A nanostructured copper telluride thin film grown at room temperature by an electrodeposition method

Copper telluride onion flower like microstructures, constructed by quantum dots with various diameters, were obtained by a potentiostatic electrodeposition method at room temperature. The structural, optical, surface morphology, compositional analysis and Raman spectra properties of the deposited films have been studied using X-ray diffraction, optical absorption with scanning electron microscopy, EDAX, and Raman spectroscopy, The electrolyte concentration and deposition time can be used to control the diameter of the electrodeposited quantum dots to within a range of 50-55 nm. The films are found to be stoichiometric in composition. The optical constants such as the optical band gap energy and the optical absorption spectra show significant variation in their values with a change in deposition time. Upon deposition time the band gap energy increased from a value of 2.74 to 2.89 ev.

Investigations into forest soils face the problem of the high level of spatial variability that is an inherent property of all forest *** order to investigate the effect of changes in residue management practices on soil properties in hoop pine(Araucaria cunninghamii Aiton ex ***.)plantations of subtropical Australia it was important to understand the intensity of sampling effort required to overcome the spatial variability induced by those *** residues were formed into windrows to prevent nitrogen(N)losses through volatilisation and erosion that had previously occurred as a result of pile and burn *** selected second rotation(2R)hoop pine sites where the windrows(10-15 m apart)had been formed 1,2 and 3 years prior to sampling in order to examine the spatial variability in soil carbon(C) and N and in potential mineralisable N(PMN)in the areas beneath and between(inter-)the *** examined the implications of soil variability on the number of samples required to detect differences in means for specific soil properties, at different ages and at specified levels of *** size needed to accurately reflect differences between means was not affected by the position where the samples were taken relative to the windrows but differed according to the parameter to be *** relative soil sampling size required for detecting differences between means of a soil property in the inter-windrow and beneath-windrow positions was highly dependent on the soil property assessed and the acceptable relative sampling *** alternative strategy for soil sampling should be considered,if the estimated sample size exceeds 50 *** possible solution to this problem is collection of composite soil samples allowing a substantial reduction in the number of samples required for chemical analysis without loss in the precision of the mean estimates for a particular soil property.

The autonomous driving aims at ensuring the vehicle to effectively sense the environment and use proper strategies to navigate the vehicle without the interventions of ***,there exist a prediction of the background scenes and that leads to discontinuity between the predicted and planned *** optimal prediction engine is required that suitably reads the background objects and make optimal *** this paper,the author(s)develop an autonomous model for vehicle driving using ensemble model for large Sport Utility vehicles(SUvs)that uses three different modules involving(a)recognition model,(b)planning model and(c)prediction *** study develops a direct realization method for an autonomous vehicle *** direct realization method is designed as a behavioral model that incorporates three different modules to ensure optimal autonomous *** behavioral model includes recognition,planning and prediction modules that regulates the input trajectory processing of input video datasets.A deep learning algorithm is used in the proposed approach that helps in the classification of known or unknown objects along the line of *** model is compared with conventional deep learning classifiers in terms of recall rate and root mean square error(RMSE)to estimate its *** results on different traffic environment shows that the Ensemble Convolutional Network Reinforcement Learning(E-CNN-RL)offers increased accuracy of 95.45%,reduced RMSE and increased recall rate than existing Ensemble Convolutional Neural Networks(CNN)and Ensemble Stacked CNN.

Engineering and research teams often develop new products and technologies by referring to inventions described in patent databases. Efficient patent analysis builds R＆D knowledge, reduces new product development time, increases market success, and reduces potential patent infringement. Thus, it is beneficial to automatically and systematically extract information from patent documents in order to improve knowledge sharing and collaboration among R＆D team members. In this research, patents are summarized using a combined ontology based and TF-IDF concept clustering approach. The ontology captures the general knowledge and core meaning of patents in a given domain. Then, the proposed methodology extracts, clusters, and integrates the content of a patent to derive a summary and a cluster tree diagram of key terms. Patents from the International Patent Classification （IPC） codes B25C, B25D, B25F （categories for power hand tools） and B24B, C09G and H011 （categories for chemical mechanical polishing） are used as case studies to evaluate the compression ratio, retention ratio, and classification accuracy of the summarization results. The evaluation uses statistics to represent the summary generation and its compression ratio, the ontology based keyword extraction retention ratio, and the summary classification accuracy. The results show that the ontology based approach yields about the same compression ratio as previous non-ontology based research but yields on average an 11% improvement for the retention ratio and a 14% improvement for classification accuracy.

Production flow rates are crucial to make operational decisions,monitor,manage,and optimize oil and gas *** rates also have a financial importance to correctly allocate production to fiscal purposes required by regulatory agencies or to allocate production in fields owned by multiple *** its significance,usually only the total field production is measured in real time,which requires an alternative way to estimate wells'*** address these challenges,this work presents a back allocation methodology that leverages real-time instrumentation,simulations,algorithms,and mathe-matical programming modeling to enhance well monitoring and assist in well test *** methodology comprises four modules:simulation,classification,error calculation,and *** modules work together to characterize the flowline,wellbore,and reservoir,verify simulation outputs,minimize errors,and calculate flow rates while honoring the total platform flow *** well status generated through the classification module provides valuable information about the current condition of each well(*** the well is deviating from the latest well test parameters),aiding in decision-making for well testing scheduling and *** effectiveness of the methodology is demonstrated through its application to a representative offshore oil field with 14 producing wells and two years of daily production *** results highlight the robustness of the methodology in properly classifying the wells and obtaining flow rates that honor the total platform flow ***,the methodology supports well test scheduling and provides reliable indicators for well *** uti-lizing real-time data and advanced modeling techniques,this methodology enhances production monitoring and facilitates informed operational decision-making in the oil and gas industry.
