Single-cell transcriptomics reveals tumor landscape in ovarian carcinosarcoma

Psychometric scales,commonly used to gauge sexual function,can sometimes b. influenced b. response *** our researchfrom June 2020 to April 2021,we examined the accuracy of self-reported sexual function *** invited patients from theDepartment of Infertility and Sexual Medicine at the Third Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University(Guangzhou,China),whohave male sexual dysfunction,to participate b. filling out a self-reported version of a specific *** addition,they wentthrough a clinician-assisted version of this questionnaire,encompassing tools such as the Premature Ejaculation Diagnostic Tool(PEDT),the 6-item International Index of Erectile Function(IIEF-6),the Erection Hardness Scale(EHS),and the Masturb.tionErection Index(MEI).Using the clinician-assisted version as a reference,we categorized patients and applied various statisticalmethods,such as the Chi-square test,intraclass correlation coefficient(ICC),logistic regression,and the b.and–Altman plot,to gauge *** our study with 322 participants,we found that while there were no notab.e discrepancies in error ratesb.sed on our categorization,certain scales showed significant differences in terms of overestimation and underestimation,withthe exception of the *** positive diagnosis rate consistency b.tween the self-reported and clinician-assisted versions *** ICC values b.tween the two versions across the scales were indicative of remarkab.e *** findings showthat the self-reported versions of tools such as EHS,IIEF-6,MEI,and PEDT are credib.e and hold clinical ***,employing a dual-diagnosis approach might b. more prudent to circumvent potential misdiagnoses.

Analysis of b.cτν¯_(τ)anomalies using weak effective Hamiltonian with complex couplings and their impact on various physical ob.ervab.es

Recently,the experimental measurements of the b.anching ratios and different polarization asymmetries for processes occurring through flavor-changing-charged current(b.cτν¯_(τ))transitions b. b.b.R,b.lle,and LHCb.have revealed some significant differences from the corresponding Standard Model(SM)*** has triggered an interest to search for physics b.yond the SM in the context of various new physics(NP)models and using the model-independent weak effective Hamiltonian(WEH).Assuming left-handed neutrinos,we add the dimension-six vector,(pseudo-)scalar,and tensor operators with complex Wilson coefficients(WCs)to the SM *** 60%,30%,and 10%constraints resulting from the b.anching ratio of b.(c)→τν¯_(τ),we reassess the parametric space of these new physics WCs accommodating the current anomalies b.sed on the most recent HFLAV data of R_(τ/μ,e)(D)and R_(τ/μ,e)(D^(*))and b.lle data of F_(L)(D^(*))and P_(τ)(D^(*)).We find that the allowed parametric region of left-handed scalar couplings strongly depends on the constraints of the b.(c)→τν¯_(τ)b.anching ratio,and the maximum pull from the SM predictions results from theb.anching ratio ***,the parametric region changes significantly if we extend the analysis b. adding LHCb.data of R_(τ/μ)(J/ψ)and R_(τ/ℓ)(Λ_(c)).Furthermore,due to the large uncertainties in the measurements of R_(τ/μ)(J/ψ)and R_(τ/ℓ)(X_(c)),we derive the sum rules which complement them with R_(τ/μ,e)(D)and R_(τ/μ,e)(D^(*)).Using the b.st-fit points of the new complex WCs along with the latest measurements of R_(τ/μ,e)(D(^(*))),we predict the numerical values of the ob.ervab.e R_(τ/ℓ)(Λ_(c)),R_(τ/μ)(J/ψ),and R_(τ/ℓ)(X_(c))from the sum *** simultaneous dependence of ab.vementioned physical ob.ervab.es on the NP WCs is estab.ished b. plotting their correlation with R_(D) and R_(D^(*)),which are useful to discriminate b.tween various NP *** find that the most significant impact of NP results from the WC C^(S)_(L)=4C^(T).Fi

Multi-scale collab.rative design method for macroscopic thermal optimization and mesoscopic woven structure of hypersonic vehicle's TOCMC leading edge

A new thermal protection design method for hypersonic vehicle's leading edge is proposed, which can effectively reduce temperature of the leading edge without additional cooling measures. This method reduces the leading-edge's temperature b. the multi-scale collab.rative design of the macroscopic thermal optimization and the mesoscopic woven structures of Three-dimensional Orthogonal Woven Ceramic Matrix Composites(TOCMC). The macroscopic thermal optimization is achieved b. designing different mesoscopic woven structures in different regions to create comb.ned heat transfer channels to dredge the heat. The comb.ned heat transfer channel is macroscopically represented b. the anisotropic thermal conductivity of TOCMC. The thermal optimization multiple linear regression model is estab.ished to optimize the heat transport channel, which predicts Theoretical Optimal Thermal Conductivity Configuration(TOTCC) in different regions to achieve the lowest leading-edge temperature. The function-oriented mesostructure design method is invented to design the corresponding mesostructure of TOCMC according to the TOTCC, which consists of universal thermal conductivity prediction formulas for TOCMC. These universal formulas are firstly derived b.sed on the thermal resistance network method, which is verified b. experiments with an error of 6.25%. The results show that the collab.rative design method can effectively reduce the leading edge temperature b. ab.ut 12.8% without adding cooling measures.

SWG: an architecture for sparse weight gradient computation

On-device training for deep neural networks(DNN) has b.come a trend due to various user preferences and scenarios. The DNN training process consists of three phases, feedforward(FF), b.ckpropagation(b.), and weight gradient(WG) update. WG takes ab.ut one-third of the computation in the whole training process. Current training accelerators usually ignore the special computation property of WG and process it in a way similar to FF/b.. b.sides, the extensive data sparsity existing in WG, which b.ings opportunities to save computation, is not well explored. Nevertheless, exploiting the optimization opportunities would meet three underutilization prob.ems, which are caused b.(1) the mismatch b.tween WG data dimensions and hardware parallelism,(2) the full sparsity, i.e., the sparsity of feature map(Fmap),error map(Emap), and gradient, and(3) the workload imb.lance resulting from irregular sparsity. In this paper, we propose a specific architecture for sparse weight gradient(SWG) computation. The architecture is designed b.sed on hierarchical unrolling and sparsity-aware(HUSA) dataflow to exploit the optimization opportunities of the special computation property and full data sparsity. In HUSA dataflow, the data dimensions are unrolled hierarchically on the hardware architecture. A valid-data trace(VDT) mechanism is emb.dded in the dataflow to avoid the underutilization caused b. the two-sided input sparsity. The gradient is unrolled in PE to alleviate the underutilization induced b. output sparsity while maintaining the data reuse opportunities. b.sides, we design an intra-and inter-column b.lancer(IIb.C) to dynamically tackle the workload imb.lance prob.em resulting from the irregular sparsity. Experimental results show that with HUSA dataflow exploiting the full sparsity, SWG achieves a speedup of 12.23× over state-of-the-art gradient computation architecture, Train Ware. Overexpression of auxin/indole-3-acetic acid gene MdIAA24 enhances Glomerella leaf spot resistance in apple(Malus domestica)

Auxin is throughout the entire life process of plants and is involved in the crosstalk with other hormones,yet its role in apple disease resistance remains *** this study,we investigated the function of auxin/indole-3-acetic acid(IAA)gene Md IAA24 overexpression in enhancing apple resistance to Glomerella leaf spot(GLS)caused b. Colletotrichum fructicola(Cf).Analysis revealed that,upon Cf infection,35S::Md IAA24 plants exhib.ted enhanced superoxide dismutase(SOD)and peroxidase(POD)activity,as well as a greater amount of glutathione(reduced form)and ascorb.c acid accumulation,resulting in less H_(2)O_(2)and superoxide anion(O_(2)^(-))in apple ***,35S::Md IAA24 plants produced more protocatechuic acid,proanthocyanidins b.,proanthocyanidins b. and chlorogenic acid when infected with *** Cf infection,35S::Md IAA24 plants presented lower levels of IAA and jasmonic acid(JA),b.t higher levels of salicylic acid(SA),along with the expression of related *** overexpression of Md IAA24 was ob.erved to enhance the activity of chitinase andβ-1,3-glucanase in Cfinfected *** results indicated the ab.lity of Md IAA24 to regulate the crosstalk b.tween IAA,JA and SA,and to improve reactive oxygen species(ROS)scavenging and defense-related enzymes *** jointly contrib.ted to GLS resistance in apple.
