve.ifie. the.re.ationships for sandy loam, loamy sand, and loam. The.re.ults showe. that both bacte.ia could e.train from sand more.e.ficie.tly compare. to othe. se.ime.ts(i.e., sandy loam or loam). The.e.re.ationships can be.applie. to wate. quality mode.s for simulating e. coli and L. monocytoge.e. transport in irrigation canals for be.te. managing irrigation wate. quality.

Supe.vise. image.classification te.hnique.using Maximum Like.ihood Classifie. (MLC) was use. to cre.te.base.map which was the. use. for ground truthing. Ran-dom Fore.t (RF) classification te.hnique.using RF classifie. was utilize. in this study to ge.e.ate.the.final land use.land cove. map. RF is an e.-se.ble.le.rning me.hod for classification that ope.ate. by constructing a multitude.of de.ision tre.s at training time.and outputting the.class that is the.mode.of the.classe. AIM To e.aluate.the.value.of pre.tre.tme.t 18F-FDG Pe./CT in patie.ts with HCC following live. *** We.ide.tifie. 34 patie.ts with HCC who unde.we.t an FDG Pe./CT scan prior to he.atic radioe.bolization at our institution be.we.n 2009 and 2013. Patie.ts we.e.e.n in clinic one.month afte. radioe.bolization and the. at 2-3 mo inte.vals. We.asse.se. the.influe.ce.of FDG tumor uptake.on outcome. including local live. control(LLC), distant live. control(DLC), time.to distant me.astase.(DM), progre.sion fre. survival(PFS) and ove.all survival(OS).Re.ULTS The.majority of patie.ts we.e.male.(n = 25, 74%), and had Child Pugh Class A(n = 31, 91%), with a me.ian age.of 68 ye.rs(46-84 ye.rs). FDG-avid dise.se.was found in 19(56%) patie.ts with SUVmax ranging from 3 to 20. Fe.ale.patie.ts we.e.more.like.y to have.an FDG-avid HCC(P = 0.02). Me.ian follow up of patie.ts following radioe.bolization was 12 months(1.2-62.8 mo). FDG-avid dise.se.was associate. with a de.re.se. 1 ye.r LLC, DLC, DM and PFS(P e.analysis, FDG avidity pre.icte. for LLC, DLC, and PFS(all P e.rospe.tive.study, pre.tre.tme.t HCC FDGavidity was found to be.associate. with worse.LLC, DLC, and PFS following radioe.bolization. Large. studie. are.ne.de. to validate.our initial findings to asse.s the.role.of F-18-FDG Pe./CT scans as biomarke. for patie.ts with HCC following radioe.bolization.
