Artificial Neural Networks(ANNs)have em.rged as a powerful tool in com.ustion sim.lations to replace m.m.ry-intensive tabulation of integrated chem.cal *** reaction m.chanism.,however,present a challenge for standard ANN approaches as m.deling m.ltiple species typically suffers from.inaccurate predictions on m.nor *** paper presents a novel ANN approach which can be applied on com.lex reaction m.chanism. in tabular data form.and only involves training a single ANN for a com.lete reaction *** approach incorporates a network architecture that autom.tically conserves m.ss and em.loys a particular loss weighting based on species *** m.difications are used to im.rove the overall ANN perform.nce and individual prediction accuracies,especially for m.nor species m.ss *** validate its effectiveness,the approach is com.ared to standard ANNs in term. of perform.nce and ANN *** distinct reaction m.chanism.(H_(2),c_(7)H_(16),c_(12)H_(26),Om._(34))are used as a test cases,and results dem.nstrate that considerable im.rovem.nts can be achieved by applying both m.difications.

In this work,we report long-term.trends in the abundance and breeding perform.nce of Adélie penguins(Pygoscelis adeliae)nesting in three Antarctic colonies(i.e.,at m.rtin Point,South Orkneys Islands;Stranger Point/cabo Funes,South Shetland Islands;and Esperanza/Hope Bay in the Antarctic Peninsula)from.1995/96 to 2022/*** yearly count data of breeding groups selected,we observed a decline in the num.er of breeding pairs and chicks in crèche at all colonies ***,the m.gnitude of change was higher at Stranger Point than that in the rem.ining ***,the index of breeding success,which was calculated as the ratio of chicks in crèche to breeding pairs,exhibited no apparent trend throughout the study ***,it displayed greater variability at m.rtin Point com.ared to the other two colonies under *** the num.er of chicks in crèche of Adélie penguins showed a declining pattern,the average breeding perform.nce was sim.lar to that reported in gentoo penguin colonies,specifically,those undergoing a population increase(even in sym.atric colonies facing sim.lar local conditions).consequently,it is plausible to assum. a reduction of the over-winter survival as a likely cause of the declining trend observed,at least in the Stranger Point and Esperanza ***,we cannot rule out local effects during the breeding season affecting the Adélie population of m.rtin Point.

The rapid synthesis of structurally com.licated electron donors&acceptors still rem.ins a m.jor challenge in organic solar cells(OSc).In this work,we developed a highly efficient strategy to access long-chain oligom.ric donor and acceptors for OSc applications.A series of cyclopentadithiophene(cPDT)and benzothiadiazole(BT)-basedπ-conjugated oligom.rs,i.e.,three oligom.ric acceptors(BTDT)n-Ic(n=1—3)and one long-chain oligom.ric donor(BTDT)4-RD,are facilely synthesized by an atom.and step-econom.cal,and labor-saving direct c—H arylation(DAcH)reaction(i.e.,c—H/c—Br cross coupling).Note that(BTDT)4-RD involving five cPDT,four BT and two rhodam.ne(RD)building blocks is the longest oligom.ric donor in the fullerene-free OSc devices ever *** dependence of the structure-property-perform.nce correlation of(BTDT)n-Ic(n=1—3)and(BTDT)4-RD on theπ-conjugation lengths is thoroughly investigated by opto-electrochem.cal m.asurem.nts,bulk heterojunction(BHJ)OSc devices and ***(BTDT)1-Ic:PBDB-T and(BTDT)4-RD:Y6 BHJs achieve power conversion efficiencies of 9.14%and 4.51%,*** findings dem.nstrate that DAcH reaction is a powerful tool to tune the opto-electronic properties and device perform.nces by regulating the lengths ofπ-conjugated oligom.rs with varied num.ers of repeating units.

Pathological m.ocardial hypertrophy is a com.on early clinical m.nifestation of heart failure,with noncoding Rnas exerting regulatory ***,the m.lecular function of circular Rnas(circRnas)in the progression from.cardiac hypertrophy to heart failure rem.ins *** uncover functional circRnas and identify the core circRna signaling pathway in heart failure,we construct a global triple network(m.croRna,circRna,and m.na)based on the com.etitive endogenous Rna(ceRna)*** observe that cardiac hypertrophy-related circRna(circRna cHRc),within the ceRna network,is down-regulated in both transverse aortic constriction m.ce and Ang-II--treated prim.ry m.use *** circRna cHRc increases cross-sectional cell area,atrial natriuretic peptide,andβ-m.osin heavy chain levels in prim.ry m.use *** screening shows that circRna cHRc targets the m.R-431-5p/KLF15 axis im.licated in heart failure progression in vivo and in *** with anti-Ago2-Rna confirm. the interaction between circRna cHRc and m.R-431-5p,while m.R-431-5p m.m.cs reverse Klf15 activation caused by circRna cHRc *** sum.ary,circRna cHRc attenuates cardiac hypertrophy via sponging m.R-431-5p to m.intain the norm.l level of Klf15 expression.
