The expanding amounts of information created by Internet of Things(IoT)devices places a strain on cloud computing,which is often used for data analysis and *** paper investigates a different approach based on edge cloud applications,which involves data filtering and processing before being delivered to a backup cloud *** Paper suggest designing and implementing a low cost,low power cluster of Single Board Computers(SBC)for this purpose,reducing the amount of data that must be transmitted elsewhere,using Big Data ideas and *** Apache Hadoop and Spark Cluster that was used to run a test application was containerized and deployed using a Raspberry Pi cluster and *** obtain system data and analyze the setup’s performance a Prometheusbased stack monitoring and alerting solution in the cloud based market is *** Paper assesses the system’s complexity and demonstrates how containerization can improve fault tolerance and maintenance ease,allowing the suggested solution to be used in *** evaluation of the overall performance is presented to highlight the capabilities and limitations of the suggested architecture,taking into consideration the suggested solution’s resource use in respect to device restrictions.

Comprehensive comparison and analysis of the tidal gravity observations obtained with superconducting gravimeters at stations in China,Belgium and France

The long-term tidal gravity observations of about 27 a obtained with superconducting gravimeters (SG) at stations in Wuhan (China), Brussels (Belgium) and Strasbourg (France) are analyzed comprehensively. The quality factors of these observations at various stations are obtained and the tidal parameters are determined accurately. The efficiency when using various procedures on improving accuracy of the tidal parameters is discussed. The loading corrections on tidal parameters are carried out based on the global ocean tidal models. The correlations between the observed residuals and air pressure change are studied, the atmospheric gravity admittances in both temporal and frequency domains are determined, and the possible reasons of inducing the discrepancy between the observed tidal parameters and those in the standard tidal models are studied.

Electrostatic-Aerodynamic Compression in Hypersonic Cylindrical Inlet

Hypersonic magneto-fluid-dynamic interaction has been successfully performed as a virtual leading-edge strake and a virtual cowl of a rectangular *** a side-by-side experimental and computational study,the magnitude of the induced compression was found to depend on configuration and electrode *** better understand the interacting phenomenon the present investigation is focused on a direct current discharge at the leading edge of a cylindrical inlet for which validating experimental data is *** present computational result is obtained by solving the magneto-fluid-dynamics equations at the low magnetic Reynolds number limit and using a nonequilibrium weakly ionized gas model based on the drift-diffusion *** numerical simulation provides a detailed description of the intriguing *** validation with experimental measurements,the computed results further quantify the effectiveness of a magneto-fluid-dynamic compression for a hypersonic cylindrical inlet.A minuscule power input to a direct current surface discharge of 8.14 watts per square centimeter of electrode area produces an additional compression of 6.7 percent for a constant cross-section cylindrical inlet.

Hysteresis loop behaviors of ferroelectric thin films: A Monte Carlo simulation study

The ferroelectric response of bismuth titanate Bi4Ti3O12 （BIT） thin film is studied through a Monte Carlo simulation of hysteresis loops. The ferroelectric system is described by using a Diffour Hamiltonian with three terms： the electric field applied in the z direction, the nearest dipole-dipole interaction in the transversal （x-y） direction, and the nearest dipole-dipole interaction in the direction perpendicular to the thin film （the z axis）. In the sample construction, we take into consideration the dipole orientations of the monoclinic and orthorhombic structures that can appear in BIT at low temperature in the ferroelectric state. The effects of temperature, stress, and the concentration of pinned dipole defects are assessed by using the hysteresis loops. The results indicate the changes in the hysteresis area with temperature and stress, and the asymmetric hysteresis loops exhibit evidence of the imprint failure mechanism with the emergence of pinned dipolar defects. The simulated shift in the hysteresis loops conforms to the experimental ferroelectric response.

Conforming Hierarchical Basis Functions

A unified process for the construction of hierarchical conforming bases on a range of element types is proposed based on an ab initio preservation of the underlying *** process supports not only the most common simplicial element types,as are now well known,but is generalized to squares,hexahedra,prisms and importantly *** these latter cases have received(to varying degrees)attention in the literature,their foundation is less well developed than for the simplicial *** generalization discussed in this paper is effected by recourse to basic ideas from algebraic topology(differential forms,homology,cohomology,etc)and as such extends the fundamental theoretical framework established by the work of Hiptmair[16-18]and Arnold et al.[4]for *** process of forming hierarchical bases involves a recursive orthogonalization and it is shown that the resulting finite element mass,quasi-stiffness and composite matrices exhibit exponential or better growth in condition number.

The prevalence and prevention of nasopharyngeal carcinoma in China

Nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) has remarkable epidemiological features, including regional, racial, and familial aggregations. The aim of this review is to describe the epidemiological characteristics of NPC and to propose possible causes for the high incidence patterns in southern China. Since the etiology of NPC is not completely understood, approaches to primary prevention of NPC remain under consideration. This situation highlights the need to conduct secondary prevention, including improving rates of early detection, early diagnosis, and early treatment in NPC patients. Since the 1970's, high-risk populations in southern China have been screened extensively for early detection of NPC using anti-Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) serum biomarkers. This review summarizes several large screening studies that have been conducted in the high-incidence areas of China. Screening markers, high-risk age range for screening, time intervals for blood re-examination, and the effectiveness of these screening studies will be discussed. Conduction of prospective randomized controlled screening trials in southern China can be expected to maximize the cost-effectiveness of early NPC detection screening.

This article presents the generation of Orbital AngularMomentum(OAM)vortex waves with mode 1 using Uniform Circular Array(UCA)*** different designs,namely,UCA-1(4-element array antenna)and UCA-2(8-element array antenna),were designed and fabricated using FR-4 substrate to generate OAM mode 1 at 3.5 GHz(5G mid-band).The proposed antenna arrays comprised rectangular microstrip patch elements with inset fed *** elements were excited by a carefully designed feeding phase shift network to provide similar output energy at output ports with desired phase shift *** generated OAM waves were confirmed by measuring the null in the bore sight of their 2D radiation patterns,simulated phase distribution and intensity *** measurement results agree well with the simulation ***,a detailed mode purity analysis of the generated OAM waves was carried out considering different *** investigation found that the greater the number of elements,the higher the purity of the generated OAM *** with other previous works,the proposed antenna design of this paper is very simple to design and *** addition,the proposed antennas are compact in design even at lower frequency band with very wide bandwidth to meet the requirements of 5G mid-band applications.
