ZnSe Nanoparticles were synthesized by solvothermal method and the particle was characterized by Transmission Electron Microscopy. The polymer nanocomposite of 2% and 4% ZnSe/EVA was fabricated by direct sonicator method. The nanocomposites were characterized by UV-Vis-NIR and FT-IR spectroscopy. The thermal behaviour of the samples was also investigated and we found that the thermal stability of the composites increased with increasing the filler concentrations. The mechanical properties such as tensile strength, peel strength and refractive index of the samples were also studied and reported for the first.

We calculate the energy levels of He+ ion placed in a uniform magnetic field directed perpendicular to the direction of its center of mass (CM) velocity vector, correct to relative order . Our calculations are within the frame work of an approximately relativistic theory, correct to relative order , of a two-particle composite system bound by electromagnetic forces, and written in terms of the position, momentum and spin operators of the constituent particles as proposed by Krajcik and Foldy, and also by Close and Osborn. Since the He+ ion has a net electric charge, the total or the CM momentum is not conserved and a neat separation of the CM and the internal motion is not possible. What is new in our approach is that, for the basis states in a first order degenerate perturbation theory to calculate the effects of the external magnetic field, we use the direct product of the coherent state of the Landau Hamiltonian of the He+ ion in a uniform magnetic field and of the simultaneous eigenstate of the internal Hamiltonian h, j2, l2, s2 and jz,?where j, l and s are the internal total, orbital and spin angular moments of the He+ ion. The coherent state is an excellent approximation to the expected classical circular motion of the center of mass (CM) of the He+ ion. In addition to the Z2 a2 corrections to the usual nonrelativistic results, including the small corrections due to the nuclear motion, we also obtain corrections which depend on the kinetic energy (ECM ) of the CM circular motion of the He+ ion, in a nontrivial way. Even though these corrections are proportional to , where M is the mass of the He+ ion, and are small for nonrelativistic CM motion, the results should be verifiable in careful experiments. Our results may also have application in astrophysical observations of the spectral lines of He+ ions in magnetized astrophysical objects.

Forward engineering synthetic circuits are at the core of synthetic *** solutions will be required to facilitate circuit design and *** design is increasingly being automated with design software,but innovations in experimental automation are lagging *** technologies made it possible to perform in vitro transcription-translation(tx-tl)reactions with increasing throughput and sophistication,enabling screening and characterization of individual circuit elements and complete circuit ***,we developed an automated microfluidic cell-free processing unit(CFPU)that extends highthroughput screening capabilities to a steady-state reaction environment,which is essential for the implementation and analysis of more complex and dynamic *** CFPU contains 280 chemostats that can be individually programmed with DNA *** chemostat is periodically supplied with tx-tl reagents,giving rise to sustained,long-term steady-state *** microfluidic pulse width modulation(PWM),the device is able to generate tx-tl reagent compositions in real *** device has higher throughput,lower reagent consumption,and overall higher functionality than current chemostat *** applied this technology to map transcription factor-based repression under equilibrium conditions and implemented dynamic gene circuits switchable by small *** expect the CFPU to help bridge the gap between circuit design and experimental automation for in vitro development of synthetic gene circuits.

DEAR EDITOR,Currently,the genus Polypedates comprises 26 species distributed in South,Southeast,and East *** of their relatively low dispersal capability and intolerance to seawater,this genus is ideal for the study of terrestrial range evolution that extends into the island archipelagos of southeastern *** this study,based on data compiled for Polypedates from previous studies and partial mitochondrial and nuclear genes collected in this study,we performed systematic biogeographical *** confirmed a Sundaland origin for the extant genus and showed northward dispersal into mainland Southeast Asia and Asia,which coincided with the timing of paleoclimatic change from the Oligocene to Middle *** fluctuations had a profound impact on species diversification within the genus ***,the Red River did not mediate species exchange between Southeast Asia and mainland Asia until the end of the Miocene,with the sudden onset of northward dispersal in several clades independently at that ***,the lineage of widespread insular *** strongly supports the hypothesis of terrestrial connection between island archipelagos of Southeast Asia during the Mid-Pleistocene paleoclimate *** biogeographical analysis also supports the recent introduction of *** to the Philippines and Ryukyus,as previously suggested.
