Nitazoxanide,the first thiazolide,was originally developed for the treatment of cryptosporidium *** recently,antiviral activity of nitazoxanide against hepatitis B virus(HBV)and hepatitis c virus was recognized in in vitro *** basic studies led to phaseⅡclinical trials that demonstrated the safety and efficacy of nitazoxanide in combination with peginterferon,with or without ribavirin,in the treatment of chronic hepatitis c genotype *** sustained virologic response rate was 79%and 80%in two studies,which was higher than the response rate of 50%with the standard of care with peginterferon plus *** very preliminary studies of patients with chronic hepatitis B,nitazoxanide suppressed serum HBV DNA and led to loss of hepatitis B e antigen in the majority of patients and hepatitis B surface antigen in approximately a quarter of *** controlled studies of naive and nonresponder patients with chronic hepatitis c genotype 1 are underway,new second generation and controlled release thiazolides are being developed,and future studies of patients with chronic hepatitis B are planned.

Walls' cooling of aeronautic propeller combustion chamber is performed with the injection, through the combustion chamber wall, of a part of the air coming from compressors placed upstream. Measurements of the wall thermal fields are made by infrared thermography along the injection wall. This injection wall is pierced by 9 rows of 8 holes (α=90°) in staggered configuration (p/D=s/D=6). We propose a model using two heat transfer coefficients to represent the convective exchanges. The results are non-dimensioned and presented in comparison with the case without holes. The use of this model allows us to define 4 zones. Those 4 zones exist for the 5 blowing rates.

The authors prove a new carleman estimate for general linear second order parabolic equation with nonhomogeneous boundary conditions. On the basis of this estimate, improved carleman estimates for the Stokes system and for a system of parabolic equations with a penalty term are obtained. This system can be viewed as an approximation of the Stokes system.

This paper is devoted to results on the Moser-Trudinger-Onofri inequality, or the Onofri inequality for brevity. In dimension two this inequality plays a role similar to that of the Sobolev inequality in higher dimensions. After justifying this statement by recovering the Onofri inequality through various limiting procedures and after reviewing some known results, the authors state several elementary *** new results are also proved in this paper. A proof of the inequality is given by using mass transportation methods(in the radial case), consistently with similar results for Sobolev inequalities. The authors investigate how duality can be used to improve the Onofri inequality, in connection with the logarithmic Hardy-Littlewood-Sobolev *** the framework of fast diffusion equations, it is established that the inequality is an entropy-entropy production inequality, which provides an integral remainder term. Finally,a proof of the inequality based on rigidity methods is given and a related nonlinear flow is introduced.

The hydrogenation at various temperatures of the （6√3 ×6√3）R30° reconstruction of SIc（0001）, the so-called buffer layer graphene （BLG）, is investigated. For the BLG, a significant concentration of remaining dangling bonds related to unsaturated Si atoms of the outermost Sic bilayer is evidenced in the inverse photoemission spectra. These dangling bonds give rise to a peak around 1 eV above the Fermi level, associated with the upper single-electron states of a Mott-Hubbard insulator, which vanishes upon hydrogenation. Hydrogen atoms adsorbed at ambient temperature remain covalently bound to BLG （H-BLG） up to temperatures of -500℃. They induce additional c-Si bonds at the BLG/Sic interface that saturate the remaining Si dangling bonds, as evidenced in both IPES and Auger electron spectra. The H-BLG further shows a large energy gap and an excess n-type doping in comparison to the pristine BLG. Upon hydrogen exposure at higher temperature （〉 700 ℃）, hydrogen atoms intercalate at the BLG/Sic interface, inducing the formation of a single layer of quasi-free- standing graphene （QFSG） lying on top of a hydrogenated （√3×√3）R30° reconstruction as supported by IPES. We suggest that the high-stability and the distinct electronic structure of both BLG-derived structures, H-BLG and QFSG, may open a route for the engineering of graphene-based devices.

clopidogrel in association with aspirine is considered state of the art of medical treatment for acute coronary syndrome by reducing the risk of new ischemic *** treatment with proton pump inhibitors in order to prevent gastrointestinal side effects is recommended by clinical *** needs metabolic activation predominantly by the hepatic cytochrome P450 isoenzyme cytochrome 2c19(cYP2c19) and proton pump inhibitors(PPIs) are extensively metabolized by the cYP2c19 isoenzyme as *** pharmacodynamic studies investigating a potential clopidogrel-PPI interaction found a significant decrease of the clopidogrel platelet antiaggregation effect for omeprazole,but not for *** clinical cohort studies in 2009 reported an increased risk for adverse cardiovascular events,when under clopidogrel and PPI treatment at the same *** observations led the United States Food and Drug Administration and the European Medecines Agency to discourage the combination of clopidogrel and PPI(especially omeprazole) in the same *** contrast,more recent retrospective cohort studies including propensity score matching and the only existing randomized trial have not shown any difference concerning adverse cardiovascular events when concomitantly on clopidogrel and PPI or only on *** meta-analyses report an inverse correlation between clopidogrel-PPI interaction and study quality,with high and moderate quality studies not reporting any association,rising concern about unmeasured confounders biasing the low quality ***,no definite evidence exists for an effect on *** PPI induced risk reduction clearly overweighs the possible adverse cardiovascular risk in patients with high risk of gastrointestinal bleeding,combination of clopidogrel with the less cYP2c19 inhibiting pantoprazole should be recommended.

Based on current voltage（I-Vg） and capacitance voltage（c-Vg） measurements,a reliable procedure is proposed to determine the effective surface potential Vd（Vg） in Schottky *** the framework of thermionic emission,our analysis includes both the effect of the series resistance and the ideality factor,even voltage dependent. This technique is applied to n-type indium phosphide（n-InP） Schottky diodes with and without an interfacial layer and allows us to provide an interpretation of the observed peak on the c-Vg *** study clearly shows that the depletion width and the flat band barrier height deduced from c-Vg,which are important parameters directly related to the surface potential in the semiconductor,should be estimated within our approach to obtain more reliable information.
