Facile synthesis as well as structural, Raman, Dielectric and Antibacterial Characteristics of Cu Doped ZnO Nanoparticles

Here, undoped and Cu doped ZnO nanoparticles(NPs) have been prepared by chemical co-precipitation technique. X-ray diffraction(XRD) results reveal that Cu ions are successfully doped into ZnO matrix without altering its wurtzite phase. The single wurtzite phase of ZnO is retained even for 10 wt% Cu doped ZnO sample. It is observed from the electron microscopy results that higher level of Cu doping varies the morphology of ZnO NPs from spherical to flat NPs. Moreover, the particle size is found to increase with the increase in Cu doping level. Raman spectroscopy results further confirm that Cu dopant has not altered the wurtzite structure of ZnO. Impedance spectroscopy results reveal that the dielectric constant and dielectric loss have increasing trend with Cu doping. Cu doping has been found to slightly decrease the bactericidal potency of ZnO nanoparticles.

目的:通过来源于“浙械警戒”系统获取的一次性活检针不良事件信息,探究一次性活检针类医疗器械不良事件风险种类、发生原因及应对措施。方法:通过检索“浙械警戒”系统、国家药品监督管理局等一次性活检针类产品不良事件信息源,研究其风险种类,分析风险发生因素并提出应对措施。结果:一次性活检针类产品不良事件主要涉及产品固有风险、注册人产品生产质量控制风险、临床操作使用风险和患者风险4个方面。发生风险原因主要包括注册人产品材质选择和结构设计、生产质量控制程度,临床实际操作方法,患者个体差异、患者及家属配合程度等。应对措施包括注册人改进产品、加强质量管理体系建设、规范临床操作、严格把握适用范围、充分沟通与宣教。结论:一次性活检针类产品存在可能导致人体伤害的已知和非预期风险,应在该类产品生产、使用和监管环节加强风险监测和风险管理,降低和减少同类不良事件的再发生。

Robotic manipulators are widely used in applications that require fast and precise *** devices,however,are prompt to nonlinear control issues due to the flexibility in joints and the friction in the motors within the dynamics of their rigid *** address these issues,the Linear Matrix Inequalities(LMIs)and Parallel Distributed Compensation(PDC)approaches are implemented in the Takagy–sugeno Fuzzy Model(T-sFM).We propose the following methodology;initially,the state space equations of the nonlinear manipulator model are ***,a Takagy–sugeno Fuzzy Model(T-sFM)technique is used for linearizing the state space equations of the nonlinear *** T-sFM controller is developed using the Parallel Distributed Compensation(PDC)*** prime concept of the designed controller is to compensate for all the fuzzy ***,the Linear Matrix Inequalities(LMIs)are applied to generate adequate cases to ensure stability and *** programming methods are applied to solve the developed LMIs *** developed for the proposed model show that the proposed controller stabilized the system with zero tracking error in less than 1.5 s.

Circulating inflammatory factors associated with worse long-term prognosis in colorectal cancer

AIM To investigate association of circulating inflammatory factors at the time of colorectal cancer(CRC) surgery with *** Plasma levels from 174 CRC patients(69 females and 105 men), with median age 70 years(range 29-90), localized in the colon(n = 105) or rectum(n = 69), with stage Ⅰ(n = 24), stage Ⅱ(n = 54), stage Ⅲ(n = 67) and stage Ⅳ(n = 29) were measured using commercially available Bio-Plex Pro? Human Chemokine Panel 40-Plex, including 40 different chemokines, cytokines and interleukins. The prognostic association of each inflammatory factor was analysed as CRC-specific and total *** Out of 174 patients, 66 died during the follow-up, 40 because of CRC specific mortality. High tertile levels of 8 factors were significantly associated with increased CRC-specific mortality, of which CCL1, CCL20, CCL24, CX3CL1, IL-4 and TNF-α remained significant in a multivariate Cox regression analysis. High tertile levels of 14 factors were associated with increased total mortality, of which CCL1, CCL15, CCL20, CX3CL1, CXCL13, IFN-γ, IL-2, IL-4 and IL-10 remained significant after adjustment for clinical covariates. For most of the inflammatory factors the association between higher tertile levels and an increased mortality in general appeared two years after surgery. High tertile levels of TNF-α and CCL24 were exclusively associated with CRC-specific mortality. The distribution of these factors were not associated with TNM stage with exception for *** High plasma levels of inflammatory factors are associated with increased risk of mortality among CRC patients and could be potential biomarkers for revealing prognosis.

Lithium–sulfur(Li–s) batteries have received widespread attention, and lean electrolyte Li–s batteries have attracted additional interest because of their higher energy densities. This review systematically analyzes the effect of the electrolyte-to-sulfur(E/s) ratios on battery energy density and the challenges for sulfur reduction reactions(sRR) under lean electrolyte conditions. Accordingly, we review the use of various polar transition metal sulfur hosts as corresponding solutions to facilitate sRR kinetics at low E/s ratios(strengths and limitations of different transition metal compounds are presented and discussed from a fundamental perspective. subsequently, three promising strategies for sulfur hosts that act as anchors and catalysts are proposed to boost lean electrolyte Li–s battery performance. Finally, an outlook is provided to guide future research on high energy density Li–s batteries.

Consider performing a sequence of Bernoulli trials (each resulting in either a success, denoted s, or a failure F, with a probability of p and q := 1 - p respectively) until one of m specific strings (or patterns) of consecutive outcomes is generated. This can be seen as a game where m players select one such pattern each and the one whose pattern occurs first wins. We present symbolic formulas for the m probabilities of winning, and for the mean number of trials and the corresponding standard deviation to complete this game. several numerical examples are presented, including a search for optimal strategy.

In this work,NiTi samples with different thicknesses(0.15-1.00 mm)were fabricated by laser powder bed fusion(LPBF)under variable scanning speeds(500-1200 mm s^(-1)).The densification behavior,phase transformation behavior,and mechanical properties of the sample with different thicknesses are *** results indicate a strong size effect in the LPBF-fabricated NiTi *** decrease of the sample thickness results in(i)the increase of porosity,(ii)the decrease of the number of adhered NiTi powder particles at the surface,(iii)the monotonous decrease of the martensitic transformation temperatures(MTTs),and(iv)the decrease of the shape recovery *** influence of sample thickness on the melt-pool behavior,and thus the microstructure and performance of NiTi alloys are *** is suggested that the melt-pool is deeper and narrower in the thin samples than in the thick *** conclude that,apart from the LPBF process conditions,the sample dimensions have also to be considered to fabricate NiTi structures with predictable properties.
