The neuropsychiatric disease named obsessive-compulsive disorder is composed by obsessions and/or compulsions.Obsessive-compulsive disorder etiologies are undefined.However,numerous mechanisms in several localizations are implicated.Some studies showed that both glutamate,inflammatory factors and oxidative stress could have main functions in obsessive-compulsive disorder.Glycogen synthase kinase-3β,the major negative controller of the WNT/β-catenin pathway is upregulated in obsessive-compulsive disorder.In obsessive-compulsive disorder,some studies presented the actions of the different circadian clock genes.WNT/β-catenin pathway and circadian clock genes appear to be intricate.Thus,this review focuses on the interaction between circadian clock genes and the WNT/β-catenin pathway in obsessive-compulsive disorder.

Autoimmune pancreatitis(AIP)is a type of immune-mediated pancreatitis subdivided into two subtypes,type 1 and type 2 AIP.Furthermore,type 1 AIP is considered to be the pancreatic manifestation of the immunoglobulin G4(IgG4)-related disease.Nowadays,AIP is increasingly researched and recognized,although its diagnosis represents a challenge for several reasons:False positive ultrasound-guided cytological samples for a neoplastic process,difficult to interpret levels of IgG4,the absence of biological markers to diagnose type 2 AIP,and the challenging clinical identification of atypical forms.Furthermore,60%and 78%of type 1 and type 2 AIP,respectively,are retrospectively diagnosed on surgical specimens of resected pancreas for suspected cancer.As distinguishing AIP from pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma can be challenging,obtaining a definitive diagnosis can therefore prove difficult,since endoscopic ultrasound fine-needle aspiration or biopsy of the pancreas are suboptimal.This paper focuses on recent innovations in the management of AIP with regard to the use of artificial intelligence,new serum markers,and new therapeutic approaches,while it also outlines the current management recommendations.A better knowledge of AIP can reduce the recourse to surgery and avoid its overuse,although such an approach requires close collaboration between gastroenterologists,surgeons and radiologists.Better knowledge on AIP and IgG4-related disease remains necessary to diagnose and manage patients.

Cashew tree has gradually moved from a purely ecological aspect to a socio-economic one, due to the marketing of its nuts. But production per area, estimated at between 424 and 547 kg/ha, remains low, in contrast to India (2nd largest producer) and Vietnam (3rd largest producer), whose yields range from 1000 to 1500 and 2000 to 2500 kg/ha respectively. This low yield is due to a number of factors, among which insect pests are the most damaging. Among these insects, termites are considered to be one of the main pests of cashew trees. The general objective of this study is to contribute to termite management through the use of bioinsecticides, an alternative to the use of chemicals in cashew orchards. Five (5) biological products were tested: Limocide, Carapa oil, Neem oil, Kitana and Kaskara. Among them, two products proved effective, with a mortality rate of over 50%. These were Limocide, whose LC50 was obtained in 24 h at a dose of 3.6 g/ml and 3.1 g/ml , giving a mortality rate of 57.66% ± 4.04% and 51.33 ± 2.08 respectively , and Carapa, at a dose of 4.5 g/ml, with an estimated mortality rate of 52.33% ± 1.52%. Such results have demonstrated the potential application of Limocide and Carapa biopesticides to sustainably control termites in cashew orchards of Côte d’Ivoire.

In this paper,we ameliorate the model proposed in[13],by incorporating the influence of hepatitis B e antigen(HBeAg)status of mothers on vertical transmission.We use the improved model to fit reported HBV new infections in the Zhejiang Province of China.Also to predict the course of the Hepatitis B(HBV)infection in this Chinese area,and in Tokombere,located in sub-Saharan Africa(SSA).Furthermore,we apply optimal control techniques in view to re-examine the effects of the newborn vaccination,the universal vaccination and the treatment of chronic carriers in preventing the HBV infection.Simulation results show that treatment slightly steps in the optimal strategy,while immunisation is an effective measure.On the other hand,they indicate that the control measures and immunization programs implemented in Zhejiang Province are effective.Besides,they suggest that in SSA,a package of several policies centred on birth dose vaccination should be implemented.

The simulation by the Monte Carlo method executed by the software PyPENELOPE proved effective to specify the particle propagation characteristics by calculating the absorption fractions, backscattering and transmission of electrons and secondary photons under the incidence of 0.5 to 20 KeV range of primary electrons. More than 99.9% of the primary electrons were transmitted in the 125 nm thick MgO/TiO2 material at 20 KeV. This occurred because several interactions took place in the transmitted primary irradiation such as characteristic, fluorescence, and bremsstrahlung produced when of the occupation of the KL3, KL2, KM3, and KM2 shell and sub-shell of titanium and magnesium which are the elements with a high atomic number in the material. The transmission particle characteristic of this material is therefore an indicator capable of improving the electrical performance and properties of the sensor.

简介通常,非小细胞肺癌(non-small cell lung cancer,NSCLC)诊断已为晚期,且预后较差。目前的NSCLC标准治疗总体治愈率低,有必要开发新的治疗方法。我们在本综述中提供了最新的免疫治疗干预临床数据,该手段可能能够提高免疫系统对细胞的应答。方法我们针对临床应用免疫疗法治疗NSCLC,检索了PubMed上的文章以及最近肿瘤学术会议上的摘要。结果Ⅱ期临床研究结果表明,靶向肿瘤细胞本身或其异常表达的肿瘤标志物的疫苗治疗(mucin1,黑色素瘤相关抗原3,或表皮生长因子),有望作为NSCLC免疫疗法。非抗原免疫治疗,如抗细胞毒T淋巴细胞抗原4单克隆抗体、talactoferrin alfa和toll-样受体9拮抗剂,作用于激活的免疫系统,与肿瘤抗原无关,可用于晚期NSCLC的治疗。目前一些免疫治疗正在进行III期研究,以确定最佳治疗方案,并与NSCLC标准治疗对照,确定其临床疗效。结论越来越多的证据表明肺部肿瘤存在免疫应答。免疫治疗,包括疫苗治疗和非抗原免疫调节方法,可改善NSCLC的预后。而且,提高抗肿瘤免疫应答的治疗,与化疗有协同作用。生物标志物的明确以及免疫治疗作用机制的进一步阐明对于确定哪些患者更可能从免疫治疗中获益至关重要。

目的探讨既往一线化疗失败的晚期非小细胞肺癌（NSCLC）患者接受吉非替尼或多西他赛治疗的疗效和安全性.方法 222例NSCLC患者随机分为吉非替尼组和多西他赛组,两组患者在性别、年龄、病理类型、分期等方面大致平衡.采用Kaplan-Meier法进行生存分析和比较,采用生活质量量表法评价患者治疗后生存质量的改善情况.结果吉非替尼组和多西他赛组的中位生存时间分别为11.0个月和14.0个月（P=0.783）,中位无疾病进展生存时间（PFS）分别为3.4个月和3.8个月,6个月的PFS率分别为35.1%和18.5%,客观有效率分别为21.9%和9.1%（P=0.016）.吉非替尼组中,有3例（2.8%）患者因不良反应调整药物剂量;而多西他赛组中,有36例（33.3%）患者因不良反应调整药物剂量.多西他赛组中,3～4级不良反应的发生率为61.1%;吉非替尼组中,3～4级不良反应的发生率为13.1%.吉非替尼组患者在生活质量和耐受性方面也明显优于多西他赛组.结论在既往治疗失败的晚期NSCLC患者中,吉非替尼与多西他赛的总体疗效相似,但吉非替尼的耐受性更好,患者的生活质量有所改善,是替代多西他赛治疗的重要药物之一.

Lattice Boltzmann Modeling of Miscible Multicomponent Gas Mixtures in the Rarefied Regime

An extension to rarefied flow regimes of the lattice Boltzmann methodbased model for miscible mixtures developed by Vienne et al.(Physical Review E 100.2(2019):023309)is presented.The model is applied to study the gas phase separation phenomenon in mixture flows that traditional macroscopic approaches fail to predict.The extension includes a wall function approach with an empirical coefficient to define an effectivemean free path in solid geometries,which locally defines the kinematic viscosity and binary diffusion coefficients.The algorithm is also modified by a local multi-relaxation time collision operator and slip boundary conditions at solid walls.Gaseous mixture flow simulations are conducted through a 2D plane microchannel within the slip and early transition flow regimes.Despite a miscible gaseous phase,the mixture loses its homogeneity and independent velocity profiles for each component are observed in the rarefied regime and captured with the current modeling.In addition,the gas separation phenomenon increases with the rarefaction rate and the molecular mass ratio.The individual treatment of the species within mixture flows in the developed lattice Boltzmann model helps understanding the increasing independent behavior of the individual specieswithin themixture as the regime becomesmore rarefied.

Background:Age-related changes in brain structure may constitute the starting point for cerebral function alteration.Physical activity(PA)demonstrated favorable associations with total brain volume,but its relationship with cortical thickness(CT)remains unclear.We investigated the cross-sectional associations between PA level and CT in community-dwelling people aged 70 years and older.Methods:A total of 403 older adults aged 74.8±4.0 years(mean±SD)who underwent a baseline magnetic resonance imaging examination and who had data on PA and confounders were included.PA was assessed with a questionnaire.Participants were categorized according to PA levels.Multiple linear regressions were used to compare the brain CT(mm)of the inactive group(no PA at all)with 6 active groups(growing PA levels)in 34 regions of interest.Results:Compared with inactive persons,people who achieved PA at a level of 1500-1999 metabolic equivalent task-min/week(i.e.,about6-7 h of brisk walking for exercise) and those who achieved it at 2000-2999 metabolic equivalent task-min/week(i.e.,8-11 h of brisk walking for exercise)had higher CT in the fusiform gyrus and the temporal pole.Additionally,dose-response associations between PA and CT were found in the fusiform gyrus(B=0.011,SE=0.004,adj.p=0.035),the temporal pole(B=0.026,SE=0.009,adj.p=0.048),and the caudal middle frontal gyrus,the entorhinal,medial orbitofrontal,lateral occipital,and insular cortices.Conclusion:This study demonstrates a positive association between PA level and CT in temporal areas such as the fusiform gyrus,a brain region often associated to Alzheimer’s disease in people aged 70 years and older.Future investigations focusing on PA type may help to fulfil remaining knowledge gaps in this field.
