Gradient boosting decision tree(GBDT)machine learning(ML)method was adopted for the first time to automatically recognize and conduct quantitative statistical analysis of boundaries in bainitic microstructure using electron back-scatter diffraction(EBSD)*** spite of lack of large sets of EBSD data,we were successful in achieving the desired accuracy and accomplishing the objective of recognizing the *** with a low model accuracy ofharacteristic features,the accuracy of the model was significantly enhanced to about 88%when the Euler angle was converted to overall misorientation angle(OMA)and specific misorientation angle(SMA)and considered as important *** this model,the recall score of prior austenite grain(PAG)boundary was~93%,high angle packet boundary(OMA>40°)was~97%,and block boundary was~96%.The derived outcomes of ML were used to obtain insights into the ductile-to-brittle transition(DBTT)***,ML modeling approach suggested that DBTT was not determined by the density of high angle grain boundaries,but significantly influenced by the density of PAG and packet *** study underscores that ML has a great potential in detailed recognition of complex multi-hierarchical microstructure such as bainite and martensite and relates to material performance.

Dear Editor,This letter deals with the robustness problem of gait recognition method against maximum number of clothing *** selecting four kinds of time-varying silhouette features,gait dynamics underlying different individuals’gait features is effectively modeled by radial basis function(RBF)neural networks through deterministic *** kind of dynamics information has little sensitivity to the variance between gait patterns under different clothing *** order to eliminate the effect of clothing differences,the training patterns under different clothing conditions further constitute a uniform training dataset,containing all kinds of gait dynamics under different clothing conditions.A rapid recognition scheme is presented on published gait *** experiments demonstrate the efficacy of the proposed method.

The aging problem of vegetable oil has severely restricted the popularization and application of vegetable oil *** antioxidants is the most recommended *** present,there is insufficient research on the micromechanism application of the protective effect of antioxidants on vegetable *** this paper,multiple vegetable oil models with different types and concentrations of antioxidants are *** the molecular dynamics simulation based on ReaxFF is carried out at different temperatures and oxygen *** show that the protective mechanism of antioxidants is to release h and combine this with free radicals generated by the decomposition of unsaturated fatty acids(UFA)in the *** addition,the protective effects of four antioxidants show different *** stronger ones are tert-butyl hydroquinone(TBhQ)and butylated hydroxytoluene(BhT),while the weaker ones are butylated hydroxyanisole(BhA)and propyl gallate(PG).TBhQ has a better protective effect at lower concentrations,but the decomposition of UFA is promoted at higher *** the temperature rises,the decomposition of UFA is *** the addition of oxygen,smaller molecular compounds are easily oxidized,and the decomposition of UFA is *** above research could reveal the microscopic mechanism of antioxidant protection on vegetable oil,providing theoretical references for further exploration of effective vegetable oil aging protection technology.

An anti-saturation fault-tolerant adaptive torsional vibration control method with fixed-time prescribed performance for the rolling mill main drive system(RMMDS)was investigated,which is affected by control input saturation,actuator faults,sensor measurement errors,and parameter ***,we gave a continuously differentiable saturation function to approximate the control input saturation characteristic of the RMMDS,translating the saturation characteristic into the matched uncertainty and unknown time-varying gain in the ***,an RMMDS mathematical model with unmatched uncertainty and unknown time-varying gain was developed,taking into account the presence of control input saturation,actuator faults,sensor measurement errors,and parameter *** on the established mathematical model,an error transformation model of the roll speed tracking was constructed by the equivalent error transformation *** to the error transformation model,a barrier Lyapunov function and a novel adaptive controller were studied to ensure that the roll speed tracking error always evolves inside a fixed-time asymmetric ***,numerical simulations were performed in Matlab/Simulink to verify the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed control method in suppressing the RMMDS torsional vibration.

Cascaded h-bridge inverter(ChBI) with supercapacitors(SCs) and dc-dc stage shows significant promise for medium to high voltage energy storage applications. This paper investigates the voltage balance of capacitors within the ChBI, including both the dc-link capacitors and SCs. Balance control over the dc-link capacitor voltages is realized by the dcdc stage in each submodule(SM), while a hybrid modulation strategy(hMS) is implemented in the h-bridge to balance the SC voltages among the SMs. Meanwhile, the dc-link voltage fluctuations are analyzed under the hMS. A virtual voltage variable is introduced to coordinate the balancing of dc-link capacitor voltages and SC voltages. Compared to the balancing method that solely considers the SC voltages, the presented method reduces the dc-link voltage fluctuations without affecting the voltage balance of SCs. Finally, both simulation and experimental results verify the effectiveness of the presented method.

Line-commutated converter (LCC)-based high-voltage DC (hVDC) systems have been integrated with bulk AC power grids for interregional transmission of renewable power. The nonlinear LCC model brings additional nonconvexity to optimal power flow (OPF) of hybrid AC-DC power grids. A convexification method for the LCC station model could address such nonconvexity but has rarely been discussed. We devise an equivalent reformulation for classical LCC station models that facilitates second-order cone convex relaxation for the OPF of LCC-based AC-DC power grids. We also propose sufficient conditions for exactness of convex relaxation with its proof. Equivalence of the proposed LCC station models and properties, exactness, and effectiveness of convex relaxation are verified using four numerical simulations. Simulation results demonstrate a globally optimal solution of the original OPF can be efficiently obtained from relaxed model.

Apple leaf spot,caused by the Alternaria alternata apple pathotype(AAAP),is an important fungal disease of *** understand the molecular basis of resistance and pathogenesis in apple leaf spot,the transcriptomes of two apple cultivars‘hanfu'(hF)(resistant)and‘Golden Delicious'(GD)(susceptible)were analyzed at 0,6,18,24 and 48 h after AAAP inoculation by *** each time point,a large number of significantly differentially expressed genes(DEGs)were screened between AAAP-inoculated and uninoculated apple *** of the common DEGs at four time points revealed significant differences in the resistance of‘hF'and‘GD'apple to AAAP ***,RNL,and jA signal-related genes were upregulated in both cultivars to restrict AAAP ***,genes encoding CNLs,TNLs,WRKYs,and AP2s were only activated in‘hF'as part of the resistance response,of which,some play major roles in the regulation of ET and SA signal *** analysis showed that many DEGs with opposite expression trends in the two hosts may play important regulatory roles in response to AAAP *** expression of one such gene MdERF110 in‘GD'apple leaves improved AAAP ***,this study highlights the reasons for differential resistance to AAAP infection between‘hF'and‘GD'apples which can theoretically assist the molecular breeding of disease-resistant apple crops.
