Analyzing COVID-19 Impact on the Researchers Productivity through Their Perceptions

Context:since the end of 2019,the COVID-19 pandemic had a worst impact on world’s economy,healthcare,and *** are several aspects where the impact of COVID-19 could be *** these,one aspect is the productivity of researcher,which plays a significant role in the success of an ***:There are several factors that could be aligned with the researcher’s productivity of each domain and whose analysis through researcher’s feedback could be beneficial for decision makers in terms of their decision making and implementation of mitigation plans for the success of an ***:We perform an empirical study to investigate the substantial impact of COVID-19 on the productivity of researchers by analyzing the relevant factors through their *** study aims to find out the impact of COVID-19 on the researcher’s productivity that are working in different *** this study,we conduct a questionnaire-based analysis,which included feedback of 152 researchers of certain *** researchers are currently involved in different research ***,we perform a statistical analysis to analyze the collected responses and report the ***:The results indicate the substantial impact of COVID-19 pandemics on the researcher’s productivity in terms of mental disturbance,lack of regular meetings,and field visits for the collection of primary ***:Finally,it is concluded that researcher’s daily or weekly meetings with their supervisors and colleagues are necessary to keep them more productive in task *** findings would help the decision makers of an organization in the settlement of their plan for the success of an organization.

Copper oxide nanoflowers(CuO-NFs)have been synthesized through a novel green route using Tulsi leaves-extracted eugenol(4-allyl-2-methoxyphenol)as reducing *** results reveal the growth of crystalline singlephase CuO-NFs with monoclinic *** prepared CuO-NFs can effectively degrade methylene blue with 90%*** also show strong barrier against ***(27±2 mm)at the concentration of 100μg mL−1,while at the concentration of 25μg mL−1 weak barrier has been found against all examined bacterial *** results provide important evidence that CuO-NFs have sustainable performance in methylene blue degradation as well as bacterial organisms.

Plant population and weeds influence stalk insects, soil moisture, and yield in rainfed sunflowers

Insect infestation, soil moisture, and yield were examined in populations of≈33 140 plants/ha （low） and ≈ 40 340 plants/ha （high） of an oilseed sunflower, Helianthus annuus L, cv. ＇ Triumph 660CL＇ with two levels of weediness. Less weedy plots resulted from the application of herbicide combination of s-metolachlor and sulfentrazone, whereas more weedy plots resulted from application of sulfentrazone alone. Among the 12 weed species recorded, neither plant numbers nor biomass differed between crop plant densities. Larvae of the stalk-boring insects Cylindrocopturus adspersus （Coleoptera： Curculionidae） and Mordellistena sp. （Coleoptera： Mordellidae） were less abundant in high density sunflowers, ostensibly due to reduced plant size. However, the same effect was not observed for Dectes texanus （Coleoptera： Cerambycidae） or Pelochrista womanana （Lepidoptera： Tortricidae）, two other stalk-boring insects. soil moisture was highest in low density and lowest in the high density sunflowers that were less weedy. stalk circumference, head diameter, and seed weight were reduced for sunflower plants with short interplant distances （mean = 20 cm apart） compared to plants with long interplant distances （mean = 46 cm apart）. These three variables were greater in less weedy plots compared with more weedy plot〉 and positively correlated with interplant distance. Yields on a per-hectare basis paralleled those on a per-plant basis but were not different among treatments. The agronomic implications of planting density are discussed in the context of weed and insect management.

synthesis and characterization of a series of cross-linked polyamines for removal of Erichrome Black T from aqueous solution

A new series of polymers comprising four terpolymers was synthesized via Mannich polycondensation of benzene1,4diamine,formaldehyde and piperazine by varying the benzene1,4diamine and piperazine *** new polyamines(labeled Dipip)were characterized using 13C solidstate NMR,FTIR,TGA,DsC,XRD,sEM and *** adsorptive performances of the synthesized polymers for Erichrome Black T(EBT)uptake from aqueous solution were investigated under batch ***,kinetic,and thermodynamic studies were conducted to determine the influence of different operational parameters of the adsorption *** two most promising polymers among the series show an excellent EBT removal efficiency of~100%and~95%with high adsorption capacities of 775 mgg 1 and 917 mgg 1,respectively at a meager dosage of 5 *** sorption of EBT on the polymers was well described by RedlichPeterson&Langmuir model while the kinetic studies indicate that pseudosecond order model was *** the thermodynamic studies,the negative AG and positive AH values obtained suggest a spontaneity of the sorption process which was endothermic in *** results of reusability test of the resins were promising even at the fourth cycle,showcasing the potentials of the new polymers in dyes contaminated water treatment.

Using series iteration techniques identities and apply each of these identities in we derive a number of general double series order to deduce several hypergeometric reduction formulas involving the srivastava-Daoust double hypergeometric function. The results presented in this article are based essentially upon the hypergeometric summation theorems of Kummer and Dixon.

Transmitter-Receiver Path selection for Cell Range Extension Using Multi-Hop D2D

Conventional approach of dealing with more users per coverage area in cellular networks implies densifying the amount of(Access Point)AP which will eventually result in a larger carbon *** this paper,we propose a base station off-loading and cell range extension(CRE)scheme based on multi-hop device-to-device(MHD2D)path selection between transmitter and receiver *** paper also provides derivations of upper and lower bounds for energy efficiency,capacity,and transmit *** proposed path selection scheme is inspired by the foraging behavior of honey *** present the algorithm as a modified variant of the artificial bee colony algorithm(MVABC).The proposed optimization problem is modeled as a minimization problem where we optimize the Energy Efficiency(EE).The proposed path selection MVABC is compared with the Genetic Algorithm(GA)and also with classical artificial bee colony(ABC)through simulations and statistical *** student’s t-test,p-value,and standard error of means(sEM)clearly show that MVABC based path selection out-performs the GA and classical ABC *** based approach is 66%more efficient when compared with classic ABC and about 62%efficient when compared with GA based scheme.

Big Data Analytics Using swarm-Based Long short-Term Memory for Temperature Forecasting

In the past few decades,climatic changes led by environmental pollution,the emittance of greenhouse gases,and the emergence of brown energy utilization have led to global *** warming increases the Earth’s temperature,thereby causing severe effects on human and environmental conditions and threatening the livelihoods of millions of *** warming issues are the increase in global temperatures that lead to heat strokes and high-temperature-related diseases during the summer,causing the untimely death of thousands of *** forecast weather conditions,researchers have utilized machine learning algorithms,such as autoregressive integrated moving average,ensemble learning,and long short-term memory *** techniques have been widely used for the prediction of *** this paper,we present a swarm-based approach called Cauchy particle swarm optimization(CPsO)to find the hyperparameters of the long shortterm memory(LsTM)*** hyperparameters were determined by minimizing the LsTM validationmean square error *** optimized hyperparameters of the LsTM were used to forecast the temperature of Chennai *** proposed CPsO-LsTM model was tested on the openly available 25-year Chennai temperature *** experimental evaluation on MATLABR2020a analyzed the root mean square error rate and mean absolute error to evaluate the forecasted *** proposed CPsO-LsTM outperforms the traditional LsTM algorithm by reducing its computational time to 25 min under 200 epochs and 150 hidden neurons during *** proposed hyperparameter-based LsTM can predict the temperature accurately by having a root mean square error(RMsE)value of 0.250 compared with the traditional LsTM of 0.35 RMsE.

Evaluation of Certain Integrals Involving the Product of Classical Hermite's Polynomials Using Laplace Transform Technique and Hypergeometric Approach

In this paper some novel integrals associated with the product of classical Hermite＇s polynomials ∫-∞＋∞（x2）mexp（-x2）{Hr（x）}2dx,∫0∞exp（-x2）H2k（x）H2s＋1（x）dx,∫0∞exp（-x2）H2k（x）H2s（x）dx and ∫0∞exp（-x2）H2k＋1（x）H2s＋1（x）dx, are evaluated using hypergeometric approach and Laplace transform method, which is a different approach from the approaches given by the other authors in the field of spe- cial functions. Also the results may be of significant nature, and may yield numerous other interesting integrals involving the product of classical Hermite＇s polynomials by suitable simplifications of arbitrary parameters.

The main aim of this article is to obtain certain Laurent type hypergeometric generating relations. Using a general double series identity, Laurent type generating functions(in terms of Kampéde Fériet double hypergeometric function) are derived. some known results obtained by the method of Lie groups and Lie algebras, are also modified here as special cases.
