Approaching 18% efficiency of ternary organic photovoltaics with wide bandgap polymer donor and well compatible Y6 : Y6-1O as acceptor

A series of ternary organic photovoltaics(OPVs) are fabricated with one wide bandgap polymer D18-Cl as donor, and well compatible Y6 and Y6-1O as acceptor. The open-circuit-voltage(V)of ternary OPVs is monotonously increased along with the incorporation of Y6-1O, indicating that the alloy state should be formed between Y6 and Y6-1O due to their excellent compatibility. The energy loss can be minimized by incorporating Y6-1 O, leading to the VOC improvement of ternary OPVs. By finely adjusting the Y6-1O content, a power conversion efficiency of 17.91% is achieved in the optimal ternary OPVs with 30 wt% Y6-1O in acceptors, resulting from synchronously improved short-circuit-current density(JSC) of 25.87 mA cm, fill factor(FF) of 76.92% and VOC of 0.900 V in comparison with those of D18-Cl : Y6 binary OPVs. The JSC and FF improvement of ternary OPVs should be ascribed to comprehensively optimal photon harvesting, exciton dissociation and charge transport in ternary active layers. The more efficient charge separation and transport process in ternary active layers can be confirmed by the magnetophotocurrent and impedance spectroscopy experimental results, respectively. This work provides new insight into constructing highly efficient ternary OPVs with well compatible Y6 and its derivative as acceptor.

Effect of Laser Parameters on Sintered Powder Morphology

Selective laser sintering is a kind of rapid prototyping process whereby a three-dimensional part is built layerwise by laser scanning a powder. This process is highly inffuenced by powder and laser parameters such as laser power, scan rate, spot size and layer thickness. Therefore a study on fabricating a line with Fe-Ni-Cr powder on AISI H13 tool steel has been performed by selective laser sintering. In this study, fabrication was performed by experimental facilities consisting of a 200W fiber laser which can be focused to 0.08 mm and atmospheric chamber which can control atmospheric pressure with argon. The line was fabricated with various laser power, scan rate and layer thickness. Line width and surface quality were investigated. With power increase or layer thickness decrease, line width was decreased and line surface quality was improved with scan rate optimization.

Selective laser melting of Fe-Ni-Cr layer on AISI H13 tool steel

An attempt to fabricate Fe-Ni-Cr coating on AISI H13 tool steel was performed with selective laser ***-Ni-Cr coating was produced by experimental facilities consisting of a 200 W fiber laser which can be focused to 80 μm and atmospheric chamber which can control atmospheric pressure with N2 or *** layer was fabricated with various process parameters such as laser power,scan rate and fill *** quality and coating thickness were measured and *** different surface patterns,such as typeⅠ,typeⅡand type Ⅲ,are shown with various test conditions and smooth regular pattern is obtained under the conditions as 10 μm of fill spacing,50-350 mm/s of scan rate and 40 μm of fill spacing,10-150 mm/s of scan *** maximum coating thickness is increased with power elevation or scan rate drop,and average thickness of 10 μm fill spacing is lower than that of 40 μm fill spacing.

Laser surface hardening of AISI H13 tool steel

An attempt was made to improve the surface hardness and wear properties of AISI H13 tool steel through solid solution hardening and refinement of microstructures using a 200 W fiber laser as a heat generating *** hardness of laser melted zone was *** order to identify the effect of heat input on the laser melting zone,scanning conditions were *** results show that,the hardness of as-received AISI H13 tool steel is approximately Hv 240,and the hardness after laser surface heat treatment is around Hv *** hardening depth and width are increased with the increase in the heat input *** of experimental results will be considered in tooling industry.

Role of Jun amino-terminal kinase （JNK） in apoptosis of cavernosal tissue during acute phase after cavernosal nerve injury

The present study aimed to identify which mitogen-activated protein kinase （p38 or Jun amino-terminal kinase [JNK]） was involved in cavernosal apoptosis during the acute phase after cavernosal nerve crush injury （CNCI） in rats to ameliorate apoptosis of cavernosal tissue, such as smooth muscle （SM）. A total of twenty 10-week-old male Sprague-Dawley rats were divided equally into two groups： sham surgery （S） and CNCI （I）. The I group approximated the clinical situation of men undergoing radical prostatectomy using two 60-second compressions of both CNs with a microsurgical vascular clamp. At 2-week postinjury, erectile response was assessed using electrostimulation. Penile tissues were harvested for immunohistochemistry analysis of alpha-SM actin （（x-SMA）, western blot analysis, and double immunofluorescence analysis of （x-SMA and phosphorylated p38 or JNK, as well as double immunofluorescent of TUNEL and phosphorylated p38 or JNK. At 2-week postinjury, the I group had a significantly lower intracavernous pressure （ICP）/mean arterial pressure （MAP） and a lower area under the curve （AUC）/MAP than the S group. The I group also exhibited decreased immunohistochemical staining of α-SMA, an increase in the number of SM cells positive for phosphorylated JNK, an increased number of apoptotic cells positive for phosphorylated JNK, and increased JNK phosphorylation compared with the S group. However, there was no significant difference in p38 phosphorylation expression or the number of SM cells positive for phosphorylated p38 between the two groups. In conclusion, our data suggest that JNK, not p38, is involved in cavernosal apoptosis during the acute phase after partial CN damage.

Thresholdless coherence in a superradiant laser

Lasing threshold in the conventional lasers is the minimum input power required to initiate laser *** has been widely accepted that the conventional laser threshold occurring around a unity intracavity photon number can be eliminated in the input-output curve by making the so-calledβparameter approach *** recent experiments,however,have revealed that even in this case the photon statistics still undergo a transition from coherent to thermal statistics when the intracavity mean photon number is decreased below *** the coherent output is only available above the diminished threshold,the long-sought promise of thresholdless lasers to produce always coherent light has become ***,we present an always-coherent thresholdless laser based on superradiance by two-level atoms in a quantum superposition state with the same phase traversing a high-Q *** lasing was observed without the conventional lasing threshold around the unity photon number and the photon statistics remained near coherent even below *** coherence was improved by reducing the coupling constant as well as the excited-state amplitude in the superposition *** results pave a way toward always-coherent thresholdless lasers with more practical media such as quantum dots,nitrogen-vacancy centers and doped ions in crystals.

The perovskite Cr-doped La0.6Sr0.4CrxFe1-xO3-δ （x=0.10, 0.20） oxides were synthesized via the citrate gel method. The perovskite forming of the Lao.6Sr0.4CrxFel-xO3-δ （x=0.10, 0.20） oxides were studied by ther- mogravimetric analysis （TG）, differential scanning calorimetry （DSC）, and X-ray diffraction （XRD）. Structural and chemical stability under H2-containing helium atmospheres of Lao.6Sro.4CrxFel-xO3-δ （x=0.10, 0.20） were investigated by TG and XRD. The sintering microstructures of the perovskite Lao.6Sr0.4Cr2Fel-xO3-δ （x--0.10, 0.20） ceramics were investigated by scanning electron microscopy （SEM）, and the electrical conduc- tivities of both oxide ceramics were also measured up to 900℃. The results demonstrated that the chemical stability of the Co-free ***.4CrxFe1-xO3-δ （x=0.10, 0.20） oxides was significantly improved compared to the Co-containing Lao.6Sr0.4C00.2Fe0.8O3-δ and Ba0.5Sr0.5Co0.8Fe0.2O3-δ oxides. The incorporation of Cr cations in the B-site of the pervoskite oxides resulted in the improved structural and chemical stability of the as-synthesized Lao.6Sr0.4CrxFe1-xO3-δ （x=0.10, 0.20） oxides.

Development of oxide dispersion strengthened ferritic steels with and without aluminum

Pure Fe, Cr, AI, Ti elemental powders and prealloyed Y203 powder were processed by high energy mechanical milling. The compositions of the mixed powders are designed as Fe-18Cr-0.2Ti-0.35Y2O3 and Fe-18Cr-5Al-0.2Ti-0.35Y2O3 in weight percent. The asmilled powders were consolidated by hot extrusion at 1423 K. The dispersed oxide particles were identified to be titania ＋ yttria for Al-free oxide dispersion strengthened （ODS） steel and alumina ＋ yttria for Al-added ODS steel, respectively. The ultimate tensile strength of Al-free ODS steel was higher than that of Al-added ODS steel over the temperature range of 298-973 K, because of the difference in number density and size of thermally stable oxide particles dispersed in both steel matrices. The strength in the longitudinal direction was lower than that in the transverse direction, probably due to anisotropy of the microstructure with elongated grains in the hot-extrusion direction for the 18%Cr-ODS steels with and without 5% Al.

A flexible electromagnetic interference(EMI)shielding film was innovatively fabricated using both low melting temperature solder arrays and amorphous soft magnet particulates consolidated on a polyethylene terephthalate(PET)***,the IneSneBi solder arrays presented a low melting point of 99.4C,which enabled attachment to the heat-sensitive plastic substrate without any thermal damage,and a low electrical resistivity of 14.1 mU cm,making them very effective at interrupting EM ***,the solder arrays with a high thermal conductivity of 61.2 W/(m$K)at 298.15 K were also useful as a thermal conductor for a heat ***,the solder arrays provide efficient electrical and thermal channels for electron transport induced by abruptly or consistently created EM waves due to suddenly turning on and the long term operation of electronics,***,the Fe-based magnetic particulates were added and resulted in effective saturation magnetization of 161.1 emu/g,remanence of 2.9 emu/g,and coercivity of 12.5 G,thus were able to disturb the EM pathway because of their soft magnetic ***,the hybrid EMI shielding film with exceptionally high electrical and thermal conductivity and superior soft magnetic properties provided remarkable shielding effectiveness of 102.5 dB at 10.2 GHz.
