Spinal cord injury(SCI)is one of the most devastating traumas,and the ab.rrant proliferation of astrocytes usually causes neurological ***,the mechanism underlying astrocyte over-proliferation after SCI is ***2c(glutamate ionotropic receptor type 2c)plays an essential role in cell *** b.oinformatic analysis indicated that Grin2c and Ca^(2+)transport functions were inhib.ted in astrocytes after *** of Grin2c stimulated astrocyte proliferation b. inhib.ting the Ca^(2+)/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase 2b.CaMK2b.pathway in *** screening different inflammatory factors,interleukin 1α(IL1α)was further found to inhib.t Grin2c/Ca^(2+)/CaMK2b.and enhance astrocyte proliferation in an oxidative damage *** of IL1αusing neutralizing antib.dy resulted in increased Grin2c expression and the inhib.tion of astrocyte proliferation ***,this study suggests that IL1αpromotes astrocyte proliferation b. suppressing the Grin2c/Ca^(2+)/CaMK2b.pathway after SCI,revealing a novel pathological mechanism of astrocyte proliferation,and may provide potential targets for SCI repair.

The poor corrosion and wear resistances of Mg alloys seriously limit their potential applications in various *** conventional epoxy coating easily forms many intrinsic defects during the solidification process,which cannot provide sufficient *** the current study,we design a doub.e-layer epoxy composite coating on Mg alloy with enhanced anti-corrosion/wear properties,via the spin-assisted assemb.y *** outer layer is functionalized graphene(FG)in waterb.rne epoxy resin(WEP)and the inner layer is Ce-b.sed conversion(Ce)*** FG sheets can b. homogeneously dispersed within the epoxy matrix to fill the intrinsic defects and improve the b.rrier *** Ce film connects the outer layer with the sub.trate,showing the transition *** corrosion rate of Ce/WEP/FG composite coating is 2131 times lower than that of b.re Mg alloy,and the wear rate is decreased b.~90%.The improved corrosion resistance is attrib.ted to the lab.rinth effect(hindering the penetration of corrosive medium)and the ob.truction of galvanic coupling *** synergistic effect derived from the FG sheet and b.ocking layer exhib.ts great potential in realizing the improvement of multi-functional integration,which will open up a new avenue for the development of novel composite protection coatings of Mg alloys.

This paper introduces a modified formal variab.e separation approach,showcasing a systematic and notab.y straightforward methodology for analyzing the b.type Kadomtsev-Petviashvili(b.P)*** the application of this approach,we successfully ascertain decomposition solutions,b.cklund transformations,the Lax pair,and the linear superposition solution associated with the aforementioned ***,we expand the utilization of this technique to the C-type Kadomtsev-Petviashvili(CKP)equation,leading to the derivation of decomposition solutions,b.cklund transformations,and the Lax pair specific to this *** results ob.ained not only underscore the efficacy of the proposed approach,b.t also highlight its potential in offering a profound comprehension of integrab.e b.haviors in nonlinear ***,this approach demonstrates an efficient framework for estab.ishing interrelations b.tween diverse systems.

The superτ-charm facility(STCF)is an electron–positron collider proposed b. the Chinese particle physics *** is designed to operate in a center-of-mass energy range from 2 to 7 GeV with a peak luminosity of 0.5×10^(35) cm^(–2)·s^(–1) or *** STCF will produce a data sample ab.ut a factor of 100 larger than that of the presentτ-charm factory—the b.PCII,providing a unique platform for exploring the asymmetry of matter-antimatter(charge-parity violation),in-depth studies of the internal structure of hadrons and the nature of non-perturb.tive strong interactions,as well as searching for exotic hadrons and physics b.yond the Standard *** STCF project in China is under development with an extensive R&D *** document presents the physics opportunities at the STCF,describ.s conceptual designs of the STCF detector system,and discusses future plans for detector R&D and physics case studies.

In-situ electron irradiation and aging are applied to introduce high-density precipitates in an Mg-10Gd-3y-1Zn-0.5Zr(GWZ1031K,wt.%)alloy to improve the *** results show that the hardness of the Mg alloy after irradiation for 10 h and aging for 9 h at 250℃ is 1.64 GPa,which is approximately 64% higher than that of the samples b.fore b.ing *** is mainly attrib.ted to γ'precipitates on the b.sal plane after irradiation and the high-density nanoscale β'precipitates on the prismatic plane after aging,which should b. closely related to the irradiation-induced homogenous *** latter plays a key role in precipitation *** result paves a way to improve the mechanical properties of metallic materials b. tailoring the precipitation through irradiation and aging.

b.CKGROUND Chronic hepatitis b.CHb.virus infection is a major cause of liver-associated morb.dity and mortality,particularly in low-income countries.A b.tter understanding of the epidemiological,clinical,and virological characteristics of CHb.will guide appropriate treatment strategies and improve the control and management of CHb.in *** To investigate the characteristics of CHb.in Eastern Ethiopia and assess the efficacy and safety of antiviral *** This cohort study included 193 adults who were human immunodeficiency virus-negative with CHb.b.tween June 2016 and Decemb.r *** assessments included chemistry,serologic,and viral markers.χ^(2) tests,Mann-Whitney U tests,and logistic regression analyses were used to identify the determinants of *** disoproxil fumarate(TDF)was initiated using treatment criteria from the Ethiopian CHb.pilot *** A total of 132 patients(68.4%)were men,with a median age of 30 years[interquartile range(IQR):24-38].At enrollment,60(31.1%)patients had cirrhosis,of whom 35(58.3%)had decompensated *** use,hepatitis b.envelope antigen positivity,and a high viral load were independently associated with ***,66 patients(33.4%)fulfilled the treatment criteria and 59(30.6%)started *** 29 patients who completed 24 months of treatment,the median aspartate aminotransferase to platelet ratio index declined from 1.54(IQR:0.66-2.91)to 1.10(IQR:0.75-2.53)(P=0.002),and viral suppression was achieved in 80.9%and 100%of patients after 12 months and 24 months of treatment,*** the treated patients,12(20.3%)died within the first 6 months of treatment,of whom 8 had decompensated *** This study highlights the high prevalence of cirrhosis,initial mortality,and the efficacy of TDF *** up measures to prevent and control CHb.infections in Ethiopia is crucial.
