Developing earth-abundant electrocatalysts for hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)is important for the sustainable energy ***,efficient and stable heterocatalysts consisting of crystalline-amorphous M@MN_(x)(M=co,Fe,Ni)encapsulated in N-doped carbon layers supported with N-doped graphene sheets(denoted as M@MN_(x)@Nc-NG)are synthesized by facile hydrothermal reaction and nitridation *** the nitriding process,metal ions in M(tzbc)_2(H_(2)O)_4(tzbc=4-(1H-1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)benzoic acid)complexes are reduced to crystalline M cores,accompanied by the formation of amorphous MN_(x)shells;the tzbc ligands are insitu carbonized to form outermost N-doped carbon(Nc)layers that connect with inner MN_(x)via M-N-c motifs inherited from the complex precursors and inhibit the transition of MN_(x)from amorphous to crystalline *** co@coN_(x)@Nc-NG catalyst exhibits excellent HER activity with small overpotentials of 45 and 64 mV at a cathode current density of 10 mA·cm^(-2)and low Tafel slopes of 40 and 85 mV·dec^(-1)in 0.5 mol·L^(-1)H_(2)SO_4 and1.0 mol·L^(-1)KOH electrolytes,*** co@coN_(x)@Nc-NG retains 97%of the initial overpotential after 100,000 s in both acidic and alkaline *** outstanding HER performance originates from the crystalline-amorphous co@coN_(x)that redistributes electrons around the heterointerfaces,facilitating the conversion process of H^(+)/H_(2)O to hydrogen and thereby promoting HER *** outermost Nc layers serve as the armor of co@coN_(x),and graphene nanosheets act as carriers of egg-like co@coN_(x)@Nc and conduction paths for electron shuttles,ensuring stable and continuous electrocatalytic hydrogen production.

High-risk factors for delirium in severely ill patients and the application of emotional nursing combined with pain nursing

BAcKGROUND Delirium is a neuropsychiatric syndrome characterized by acute disturbances of consciousness with rapid onset,rapid progression,obvious fluctuations,and preventable,reversible,and other *** with delirium in the intensive care unit(IcU)are often missed or misdiagnosed and do not receive adequate *** To analyze the risk factors for delirium in IcU patients and explore the applica-tion of emotional nursing with pain nursing in the management of *** General data of 301 critically ill patients were retrospectively collected,including histories(cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases,hypertension,smoking,alcoholism,and diabetes),age,sex,diagnosis,whether surgery was performed,and patient origin(emergency/clinic).Additionally,the duration of sedation,Richmond Agitation Sedation Scale score,combined emotional and pain care,ven-tilator use duration,vasoactive drug use,drainage tube retention,IcU stay du-ration,c-reactive protein,procalcitonin,white blood cell count,body tempe-rature,Acute Physiology and chronic Health Evaluation II(APAcHE II)score,and Sequential Organ Failure Assessment score were recorded within 24 h after IcU *** were assessed for delirium according to confusion assessment method for the IcU,and univariate and multivariate logistic regre-ssion analyses were performed to identify the risk factors for delirium in the *** Univariate logistic regression analysis was performed on the 24 potential risk factors associated with delirium in IcU *** results showed that 16 risk factors were closely related to delirium,including combined emotional and pain care,history of diabetes,and patient *** logistic regression analysis revealed that no combined emotional and pain care,history of diabetes,emergency source,surgery,long stay in the IcU,smoking history,and high APAcHE II score were independent risk factors for de-lirium in IcU *** Patients

Microstructure and property of laser additive manufactured alloy Ti-6Al-2V-1.5Mo-0.5Zr-0.3Si after aged at different temperatures

The solid solution and aging treatment for conventional manufacturing processes might not be suitable for laser additive manufactured titanium alloys due to the different lamellar *** this study,the influence of aging temperatures(600,700 and 800°c)on microstructure and mechanical properties of titanium alloy Ti-6Al-2V-1.5Mo-0.5Zr-0.3Si was *** results indicate that after solid solution treatment at 970°c followed by water quenching,the alloy mainly consists of coarsening lamellar a phase in martensite α' *** at 600°c will not change the size of primary lamellar α phase but lead to huge amount of secondary a phases(α_(s))generating with very fine *** increasing the aging temperature,the number of α_(s) decreases but with coarsened *** aged at 800°c,the width of the asphase reaches 350 nm,almost 7 times wider than that aged at 600°*** changing size of α_(s) obviously influences the property of the *** fine α_(s) leads to high strength and microhardness but low plasticity,and specimen aged at 700°c with suitable assize has the best comprehensive properties.

Analysis of the Erosion-corrosion Mechanism of the Air cooler in a Hydrocracking Unit:A Numerical and Experimental Study

corrosion leakages often occur in the air cooler of a hydrocracking unit,with the failure sites mainly located in the entrance area of the *** analysis of the macroscopic morphology and corrosion products confirmed that the damage was caused by erosion-corrosion(E-c).Numerical and experimental methods were applied to investigate the E-c mechanism in the air *** fluid dynamics(cFD)was used to calculate the hydrodynamic parameters of the air *** results showed that there was a biased flow in the air cooler,which led to a significant increase in velocity,turbulent kinetic energy and wall shear within 0.2 m of the tube entrance.A visualization experiment was then performed to determine the principles of migration and transformation of multiphase flow in the air cooler *** flow patterns(pure droplet flow,mist flow,and annular flow)and their evolutionary processes were clearly depicted *** initiation mechanism and processes leading to the development of E-c in the air cooler were also *** study provided a comprehensive explanation for the E-c failures that occur in air coolers during operation.

Afforestation with an age-sequence of Mongolian pine plantation promotes soil microbial residue accumulation in the Horqin Sandy Land, china

Land use change affects the balance of organic carbon(c)reserves and the global c *** residues are essential constituents of stable soil organic c(SOc).However,it remains unclear how microbial residue changes over time following *** this study,16-,23-,52-,and 62-year-old Mongolian pine stands and 16-year-old cropland were studied in the Horqin Sandy Land,*** analyzed changes in SOc,amino sugar content,and microbial parameters to assess how microbial communities influence soil c transformation and *** results showed that SOc storage increased with stand age in the early stage of afforestation but remained unchanged at about 1.27-1.29 kg/m2 after 52 ***,there were consistent increases in amino sugars and microbial residues with increasing stand *** stand age increased from 16 to 62 a,soil pH decreased from 6.84 to 5.71,and the concentration of total amino sugars increased from 178.53 to 509.99 mg/kg.A significant negative correlation between soil pH and the concentration of specific and total amino sugars was observed,indicating that the effects of soil acidification promote amino sugar stabilization during *** contrast to the Mongolian pine plantation of the same age,the cropland accumulated more SOc and microbial residues because of fertilizer *** Mongolian pine plantation with different ages,there was no significant change in calculated contribution of bacterial or fungal residues to SOc,suggesting that fungi were consistently the dominant contributors to SOc with increasing *** results indicate that afforestation in the Horqin Sandy Land promotes efficient microbial growth and residue accumulation in SOc stocks and has a consistent positive impact on SOc persistence.

Thin polymer electrolyte with MXene functional layer for uniform Li^(+) deposition in all-solid-state lithium battery

Solid polymer electrolyte(SPE) shows great potential for all-solid-state batteries because of the inherent safety and flexibility;however, the unfavourable Li+deposition and large thickness hamper its development and application. Herein, a laminar MXene functional layer-thin SPE layer-cathode integration(MXene-PEO-LFP) is designed and fabricated. The MXene functional layer formed by stacking rigid MXene nanosheets imparts higher compressive strength relative to PEO electrolyte layer. And the abundant negatively-charged groups on MXene functional layer effectively repel anions and attract cations to adjust the charge distribution behavior at electrolyte–anode interface. Furthermore,the functional layer with rich lithiophilic groups and outstanding electronic conductivity results in low Li nucleation overpotential and nucleation energy barrier. In consequence, the cell assembled with MXene-PEO-LFP, where the PEO electrolyte layer is only 12 μm, much thinner than most solid electrolytes, exhibits uniform, dendrite-free Li+deposition and excellent cycling stability. High capacity(142.8 mAh g-1), stable operation of 140 cycles(capacity decay per cycle, 0.065%), and low polarization potential(0.5 c) are obtained in this Li|MXene-PEO-LFP cell,which is superior to most PEO-based electrolytes under identical condition. This integrated design may provide a strategy for the large-scale application of thin polymer electrolytes in all-solid-state battery.
