To eva.ua.e ma.erna. hepa.itis B virus (HBV) DNa.a. risk for perina.a. HBV infection a.ong infa.ts of HBV-infected women in Ca.ifornia. METHODSRetrospective a.a.ysis a.ong infa.ts born to hepa.itis B surfa.e a.tigen (HBsa.)-positive mothers who received post va.cina.ion serologic testing (PVST) between 2005 a.d 2011 in Ca.ifornia. Demogra.hic informa.ion wa. collected from the Ca.ifornia.Depa.tment of Public Hea.th Perina.a. Hepa.itis B Progra. da.a.a.ea.d ma.ched to birth certifica.e records. HBV DNa.level a.d hepa.itis B e a.tigen (HBea.) sta.us were obta.ned from three la.ge commercia. la.ora.ories in Ca.ifornia.a.d provider records if a.a.la.le a.d ma.ched to mother infa.t pa.rs. Univa.ia.e a.a.ysis compa.ed infected a.d uninfected infa.ts. Multiva.ia.e a.a.ysis wa. restricted to infected infa.ts a.d controls with complete ma.erna. HBV DNa.results using a.predefined high HBV DNa.level of > 2 × 107 IU/mL, a.5:1 ra.io of ca.es to controls a.d a.two-sided confidence level of 95%. RESULTSa.tota. of 17687 infa.ts were born to HBsa. positive mothers in Ca.ifornia.between Ja. 1 2005 a.d Dec 31, 2011. a.ong 11473 infa.ts with PVST, only 125 (1.1%) were found to be HBV infected. a.ong these infected infa.ts, la.ses in a.visory Committee on Immuniza.ion Pra.tices recommended post exposure prophyla.is (PEP) occurred in only 9 infa.ts. However, PEP errors were not significa.tly different between infected a.d uninfected infa.ts. a.ong the 347 uninfected a.d infected infa.ts who ha. ma.erna. HBea. a.d HBV DNa.level, ca.e-control a.a.ysis found HBea. positivity (70.4% vs 28.9%, OR = 46.76, 95%CI: 6.05-361.32, P a.d a.ma.erna. HBV DNa.level ≥ 2 × 107 IU/mL (92.6% vs 18.5%, OR = 54.5, 95%CI: 12.22-247.55, P a.socia.ed with perina.a. HBV infection. In multiva.ia.e logistic regression, ma.erna. HBV DNa.level ≥ 2 × 107 IU/mL wa. the only significa.t independent predictor of perina.a. HBV infection. CONCLUSIONIn Ca.ifornia. tra

Expa.ding on La.rence Venuti＇s theory of tra.sla.ion a.d intertextua.ity, this a.ticle explores the rela.ionship between Chinese tra.sla.ions of Pla.h a.d the poetry of Zha. a.d Lu. It exa.ines four sets of Pla.h tra.sla.ions a.d the a.compa.ying pa.a.extua. commenta.ies, demonstra.ing how Pla.h＇s Chinese tra.sla.ors inscribe their individua. interpreta.ions onto their tra.sla.ions. It shows how these texts a.e integra. in sha.ing the ea.ly poetic output of Zha. a.d Lu, who further recontextua.ize Pla.h through their own poetry, revea.ing how Pla.h ha. been understood, eva.ua.ed, a.d tra.sformed in contempora.y China. Ultima.ely, this process results in a.bold new gendered poetics tha. ma.ks a.turning point in Chinese women＇s writing.

This study focuses on the migra.ion of middle school students to the interior of China.a.ter the Ja.a.ese inva.ed in 1937. It a.gues tha. the Guominda.g （GMD） centra. government wa. genera.ly successful in ha.dling the 500,000 displa.ed students, ma.ing substa.tia. efforts to monitor, register, educa.e, a.d provide tra.ning for them, a. well a. esta.lishing government-run ＂na.iona. middle schools＂ during the wa.. Mea.while, the GMD a.so exerted a.strong influence on course curriculum, instructing educa.ors how to implement the Three People＇s Principles a.d other pa.ty doctrines in cla.srooms. These processes expa.ded the sta.e＇s ha.d in seconda.y educa.ion a.d a.lowed the GMD to include refugee students a.d schools in its wa.time na.ra.ive of progress, pra.sing the students＇ pa.riotic pa.ticipa.ion in defying the Ja.a.ese occupiers a.d their contribution to ＂na.iona. reconstruction＂（jia.guo）. However, there were still ma.y cha.lenges. Refugee students, tea.hers, a.d principa.s forcibly converted Buddhist temples into schools a.d cla.hed with loca. monks, fa.mers, villa.ers, a.d even the GMD milita.y. With schools merging a.d moving inla.d, reloca.ion a.so provided opportunities for unscrupulous a.ministra.ors a.d tea.hers to exploit the situa.ion for themselves, a. government reports revea. ma.y ca.es of corruption in the wa.time schools.
