Background Current guidelines support primary percutaneous coronary intervention （primary PCI） as the first treatment of choice （as opposed to thrombolytic therapy） for patients with acute ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction （STEMI） especially when delivered within 12 hours of symptom onset. We aimed to evaluate the impact of different clinical pathways on reduction of reperfusion delay and subsequent improvement in outcomes in patients with STEMI. Methods From November 2005 to November 2007, 546 consecutive patients with definite STEMI, who upon arrival at the emergency room were triaged to undergo primary PCI, were included. Of them, 271 patients were brought directly to catheterization laboratory （rapid group）, and 275 patients were admitted to the coronary care unit （CCU） or cardiac ward first, and then transferred to the catheterization laboratory （non-rapid group）. Primary endpoint was door-to-balloon （D2B） time, and secondary endpoints included infarct size assessed by peak CK-MB level and rates of major cardiac adverse events （MACE） including death, reinfarction, or target-vessel revascularization during hospitalization and at 30-day clinical follow-up.Results Baseline clinical characteristics, angiographic features and procedural success rates were comparable between the two groups, except that more patients received glycoprotein lib/Ilia receptor inhibitors before angiography （84.0% and 77.1, P=0.042） and had TIMI 3 flow in the culprit vessel at initial angiogram （17.1% and 9.2%, P=0.007） in the non-rapid group. The D2B time was shortened （（108±44） minutes and （138±31） minutes, P 〈0.0001）, and number of patients with D2B time 〈90 minutes was greater （22.6% and 10.9%, P 〈0.0001） in the rapid group. The advantages associated with rapid intra-hospital transfer were enhanced if the patients presented to the hospital at regular hours. Peak CK-MB level was significantly reduced in the rapid group. Background Randomized, controlled trials have demonstrated the superiority of sirolimus-eluting stent （SES） implantation during primary percutaneous coronary intervention （PCI）, as opposed to bare-metal stents, in patients with ST-elevation myocardial infarction （STEMI）. This study aimed to test the hypothesis that clinical benefits of SES treatment were independent of gender in this *** A total of 2042 patients with STEMI undergoing SES-based primary PCI were prospectively enrolled into Shanghai Acute Coronary Event （SACE） registry （1574 men and 468 women）. Baseline demographics, angiographic and PCI features, and in-hospital and 30-day major adverse cardiac events （MACE） were analyzed as a function of gender. Results Compared with men, women were older and more frequently had hypertension, diabetes, and hypercholesterolemia. Use of platelet glycoprotein IIb/IIIa receptor inhibitor （GPI, 65.5% vs. 62.2%, P=0.10） and procedural success rate （95.0% vs. 94.2%, P=0.52） were similar in both genders. In-hospital death and MACE occurred in 3.8% and 7.6%, and 4.5% and 8.1% in the male and female patients, respectively （all P 〉0.05）. At 30-day follow-up, survival （94.3% vs. 93.8%, P=0.66） and MACE-free survival （90.2% vs. 89.3%, P=0.52） did not significantly differ between men and women. After adjustment for differences in patient demographics, angiographic and proceduralfeatures, there were no significant difference in either in-hospital （OR=0.77, 95%C/ of 0.48 to 1.22, P=0.30） or 30-day mortality （OR=1.28, 95%C/ of 0.73 to 2.23, P=0.38） between women and *** Despite more advanced age and clustering of risk factors in women, female patients with STEMI treated by SES-based primary PCI had similar in-hospital and short-term clinical outcomes as their male counterparts.

Active Magnetic Bearing(AMB) is a kind of electromagnetic support that makes the rotor movement frictionless and can suppress rotor vibration by controlling the magnetic force. The most common approach to restrain the rotor vibration in AMBs is to adopt a notch filter or adaptive filter in the AMB controller. However, these methods cannot obtain the precise amplitude and phase of the compensation current. Thus, they are not so effective in terms of suppressing the vibrations of the fundamental and other harmonic orders over the whole speed range. To improve the vibration suppression performance of AMBs,an adaptive filter based on Least Mean Square(LMS) is applied to extract the vibration signals from the rotor displacement signal. An Iterative Search Algorithm(ISA) is proposed in this paper to obtain the corresponding relationship between the compensation current and vibration signals. The ISA is responsible for searching the compensating amplitude and shifting phase online for the LMS filter, enabling the AMB controller to generate the corresponding compensation force for vibration suppression. The results of ISA are recorded to suppress vibration using the Look-Up Table(LUT) in variable speed range. Comprehensive simulations and experimental validations are carried out in fixed and variable speed range, and the results demonstrate that by employing the ISA, vibrations of the fundamental and other harmonic orders are suppressed effectively.

This paper investigates the impact of flue gas desulfurization(FGD)gypsum's crystal modifier on the characteristics and microcosmic mechanism ofα-high strength *** results demonstrate that all three crystal modifiers can convert FGD gypsum toα-high-strength *** acid(CA)has the most significant influence onα-high-strength gypsum,and the preparedα-high-strength gypsum is short columnar,with an aspect ratio in the range of 1-3,and has a faster setting time,a larger specific surface area,and a smaller standard consistency,higher compressive strength,greater surface hardness,and smaller crystal particle *** initial setting time of theα-high-strength gypsum manufactured with CA crystal modifier was decreased by 36%compared to the blank sample,the final setting time was lowered by 37.5%,and the water consumption of the standard consistency was reduced by 8%.The maximum strength is 32 MPa after 2 h,the absolute dry compressive strength is up to 38 MPa,and the surface hardness is improved by 24.43%.
