Interaction of pulsed transversely excited atmospheric （TEA） CO2-1aser radiation at 10.6 μm with nanoporous activated carbon cloth was investigated. Activated carbon cloth of different adsorption characteristics was used. Activated carbon cloth modifications were initiated by laser pulse intensities from 0.5 to 28 mW/cm^2, depending on the cloth adsorption characteristics. CO2 laser radiation was effectively absorbed by the used activated carbon cloth and largely converted into thermal energy. The type of modification depended on laser power density, number of pulses, but mostly on material characteristics such as specific surface area. The higher the surface area of activated carbon cloth, the higher the damage threshold.

Comprehensive studies identify motor neuron spectrum disorders including amyotrophic lateral sclerosis(ALS)as globally rising fatal disorders with the highest prevalence in aging populations,influenced by ethnicity and ancestry(GBD 2016 motor Neuron Disease Colla borators,2018).While~10% of diagnoses involve a family history(fALS),most cases are considered sporadic(sALS).However,population-based studies suggest that even cases without a common index mutation impart heritability(Ryan et al.,2019),indicating a crucial role of rare and as yet unknown genetic denominators.

With the aid of FE （finite element） code *** 2005, 2-D coupled thermo-mechanical simulation of center-crack occurrence in round billet during 2-roll rotary rolling process was presented using Oyane ductile fracture criteria. A simple modeling is put forward based on the spiral motion of the workpiece as an essential characteristic in movement. The influence of the feed angle and the entry cone angle of the main roll on the process was taken into account in the modeling. The soundness for simplifying the 3-D rotary rolling into a 2-D problem was discussed. By adopting the parameters of Diescher piercer in 140mm mandrel mill of Bao Steel, the distribution and development of strain/stress were analyzed, and the eigen value of ductile fracture as well. The critical percentage of diameter reduction was obtained from the simulation. The result showed a good agreement with the experimental value, and therefore was of widely guiding significance to the practical process for rationally formulating the deformation parameters of steel tube piercing.

In this paper, the generalized complementarity problem is formulated as an unconstrained optimization problem. Our results generalize the results of [9]. The dimensionality of the unconstrained problem is the same as that of the original problem. If the mapping of generalized complementarity problem is differentiable, the objective function of the unconstrained problem is also differentiable. All the solutions of the original problem are global minimizers of the optimization problem. A generalized strict complementarity condition is given. Under certain assumptions, local properties of the correspondent unconstrained optimization problem are studied. Limited numerical tests are also reported.

Optimization of the intermetallic layer thickness and the suppression of interfacial defects are key elements to improve the load bearing capacity of dissimilar joints. However, till date we do not have a systematic tool to investigate the dissimilar joints and the intermetallic properties produced by a welding condition. Friction melt Bonding (FmB) is a recently developed technique for joining dissimilar metals that also does not exempt to these challenges. The FmB of DP980 and A16061-T6 was investigated using a new physical simulation tool, based on Gleeble thermo-mechanical simulator, to understand the effect of individual parameter on the intermetallic formation. The proposed method demonstrates its capability in reproducing the intermetallic characteristics, including the thickness of intermetallic bonding layer, the morphology and texture of its constituents (Fe2AU and Fe4Ali3), as well as their nanohardness and reduced modulus. The advantages of physical simulation tool can enable novel developing routes for the development of dissimilar metal joining processes and facilitate to reach the requiring load bearing capacity of the joints.

By using the ^(3)P_(0) pair creation model,we provide a detailed derivation of the transition matrix for a baryon decaying into a meson-baryon *** analysis was successfully conducted for a meson in[***,***,and ***,***.B 715,322(2012),and we extend the same formalism to the baryon sector,focusing on the △(1232)→πN strong decay width because all hadrons involved in the reaction are very well established,the two hadrons in the final state are stable and require no further analysis,all quarks are light and thus equivalent,and the decay width of the process is relatively well *** a very common Rayleigh-Ritz variational method to solve the 2-and 3-body Schodinger bound-state equation in which the hadron's radial wave functions are expanded in terms of a Gaussian basis,we can relate the expression of the invariant matrix element with the mean-square radii of hadrons involved in the *** use their experimental measures in such a way that only the strength of the quark-antiquark pair creation from the vacuum is a free *** is then taken from our previous study on strong decay widths in the meson sector[***,***,and ***,***.B 715,322(2012),and the obtained results are compatible with the experimental results for the calculated △(1232)→πN decay *** requiring the calculation of additional baryon strong decays,a feasible avenue towards a unified description of both baryon and meson strong decay widths within a single constituent quark model framework may be ***,this research has been developed to lay the foundation for a novel raft of applications to exotic hadrons,i.e.,the description of the baryon's coupling to meson-baryon thresholds,one of the mechanisms that is considered to be responsible for providing either a large renormalization to naive states or genuine dynamicallygenerated meson-baryon molecules.

为了研究脉动热管用于冷却mg B——2超导磁体的可行性,对一台自行研制的液氢温区脉动热管实验台开展了实验研究工作。充液率为34.2%时,随着加热功率的增大,脉动热管经历了启动、脉动、极限3个阶段,启动阶段中脉动热管传热温差波动很大,传热性能差,而脉动阶段中脉动热管传热温差很小,传热性能好。脉动热管在加热功率为1.28 W时具有最高的有效热导率为19 k W/m·K,此时蒸发段与冷凝段温差为0.28 K。
