A Combination of N2 and CO2 Adsorption to Characterize Nanopore Structure of Organic-Rich Lower Silurian Shale in the Upper Yangtze Platform, South China： Implications for Shale Gas Sorption Capacity

The pores in shales are mainly of nanometer-scale, and their pore size distribution is very important for the preservation and exploitation of shale gas. This study focused on the organic-rich Lower Silurian black shale from four wells in the Upper Yangtze Platform, and their TOC, mineralogical composition and pore characterization were investigated. Low pressure N2 and CO2 adsorption were conducted at 77.35 K and 273.15 K, respectively, and the pore structures were characterized by modified Brunauer-Emmett-Teller （BET）, Dubinin-Radushkevich （DR）, t-plot, Barrett- Joyner-Halenda （BJH） and density functional theory （DFT） methods and then the relationship between pore structure and shale gas sorption capacity was discussed. The results indicate that （1） The Lower Silurian shale has high TOC content of 0.92%~96%, high quartz content of 30.6%-69.5%, and high clays content of 24.1%-51.2%. The total specific surface area varies from 7.56 m^2/g to 25.86 m^2/g. Both the total specific surface area and quartz content are positively associated with the TOC content. （2） Shale samples with higher TOC content have more micropores, which results in more complex nanopore structure. Micropore volumes/surface areas and non-micropore surface areas all increase with the increasing TOC content. （3） A combination of N2 and CO2 adsorption provides the most suitable detection range （~0.3-60 nm） and has high reliability and accuracy for nanopore structure characterization. （4） The TOC content is the key factor to control the gas sorption capacity of the Lower Silurian shale in the Upper Yangtze Platform.

Origin of Oils in“Subtle pools”in the Dongying Depression,Bohai Bay Basin, China

Subtle traps or oil pools have become an important exploration play in the Dongying Depression, Bohai Bay Basin, east China. Despite recent successes in exploration, the formation mechanisms of subtle traps are still not well understood. The majority of subtle oil pools in the Dongying Depression are developed in the middle interval of the Es3 Member of the Paleogene Shahejie Formation with the subtle traps being primarily of lenticular basin-floor turbidite sands encompassed in mudstones. Oil in the subtle traps was previously thought to have migrated directly from the surrounding source rocks of the same formation （Es3）. Detailed geochemical investigation of 41 oils and 41 rock samples from the depression now indicates that the oils from the subtle traps cannot be correlated well with the surrounding Es3 source rocks, which are characterized by high Pr/ Ph （〉1）, low Gammacerane/C30hopane, representing a freshwater lacustrine setting. In contrast the oils features low Pr/Ph （〈1） and relatively high Gammacerane content, showing a genetic affinity with the underlying Es4 source rocks, which also have the same qualities, indicating a brackish lacustrine setting. Oils in the Es3 subtle traps are probably derived from mixed sources with the contribution from the upper Es4 source rocks predominating. Therefore unconventional oil migration and accumulation mechanisms need to be invoked to explain the pooling of oils from the ES4 source rocks, which probably came through a thick low interval of the Es3 source rocks with no apparent structural or stratigraphic pathways. We suggest that the subtle oil migration pathway probably plays an important role here. This finding may have significant implications for future exploration and the remaining resource evaluation in the Dongying Depression.

Numerical modelling for leak oil flow in tunnel of the cave storage

Oil storage in cavern tank is one of the important ways of oil storage.More than 80%of the oil tanks in the cave storage have been used for around 30 years in China and leakage accidents are likely to occur.When it occurs,the motor closing facilities preventing leakage spreading should be set up.The leaking oil flow characteristic in tunnel must be known for setting up the motor closing facilities.Based on the open-channel unsteady flow theory,a numerical model of tank leakage coupling the oil flow in tunnel was developed,and the characteristic line method was used to solve the model under the given initial condition and boundary condition.The variation of the depth and flow rate with time of oil flowing in the tunnel can be obtained.In order to verify the accuracy of model,the measurement data of high accuracy experimental system for unsteady open-channel flow were conducted to compare with the calculation.It fully confirms the high precision of the numerical model and reflects the variation characteristics of each hydraulic parameter in the numerical model of unsteady open channel flow truly.And then,the leaking oil flow characteristic in tunnel was obtained.It is that the farther from the leaking tank,the lower depth and flow rate of the oil in the tunnel revealed.Furthermore,the effect of the size of oil tank crack on the depth and flow rate was investigated.The greater size of crack makes the oil flow rate higher and the oil deeper in the tunnel and flow faster.

Dynamic Field Division of Hydrocarbon Migration,Accumulation and Hydrocarbon Enrichment Rules in Sedimentary Basins

Hydrocarbon distribution rules in the deep and shallow parts of sedimentary basins are considerably different, particularly in the following four aspects. First, the critical porosity for hydrocarbon migration is much lower in the deep parts of basins： at a depth of 7000 m, hydrocarbons can accumulate only in rocks with porosity less than 5%. However, in the shallow parts of basins （i.e., depths of around 1000 m）, hydrocarbon can accumulate in rocks only when porosity is over 20%. Second, hydrocarbon reservoirs tend to exhibit negative pressures after hydrocarbon accumulation at depth, with a pressure coefficient less than 0.7. However, hydrocarbon reservoirs at shallow depths tend to exhibit high pressure after hydrocarbon accumulation. Third, deep reservoirs tend to exhibit characteristics of oil （-gas）-water inversion, indicating that the oil （gas） accumulated under the water. However, the oil （gas） tends to accumulate over water in shallow reservoirs. Fourth, continuous unconventional tight hydrocarbon reservoirs are distributed widely in deep reservoirs, where the buoyancy force is not the primary dynamic force and the caprock is not involved during the process of hydrocarbon accumulation. Conversely, the majority of hydrocarbons in shallow regions accumulate in traps with complex structures. The results of this study indicate that two dynamic boundary conditions are primarily responsible for the above phenomena： a lower limit to the buoyancy force and the lower limit of hydrocarbon accumulation overall, corresponding to about 10%-12% porosity and irreducible water saturation of 100%, respectively. These two dynamic boundary conditions were used to divide sedimentary basins into three different dynamic fields of hydrocarbon accumulation： the free fluid dynamic field, limit fluid dynamic field, and restrain fluid dynamic field. 针对聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯(PET)中的导热结构会影响纤维材料加工成形、纺织品加工过程以及纤维性能的问题,通过熔融共混法分别制备得到含有碳纳米管、石墨烯的PET复合材料,借助差示扫描量热仪对PET的非等温结晶动力学进行研究。结果表明:掺杂的碳纳米管、石墨烯在PET中起成核剂作用,其质量分数的增加对PET的结晶温度、结晶速率及结晶度具有促进作用;由Kissinger方程计算得到的纯PET和掺杂碳纳米管、石墨烯的PET复合材料的结晶活化能分别为-95.23、-160.27和-176.79 kJ/mol,结晶活化能的绝对值增加促进大分子分子链运动而使结晶过程放热加快;碳纳米管、石墨烯对PET的结晶速率、成核具有促进作用,其中石墨烯的二维片状导热结构对PET的结晶更有利。

目的为解决困扰梁-墙节点连接的难题,提出一种新型粱-墙平面外连接节点方式——梁靴螺栓连接节点,并对其承载力进行试验研究。方法根据梁靴的不同锚固长度,制作了3组12个新型粱-墙平面外连接节点试件,并分别进行拉拔和剪切试验,探究不同条件下承载力变化规律。结果拉拔试验中,随锚固长度的增加,节点的拉拔承载力分别提高了80.12%和122.63%;剪切试验中,随锚固长度的增加,节点的剪切承载力分别提高了40.94%和102.75%。结论梁靴螺栓连接方式节点能够满足设计要求,并且随着梁靴锚固长度增加,抗拉承载力和抗剪承载力均有提高,极限位移更大,节点的延性也更好。

Influenza virus (IAV)infection is a major cause of severe respiratory illness that affects almost every country in the world.IAV infections result in respiratory illness and even acute lung injury and death,but the underlying mechanisms responsible for IAV pathogenesis have not yet been fully elucidated.In this study,the basic fibroblast growth factor 2 (FGF2)level was markedly increased in H1N1 virus-infected humans and mice.FGF2,which is predominately derived from epithelial cells,recruits and activates neutrophils via the FGFR2-PI3K-AKT-NFKB signaling pathway.FGF2 depletion or knockout exacerbated influenzaassociated disease by impairing neutrophil recruitment and activation.More importantly,administration of the recombinant FGF2 protein significantly aUeviated the severity of IAV-induced lung injury and promoted the survival of IAV-infected mice.Based on the results from experiments in which neutrophils were depleted and adoptively transferred,FGF2 protected mice against IAV , infection by recruiting neutrophils.Thus,FGF2 plays a critical role in preventing IAV-induced lung injury,and FGF2 is a promising potential therapeutic target during IAV infection.

Quantitative prediction of mixed-source crude oils and its significance for understanding oil accumulation in subtle pools in the Dongying Depression,Bohai Bay Basin

Conventional geochemical approaches were utilized in the quantitative prediction of the proportions of mixed-source crude oils derived from the Es3 and ES4 members of the Paleogene Shahejie Formation. The mixed-source oils are accumulated in the middle interval of the Es3 member （Es3 M） in the Niuzhuang Sag, which is one of the sags where subtle traps are primarily of lenticular basin-floor turbidite sands within mudstones mostly developed in the Dongying Depression, Bohai Bay Basin. The result showed that about 18-92% of the mixed-source oils were derived from the Es4 source rocks with an average of 55-60%）. Reservoirs associated with deep faults appear to have much more Es4 genetic affinity oils. A high proportion of the Es4-derived oils discovered in the Es3 M subtle lithological traps in the Niuzhuang Sag have long migration distances. This suggests that surrounding source rocks might not necessarily control the hydrocarbon supply for subtle traps. Subtle migration pathway may play an important role in the vertical oil migration. The traditional concept of hydrocarbons accumulation in these tenticular turbidite sandstone traps within a short migration distance from the surrounding source rocks is not supported by this study. The present result is also consistent with our previous findings that immature oils in the Bamianhe Oilfield in the south slope of the Niuzhuang Sag were actually mixed-source oils mostly sourced from the Es4 in the depocenter of the Niuzhuang Sag, and the petroleum potential of the ES4 member in the Dongying Depression should therefore be re-evaluated.

310例慢性乙型肝炎患者肝脏炎症及纤维化的临床病理特征

目的:长期的乙型肝炎病毒(hepatitis B virus,HBV)感染可引起肝脏反复出现炎症坏死,进而发展为肝纤维化、肝硬化甚至肝癌。肝脏病理改变程度是指导慢性乙型肝炎(chronic hepatitis B,CHB)患者抗病毒治疗的重要依据之一。由于肝穿刺活检临床使用的局限性,有必要寻找到更好的无创性指标以评估CHB患者的肝脏病变程度,指导抗病毒治疗。本研究旨在分析CHB患者不同程度肝脏病变的临床特征,并探索谷丙转氨酶(alanine aminotransferase,ALT)正常的CHB患者肝脏炎症及纤维化程度的影响因素。方法:回顾性纳入完善肝脏病理活体组织检查(以下简称“活检”)的CHB患者310例。收集患者临床资料,以肝脏病理活检结果为金标准,分析总体样本相关临床指标与肝脏病理改变程度的关系。筛选ALT正常的CHB患者,探索影响其肝脏炎症及纤维化程度的独立危险因素。结果:310例CHB患者中,显著性肝脏炎症[肝脏炎症程度分级(liver inflammation grade,G)≥2]和显著性肝纤维化[肝纤维化程度分期(liver fibrosis stage,S)≥2]的患者分别为249例(80.3%)和119例(38.4%)。总体样本单因素分析结果显示:ALT、谷氨酰转肽酶、碱性磷酸酶水平以及HBV DNA定量与显著性肝脏病理改变(G/S≥2)相关(均P2000 U/mL(OR=3.592,95%CI 1.534~8.409);显著性肝纤维化的独立危险因素为碱性磷酸酶升高(OR=1.022,95%CI 1.002~1.043)、血小板计数降低(OR=0.990,95%CI 0.982~0.998)及乙型肝炎e抗原(hepatitis B e antigen,HBeAg)阳性(OR=14.845,95%CI 4.898~44.995)。根据多因素分析建立ALT正常的CHB患者显著性肝纤维化诊断模型,并绘制受试者操作特征曲线,曲线下面积为0.844(95%CI 0.779~0.910)。结论:肝脏的病理改变程度需综合不同临床指标进行评估。ALT正常的CHB患者中仍有相当一部分存在肝脏显著病理改变,需及时识别并进行抗病毒治疗。在这部分患者中,HBV DNA定量>2000 U/mL提示存在显著性肝脏炎症;而基于碱性磷酸酶、血小板计数及HBeAg水平建立的显著性肝纤维化诊断模型有助于评估肝脏纤维化程度。
