Printed circuit boards(PCBs)are representative composite materials,and their high-quality drilling machining remains a persistent challenge in the *** finishing of the cutting edge of a microdrill is crucial to drill performance in machining fine-quality holes with a prolonged tool *** miniature size involving submicron scale geometric dimensions,a complex flute shape,and low fracture toughness makes the cutting edge of microdrills susceptible to breakage and has been the primary limiting factor in edge preparation for *** this study,a newly developed cutting edge preparation method for microdrills was tested experimentally on electronic printed circuit *** proposed method,namely,shear thickening polishing,limited the cutting edge burrs and chipping on the cutting edge,and this in turn transformed the cutting edge’s radius from being sharp to ***,the edge–edge radius could be regulated by adjusting the processing *** drilling experiments were conducted to investigate the influence of different cutting edge radii on wear,hole position accuracy,nail head value,and hole wall *** proposed approach showed 20%enhancement in hole position accuracy,33%reduction in the nail head value,and 19%reduction in hole wall roughness compared with the original ***,a threshold is needed;without it,excessive shear thickening polishing will result in a blunt edge,which may accelerate the wear of the *** was identified as the primary factor that reduced hole *** study indicates that in printed circuit board machining,microdrills should effectively eliminate grinding defects and maintain the sharpness of the cutting edge as much as possible to obtain excellent drilling ***,shear thickening polishing is a promising method for cutting edge preparation of *** research and optimization can lead to additional improvements in microdrill performance and contribute to the conti

The structural behaviour of precast shear wall-diaphragm connection was compared with the monolithic connection under seismic *** monolithic connection was made by using U-bars connecting shear wall and slab,and the precast connection was made by using dowel bars in two ***,U-shaped dowel bars from the precast shear wall lower panel and precast slab were connected by the longitudinal reinforcement,and screed concreting was done above the precast ***,the shear wall upper panel was connected using the dowel bar protruding from the shear wall lower *** gap between the dowel bars and the duct was filled with non-shrink *** specimens were subjected to reverse cyclic loading at the ends of the *** study also aimed to develop a 3-D numerical model using ABAQUS *** non-linear properties of concrete were defined by using the concrete damaged plasticity(CDP)model to analyse the response of the *** precast dowel connection between the shear wall and slab showed superior performance concerning ductility,strength,stiffness and energy *** developed finite element model exactly predicted the behaviour of connections as similar to that of experimental testing in the *** average difference between the results from finite element analysis and experimental testing was less than 20%.The results point to the conclusion that the shear resistance is provided by the dowel bars and the stiffness of the precast specimen is due to the diaphragm action of the precast *** damage parameter and the interaction between structural members play a crucial role in the modelling of precast connections.

The intent of this study was to provide topical delivery of acetazolamide by preparing chitosan-STPP (sodium tripolyphosphate) nanoparticles of acetazolamide and evaluate the particle size, zeta potential, drug entrapment, particle morphology;in vitro drug release and in vivo efficacy. The particles showed sustained in vitro drug release which followed the Higuchi kinetic model. The results indicate that the nanoparticles released the drug by a combination of dissolution and diffusion. The optimised formulation was having particle size 188.46 ± 8.53 nm and zeta potential + 36.86 ± 0.70 mV. The particles were spherical with a polydispersity index of 0.22 ± 0.00. Powder X-ray diffraction and differential scanning calorimetry indicated diminished crystallinity of drug in the nanoparticle formulation. In the in vitro permeation study, the nanoparticle formulation showed elevated permeation as compared to that of drug solution with negative signs of corneal damage. In vitro mucoadhesion studies showed 90.34 ± 1.12% mucoadhesion. The in vivo studies involving ocular hypotensive activity in rabbits revealed significantly higher hypotensive activity (P < 0.05) as compared with plain drug solution with no signs of ocular irritation. The stability studies revealed that formulation was quite stable.

Densified products produced from pellet mill are commercially used as a commodity type product for energy applications that are transported nationally and *** quality of the pelletized biomass produced depends on the process variables such as die diameter,length to diameter(L/D)ratio,die speed,preheating,and steam conditioning;and feedstock variables such as feedstock type,moisture content,and particle size and *** the present study,pelleting tests were conducted with both woody(i.e.,lodgepole pine and pinyon-juniper)and herbaceous(i.e.,corn stover,wheat straw,and energy sorghum)biomass.A high level of feedstock moisture content of 33%(w.b.)was selected,while the die speed and preheating temperature process variables were kept at 60 Hz(380 rpm)and 70*** indicated that during the pelleting and cooling process,an approximate 10–13%(w.b.)moisture loss in both the woody and herbaceous biomass was *** high moisture pellets produced were further dried in a laboratory oven at 70C for three hours to reduce the moisture content of the pellets to1133,>580,>620 kg/m3)and the woody biomass lodgepole pine(e.g.,>1037,>568,>641 kg/m3),*** the case of durability for the 8 mm diameter pellets,wheat straw and corn stover recorded a maximum of about 96%,respectively,while the lodgepole pine and pinion juniper recorded a maximum of>96%,respectively.

Reconstruction surgery for a female to male transsexual usually involves mastectomy, hysterectomy and creating anaesthetically appealing neophallus. We have successfiflly inserted an inflatable prosthesis using the AMS CX prosthesisin a 45 year old transsexual, who had a large bulky neophallus constructed from the anterior abdominal subcutaneousfat, about 9 years ago. The single cylinder CX prosthesis was well anchored to the symphysis pubis using a dacronwindsock tubing, the activation pump was placed in the dependent pouch of the right labium and the reservior in theusual perivesical space. The patient subsequently had debulking procedure using liposuction to create a more aestheticand functional phallus. To date, the inflatable neophallus prosthesis is functioning well. Response surface methodology （RSM） employing 5-level Box-Behnken design was used to optimize the biosorption of cerium（III） onto biowaste materials of animal and plant origin viz. prawn carapace （PC） and corn style （CS）. Various process parameters viz. pH （A：3.0-9.0）, biomass dosage （B：0.05-0.35 g/L）, initial metal concentration （C：50-350 mg/L）, contact time （D：2-6 h） and temperature （E：20-60 ℃ were chosen for optimization. A log transformation was suggested by the Box-Cox plot in the present case. A low p-value of〈0.0001 validated the significance of the model. Maximum Ce（III） uptake of 218.3 mg/g for PC and 180.2 mg/g for CS was noted under optimum conditions. Among the equilibrium isotherms, Freundlich model was found to be the best fitted one suggesting a heterogeneous mode of biosorption on PC whereas Langmuir model showed the best fit suggesting homogeneous mode of cerium biosorption on CS. This was further confirmed by scanning electron microscopy （SEM）. Kinetic studies showed better applicability of pseudo-first order model suggesting physisorption as phenomena underlying the process. Film-diffusion was suggested by the non-linearity of the Boyd plot. Thermodynamic studies showed that the process was endothermic and spontaneous. FTIR analysis confirmed a major involvement of the participation of amide, amines, ketones and primary alcohol groups during Ce（III） biosorption. EDAX analysis confirmed the major participation of carbon group during Ce（III） biosorption. This was the first report on parameter optimization of Ce（III） biosorption onto biowaste materials using 5-level Box-Behnken experimental design which might be helpful for the recovery of Ce（III） from aqueous environment.

Edge Computing is one of the radically evolving systems through generations as it is able to effectively meet the data saving standards of consumers,providers and the workers. Requisition for Edge Computing based items havebeen increasing tremendously. Apart from the advantages it holds, there remainlots of objections and restrictions, which hinders it from accomplishing the needof consumers all around the world. Some of the limitations are constraints oncomputing and hardware, functions and accessibility, remote administration andconnectivity. There is also a backlog in security due to its inability to create a trustbetween devices involved in encryption and decryption. This is because securityof data greatly depends upon faster encryption and decryption in order to transferit. In addition, its devices are considerably exposed to side channel attacks,including Power Analysis attacks that are capable of overturning the *** space and the ability of it is one of the most challenging tasks. Toprevail over from this issue we are proposing a Cryptographic LightweightEncryption Algorithm with Dimensionality Reduction in Edge Computing. Thet-Distributed Stochastic Neighbor Embedding is one of the efficient dimensionality reduction technique that greatly decreases the size of the non-linear data. Thethree dimensional image data obtained from the system, which are connected withit, are dimensionally reduced, and then lightweight encryption algorithm isemployed. Hence, the security backlog can be solved effectively using thismethod.
