Dielectric metasurface evolution from bulk to monolayer by strong coupling of quasi-BICs for second harmonic boosting

2D materials are promising candidates as nonlinear optical components for on-chip devices due to their ultrathin structure. In general, their nonlinear optical responses are inherently weak due to the short interaction thickness with light. Recently, there has been great interest in using quasi-bound states in the continuum (q-BICs) of dielectric metasurfaces, which are able to achieve remarkable optical near-field enhancement for elevating the second harmonic generation (SHG) emission from 2D materials. However, most studies focus on the design of combining bulk dielectric metasurfaces with unpatterned 2D materials, which suffer considerable radiation loss and limit near-field enhancement by high-quality q-BIC resonances. Here, we investigate the dielectric metasurface evolution from bulk silicon to monolayer molybdenum disulfide (MoS2), and discover the critical role of meta-atom thickness design on enhancing near-field effects of two q-BIC modes. We further introduce the strongcoupling of the two q-BIC modes by oblique incidence manipulation, and enhance the localized optical field on monolayer MoS2dramatically. In the ultraviolet and visible regions, the MoS2SHG enhancement factor of our design is 105times higher than that of conventional bulk metasurfaces, leading to an extremely high nonlinear conversion efficiency of 5.8%. Our research will provide an important theoretical guide for the design of high-performance nonlinear devices based on 2D materials.

Surface acoustic wave(SAW)resonators based on lithium tantalate(LT,LiTaO_(3))wafers are crucial elements of mobile communication *** use of intrinsic LT wafers typically brings about low fabrication accuracy of SAW resonators due to strong UV reflection in the lithography *** hinders their resonance frequency control seriously in industrial *** doping and chemical reduction could be applied to decrease the UV reflection of LT wafers for high lithographic ***,conventional methods fail to provide a fast and nondestructive approach to identify the UV performance of standard single-side polished LT wafers for highprecision frequency ***,we propose a convenient on-line sensing scheme based on the colorimetry of reduced Fe-doped LT wafers and build up an automatic testing system for industrial *** levels of Fe doping and chemical reduction are evaluated by the lightness and color difference of LT-based *** correlation between the wafer visible colorimetry and UV reflection is established to refine the lithography process and specifically manipulate the frequency performance of SAW *** study provides a powerful tool for the fabrication control of SAW resonators and will inspire more applications on sophisticated devices of mobile communication.

RNA interfering therapy has emerged as a promising therapeutic modality to treat *** specific and efficient delivery of RNA into a tumor is crucial for achieving effective cancer gene therapy but remains a huge ***,we report a novel furin-responsive small interfering RNA(siRNA)delivery vehicle with multiple functions for colorectal tumor treatment.A peptide-based siRNA delivery vehicle RVRR-P18-Gd,consisting of furin enzyme-specific peptide substrate Arg-Val-Arg-Arg(RVRR)with positive charge for siRNA binding,a Gd(III)chelated 1,4,7,10-tetraazacyclododecane-N,N′,N″,N‴-tetraacetic acid(DOTA)(DOTA-Gd)for magnetic resonance imaging,and purpurin 18 as photosensitizer for photodynamic therapy(PDT),was rationally designed and *** advantage of the cationic amphiphilic feature,RVRR-P18-Gd molecules spontaneously self-assembled with negatively charged Hif-1αsiRNA into stable nanoparticles via attractive electrostatic interaction,which effectively prevented siRNA degradation by nucleases,prolonged the circulation half-life,and enhanced tumor ***,the specific release of Hif-1αsiRNA mediated by endogenous furin significantly downregulated Hif-1αexpression in colorectal cancer cells,resulting in enhanced therapeutic susceptibility,and with the PDT effect,effectively suppressed HCT116 tumor growth in living *** work highlights a powerful and universal approach to precisely deliver siRNA to targeted tumors for efficient synergistic therapy.

基于资源依赖和社会交换理论视角,以沪深A股上市公司为样本,研究企业参与精准扶贫对信贷资源获取的影响。研究发现:参与精准扶贫有助于企业获得更多的信贷资源,且对民营企业更显著;当民营企业具有政治关联时,正向影响增强。进一步研究表明,参与精准扶贫的企业也获得了更多的政府补贴支持。提出从制度创新、科学制定和规范扶贫优惠政策等方面进行改革,推动我国贫困治理从“运动式”向“制度性”治理转变,推进民营企业扶贫模式的转型升级。

Extremely narrow resonant linewidths in metal-dielectric heterostructures

Plasmonic high-quality factor resonators with narrow surface plasmon resonance(SPR)linewidths are extremely significant for surface-enhanced Raman scattering,optical sensors,imaging,and color ***,extensive research on narrowing SPR linewidths is mainly based on noble metal nanostructures that are restricted by intrinsic ***,heterostructures consisting of metal and dielectric metaphotonics are experimentally designed and fabricated for elaborating SPR *** results demonstrate that the SPR linewidths can be narrowed by 66.7%relative to that of aluminum *** resonant linewidths are directly shrunk due to the interaction between low loss in the semiconductor nanostructures and electromagnetic confinement in the metal ***,the resonant wavelength governed by heterostructure configurations shifts from600 to 930 *** work will pave an avenue toward controlling resonant linewidths of metaldielectric heterostructures for numerous applications.

国有企业在我国国民经济中具有特殊重要的地位和作用,践行ESG理念对于引领国企高质量发展具有重要意义。文中采用扎根理论研究方法,构建了国有企业ESG实践与共享价值创造的理论框架,分析了ESG行为提升企业价值创造能力的作用机制。以中央企业华润电力为案例对象,通过对华润电力文本和数据资料的编译研究,研究证实:华润电力基于服务国家战略、回应用户诉求和探索商业机会三个履责动因,从环境管理、社会责任与公司治理三方面践行ESG理念,从而影响利益相关者选择,在这一过程中既创造了社会价值,又实现了商业价值,实现了共享价值创造。丰富了企业ESG行为经济后果的研究,为国有企业推进低碳转型,创造共享价值,实现高质量发展提供了案例证据和参考。

Enhancing THz fingerprint detection on the planar surface of an inverted dielectric metagrating

Terahertz(THz)molecular fingerprint sensing provides a powerful label-free tool for the detection of traceamount *** to the weak light–matter interaction,various metallic or dielectric metasurfaces have been adopted to enhance fingerprint absorbance ***,they suffer from strong background damping or complicated sample coating on patterned ***,we propose an inverted dielectric metagrating and enhance the broadband THz fingerprint detection of trace analytes on a planar sensing *** of the broadband signal originates from the effects of evanescent waves at the planar interface,which are excited by multiplexed quasi-bound states in the continuum(quasi-BICs).One can evenly boost the near-field intensities within the analytes by tuning the asymmetry parameter of quasi-BIC *** multiplexing mechanism of broadband detection is demonstrated by manipulating the incident angle of excitation waves and thickness of the waveguide *** to the conventional approach,the THz fingerprint peak value is dramatically elevated,and the largest peak enhancement time is *** work gives a promising way to facilitate the metasensing of the THz fingerprint on a planar surface and will inspire universal THz spectral analysis for trace analytes with different physical states or morphologies.

Wearable Leg Movement Monitoring System for High-Precision Real-Time Metabolic Energy Estimation and Motion Recognition

Comprehensive and quantitative assessment of human physical activity in daily life is valuable for healthcare,especially for those who suffer from obesity and neurological disorders or are at high risk of *** wearable devices,e.g.,smartwatches,are insufficient and inaccurate for monitoring highly dynamic limb movements and assessing human ***,we report a new wearable leg movement monitoring system incorporating a custom-made motion sensor with machine learning algorithm to perceive human motion accurately and comprehensively during diverse walking and running *** system enables real-time multimodal perceptions of personal identity,motion state,locomotion speed,and energy expenditure for wearers.A general law of extracting real-time metabolic energy from leg movements is verified although individual gaits show *** addition,we propose a novel sensing configuration combining unilateral lower leg movement velocity with its angular rate to achieve high accuracy and good generalizability while simplifying the wearable *** performances in personal identification(accuracy of 98.7%)and motion-state recognition(accuracy of 93.7%)are *** wearable system also exhibites high-precision real-time estimations of locomotion speed(error of 3.04%to 9.68%)and metabolic energy(error of 4.18%to 14.71%)for new subjects across various time-varying *** wearable system allows reliable leg movement monitoring and quantitative assessment of bodily kinematic and kinetic behaviors during daily activities,as well as safe identity authentication by gait parameters,which would greatly facilitate smart life,personal healthcare,and rehabilitation training.
