Background:This study aims to assess the effects of a forestation program and climate change on the annual and seasonal water balance of the Bogowonto catchment(597 km^(2))in java,*** catchment study is rare example in Indonesia where forestation has been applied at the catchment ***,since the forestation program has been initiated,evaluations of the program only focus on the planting area targets,while the environmental success e.g.,impacts on the hydrological processes have never been *** study used a calibrated Soil and Water Assessment Tool(SWAT)model to diagnose the isolated and combined effects of forestation and climate change on five water balance components,namely streamflow(Q),evapotranspiration(ET),surface runoff(Q_(s)),lateral flow(Q_(l))and base flow(Q_(b)).Results:The results show that from 2006 to 2019,forest cover has increased from 2.7% to 12.8% of the total area,while in the same period there was an increase in the mean annual and seasonal temperature,rainfall,and *** of SWAT simulations show that changes in the mean annual and seasonal water balance under the forestation only scenario were relatively minor,while changes were more pronounced under the climate change only *** on the combined impacts scenario,it was observed that the effects of a larger forest area on the water balance were smaller than the effects of climate ***:Although we found that forestation program has minor impacts compared to that of climate change on the hydrological processes in the Bogowonto catchment,seasonally,forestation activity has decreased the streamflow and surface runoff during the wet season which may reduce the risk of moderate ***,much attention should be paid to the way how forestation may result in severe drought events during the dry ***,we urge the importance of accounting for the positive and negative effects in future forestation programs.

Navigation problems of unmanned air vehicles(UAVs) flying in a formation have been investigated recently, where collision avoidance is a significant issue to be addressed. In this paper, we study resource allocation and power control for radar sensing in a multi-unmanned aerial vehicle(multi-UAV)formation flight system where multiple UAVs simultaneously perform radar sensing. To cope with mutual radar interference among the UAVs, we formulate a joint channel allocation and UAV transmission power control problem to maximize the minimum signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio(SINR) of the radar echo signals. We then propose a computationally practical method to solve this NP-hard problem by decomposing it into two sub-problems, i.e., channel allocation and transmission power control. An iterative channel allocation and power control algorithm(ICAPCA) is proposed to jointly solve these two sub-problems. We also propose a reduced-complexity greedy channel allocation algorithm(GCAA), which can also be used to provide an initial solution to ICAPCA. Simulation results show that the proposed ICAPCA and GCAA can improve the minimum SINR and radar sensing performance significantly.

Fatty acid binding and oxidation kinetics for wild type P450_(BM3)(CYP102A1)from Bacillus megaterium have been found to display chain length-dependent homotropic *** and 13-methyl-myristate display Michaelis-Menten behavior while there are slight deviations with myristate at low ionic *** shows Michaelis-Menten kinetics and hyperbolic binding behavior in 100 mmol/L phosphate,pH 7.4,but sigmoidal kinetics(with an apparent intercept)in low ionic strength buffers and at physiological phosphate *** low ionic strength buffers both the heme domain and the full-length enzyme show complex palmitate binding behavior that indicates a minimum of four fatty acid binding sites,with high cooperativity for the binding of the fourth palmitate molecule,and the full-length enzyme showing tighter palmitate binding than the heme *** first flavin-to-heme electron transfer is faster for laurate,myristate and palmitate in 100 mmol/L phosphate than in 50mmol/L Tris(pH 7.4),yet each substrate induces similar high-spin heme *** palmitate in low phosphate buffer concentrations,the rate constant of the first electron transfer is much larger than *** results suggest that phosphate has a specific effect in promoting the first electron transfer step,and that P450_(BM3) could modulate Bacillus membrane morphology and fluidity via palmitate oxidation in response to the external phosphate concentration.

Coordination-driven self-assembly of metallacages has garnered significant interest because of their 3 D layout and cavity-cored nature. The well-defined, highly tunable metallacage structures render them particularly attractive for investigating the properties of luminophores, as well as for inducing novel photophysical characters that enable widespread applications. In this review, we summarize the recent advances in synthetic methodologies for light-emitting metallacages, and highlight some representative applications of these metallacages. In particular, we focus on the favorable photophysical properties—including high luminescence efficiency in various physical states, good modularity in photophysical properties and stimulus responsiveness—that have resulted from incorporating ligands displaying aggregation-induced emission(AIE) into metallacages. These features show that the synergy between carrying out coordination-driven self-assembly and using luminophores with novel photophysical characteristics like AIE could stimulate the development of supramolecular luminophores for applications in fields as diverse as sensing, biomedicine and catalysis.
