Despite modern medicine’s advancements,age-related neurological diseases like Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinson’s disease remain challenging due to high costs,side effects,and limited ***,a traditional Indian medicine system,offers Kadha tea as a potential herbal *** review explores Kadha’s components(basil(Ocimum basilicum L.),black pepper(Piper nigrum L.),Cinnamon(Cinnamomum verum ***),ginger(Zingiber officinale Roscoe),and raisin(Vitis vinifera L.))and their interaction with various neurological *** suggest Kadha exhibits anti-inflammatory,antioxidant,and antiviral properties,potentially impacting Alzheimer’s disease,Parkinson’s disease,neurotoxicity,neuroinflammation,and brain *** focusing on specific disease mechanisms and Kadha’s intergrade effects,this review aims to elucidate its potential role in managing age-related neurological disorders.

Due to the acute and terrible pain that patients with renal colic experience,the most essential therapeutic priority for these patients in the emergency department(ED)is to reduce pain.[1]Although numerous medications are utilized to reduce pain in patients with acute renal colic,no therapy has yet been developed to totally and quickly relieve pain.[2,3]Intravenous opioids and nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs(NSAIDs)are commonly administered intravenously to control pain in these patients in the ED;however,the need for frequent monitoring for possible complications and relatively slow-acting features render these strategies undesirable.

COVID-19 vaccination,although is a promising tool to overcome the pandemic,has side *** are in-creasing reports of oral lesions after COVID-19 *** aim of this review is to identify the occurrence of some oral lesions after COVID-19 vaccination,and highlight the underlying immune mechanisms involved.A narrative literature review was performed by searching electronic databases including PubMed,Scopus and Web of Science to investigate the oral lesions after COVID-19 *** inclusion criteria were original stud-ies,including the case reports,case series,letter to the editor,and cross-sectional *** exclusion criteria included the studies which examined the oral lesions caused by COVID-19 *** information,including the number of participant(s)receiving vaccine,type of vaccine,dose number,side effect(s),time of onset fol-lowing vaccination,healing time,treatment strategies for the existing lesions,and related mechanisms were then summarized in a data extraction *** results of this review showed that some vaccines had side effects with oral involvement such as pemphigus vulgaris,bullous pemphigoid,herpes zoster,lichen planus,Stevens-Johnson syndrome and Behçet’s *** research needs to elucidate the physiopathology of oral manifestations after the COVID-19 vaccination,and better understand the risk factors associated with such *** vaccine’s side effects may be due to the nocebo effect,which means that the person expects some adverse events to occur following the vaccine administration.

Wellbore instability is one of the concerns in the field of drilling *** phenomenon is affected by several factors such as azimuth,inclination angle,in-situ stress,mud weight,and rock strength *** these factors,azimuth,inclination angle,and mud weight are *** objective of this paper is to introduce a new procedure based on elastoplastic theory in wellbore stability solution to determine the optimum well trajectory and global minimum mud pressure required(GMMPR).Genetic algorithm(GA) was applied as a main optimization engine that employs proportional feedback controller to obtain the minimum mud pressure required(MMPR).The feedback function repeatedly calculated and updated the error between the simulated and set point of normalized yielded zone area(NYZA).To reduce computation expenses,an artificial neural network(ANN) was used as a proxy(surrogate model) to approximate the behavior of the actual wellbore *** methodology was applied to a directional well in southwestern Iranian *** results demonstrated that the error between the predicted GMMPR and practical safe mud pressure was 4%for elastoplastic method,and 22%for conventional elastic solution.

Equipment plays an important role in open pit mining industry and its cost competence at efficient operation and maintenance techniques centered on reliability can lead to significant cost *** application of optimal maintenance process was investigated for minimizing the equipment breakdowns and downtimes in Sungun Copper *** results in the improved efficiency and productivity of the equipment and lowered expenses as well as the increased profit *** field operating data of 10 trucks are used to estimate the failure and maintenance profile for each component,and modeling and simulation are accomplished by using reliability block diagram *** analysis was then conducted to select proper probabilistic model for maintenance *** reliability of the system was evaluated and importance of each component was computed by weighted importance measure *** analysis led to identify the items with critical impact on availability of overall equipment in order to prioritize improvement ***,the availability of trucks was evaluated using Monte Carlo simulation and it is revealed that the uptime of the trucks is around 11000 h at 12000 operation ***,uncertainty analysis was performed to account for the uncertainty sources in data and models.

Upper Gotvand Dam is constructed on the Karun River at the south west of *** this paper,2D and 3D models of the dam together with the foundation and abutments were established,and several seepage analyses were carried ***,the gypsum veins that are scattered throughout the foundation ground were included in the models,and the seepage pattern,considering the dissolution law of gypsum,was *** was disclosed that the discharge fluxes obtained from 2D and 3D analyses are not similar,and the discharge flux in 3D model is about four times that of the 2D ***,the 3D model locates the phreatic surface somewhat higher than the 2D *** means that the 2D model estimates lower pore water pressure pattern in comparison with the 3D *** may be attributed to the fact that with 2D model the lateral components of vectors of seepage velocity are *** the current case,the rate of increase of discharge flux due to dissolution of gypsum veins was obtained to be a thirdorder function of the aperture *** spite of the fact that the grout curtain is designed to be about 170 m deep,however,complete dissolve of gypsum will severely increase the discharge flux through the foundation ground.

BACKGROUND： Immune thrombocytopenic purpnra （ITP） is a common autoimmune disorder diagnosed with thrombocytopenia and bleeding symptoms due to production of autoantibodies （Abs） against platelets. Nowadays, microRNAs are known as novel biomarkers for diagnosis of diseases. The aim of this study was to investigate the expression levels of miR-21 and miR-150 in ITP patients and determine the role of these miRNAs in ITP pathogenesis. MATERIALS and METHODS： Thirty newly diagnosed patients with acute ITP and 30 healthy subjects（ age and sex matched） as controls were enrolled in this study. The expression level ofmiR-21 and miR- 150 was investigated using Real-time-PCR. Comparison of demographic characteristics of the cases was done using independent t-test and chi-square test. Comparison of the expression level of miR-21 and miR-150 with the related parameters was done using independent t-test or Mann-Whitney and Kruskal-Wallis test, Spearman rho correlation coefficient was used to investigate the relationship between the expression of miR-21 and miR-150 with demographic characteristics. RESULTS： The expression of miR-21, 150 in the patients was not different compared with the control group in general. A significant relationship between the expression of miR-21 with hemoglobin, hematocrit and red blood cell hemoglobin concentration was observed. DISCUSSION： Expression of miR-21 and miR-150 is not associated with pathogenesis of acute ITP and can involve the synergistic role of other miRNAs. Investigation of miR-21 and miR-150 expression along with other miRNAs and cytokines can be helpful in diagnosis and pathogenesis of ITP.

本研究的目的是建立一个综合的能力分析框架模型,以解决系统的危险因素对运输车队额定能力的影响。该模型是基于数据驱动的方法,考虑不同的场景,捕捉采矿设备的突发风险。概率风险评估(PRA)是通过关注故障事件的严重性和可维护性度量来量化生产能力的损失。配置离散事件模拟来表征采矿作业的标称能力。在此基础上,通过标称能力与实际能力的比较,对系统能力进行了分析。通过一个案例研究验证了本文的研究方法,收集了铲运机过去的运行维护现场数据。采用离散事件模拟方法对铲斗标称能力进行了估计,然后,通过开发PRA方法来评估不良场景的影响。研究结果为提高矿山生产能力提供了重要的启示。分析人员对处理高风险水平的关键因素有很好的判断,可以制定一个全面的维护计划来减少和控制损失。

Nitrification inhibitors can effectively decrease nitrification rates and nitrous oxide(N_(2)O)emission while increasing crop yield under certain ***,there is no information available on the effects of nitrification inhibitors and tillage practices on N_(2)O emissions from maize cropping in *** study how tillage practices and nitrapyrin(a nitrification inhibitor)affect N_(2)O emission,a split factorial experiment using a completely randomized block design with three replications was carried out in Northeast Iran,which has a cold semiarid *** main plots were created with conventional tillage and minimum tillage levels,and two nitrogen(N)fertilizer(urea)management systems(with and without nitrapyrin application)were created as *** level did not have any significant effect on soil ammonium(NH_(4)^(+))and nitrate(NO_(3)^(-))concentrations,cumulative amount and yield-scaled N_(2)O emission,and aboveground biomass of maize,whereas nitrapyrin application showed significant *** application significantly reduced the cumulative amount of N_(2)O emission by 41%and 32%in conventional tillage and minimum tillage practices,respectively.A reduction in soil NO_(3)^(-)concentration by nitrapyrin was also *** average yield-scaled N_(2)O emission was 13.6 g N_(2)O-N kg^(-1)N uptake in both tillage systems without nitrapyrin application and was significantly reduced to 7.9 and 8.2 g N_(2)O-N kg^(-1)N uptake upon the application of nitrapyrin in minimum tillage and conventional tillage practices,***,nitrapyrin application increased maize biomass yield by 4%and 13%in the minimum tillage and conventional tillage systems,*** results indicate that nitrapyrin has a potential role in reducing N_(2)O emission from agricultural systems where urea fertilizers are broadcasted,which is common in Iran due to the practice of traditional farming.
