w. study the leader-follow.ng consensus stability and stabilization of netw.rked multi-teleoperator systems w.th interval time-varying communication delays. w.th the construction of a suitable Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional and the utilization of the reciprocally convex approach, novel delay-dependent consensus stability and stabilization conditions for the systems are established in terms of linear matrix inequalities, w.ich can easily be solved by various effective optimization algorithms. One illustrative example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed methods.

Strigolactones(SLs),w.ich are biosynthesized mainly in roots,modulate various aspects of plant grow.h and ***,w. review.recent research on the role of SLs and their cross-regulation w.th auxin,cytokinin,and ethylene in the modulation of root grow.h and *** nutrientsufficient conditions,SLs regulate the elongation of primary roots and inhibit adventitious root formation in eudicot *** promote the elongation of seminal roots and increase the number of adventitious roots in grass plants in the short term,w.ile inhibiting lateral root development in both grass and eudicot *** effects of SLs on the elongation of root hairs are variable and depend on plant species,grow.h conditions,and SL *** or phosphate deficiency induces the accumulation of endogenous SLs,modulates root grow.h and *** analyses indicate cross-regulation of SLs w.th auxin,cytokinin,and ethylene in regulation of root grow.h and *** discuss the implications of these studies and consider their potential for exploiting the components of SL signaling for the design of crop plants w.th more efficient soil-resource utilization.

The Mufushan Complex(MFSC),located in northeastern Hunan,is a significant producer of Nb-Ta-Li-Be rare metals in South *** present study examines the genetic relationship,material provenance,fluid evolution,and metallogeny of the co-developed ore-free pegmatite(OFP)and ore-bearing pegmatite(OBP)in granite-related pegmatite-type Nb-Ta rare-metal deposits in *** minerals(columbite-tantalite(coltan),zircon,and monazite)w.re chosen for *** coltan grains display both primary crystallization structures(crystal homogeneity,oscillatory zonings,and primary grow.h rims)resulting from equilibrium and disequilibrium reactions due to localized changes in the physicochemical conditions and environment,as w.ll as later replacement structures(alteration rims,patches,irregular zonations,and complex zonations)from metasomatic replacement processes related to hydrothermal fluid *** coltan yielded tw. w.ighted mean^(206)Pb/^(238)U ages of 138.1±2.1 Ma and 125.3±2.0 Ma corresponding to magmatic and hydrothermal Nb-Ta mineralization *** the OFP,zircons also yielded tw. w.ighted mean^(206)Pb/^(238)U ages of 138.4±0.8 Ma and 131.5±0.7 Ma,w.ereas monazite gave a w.ighted mean U-Pb age 142.9±1.2 *** ages of 142-138 Ma and 131 Ma represent the early and late stages of OFP crystallization and barren pegmatites in the MFSC,*** Lu-Hf isotopic compositions link rare-metal metallogenesis to the Lengj.axi Group,w.ich w.s the source material to the Mufushan composite ***ε_(Hf)(t)values and TDM2 ages from the OFP(-7.6 to-3.6 and 1676-1418 Ma,respectively)and the OBP(-14.1 to+4.9 and 2976-1548 Ma,respectively)are akin to those of schists and metasandstones of the metasedimentary Lengj.axi *** propose a long-lived(ca.13-Myr)event involving tw. metallogenic episodes of Nb-Ta mineralization in the Mufushan *** study demonstrates the potential of zircon,coltan,and monazite for fingerprinting minerals and classifying the m

Many organisms have evolved adaptive coloration that reduces their risk of predation. Cryptic coloration reduces the likelihood of detection/recognition by potential predators, w.ile w.rning or aposematic coloration advertises unprofitability and thereby reduces the likelihood of attack. Although some studies show.that aposematic coloration functions better at decreasing attack rate than crypsis, recent w.rk has suggested and demonstrated that crypsis and aposematism are both successful strategies for avoiding predation. Furthermore, the visual environment (e.g., ambient lighting, background) affects the ability for predators to detect prey. w. investigated these 2 related hypotheses using 2 w.ll-know. visually aposematic species of butterflies, w.ich occupy different habitats (open-canopy vs. closed-canopy), and one palatable, cryptic, generalist species . w. tested if the differently colored butterflies differ in attack rates by placing plasticine models of each of the 3 species in 2 different tropical habitats w.ere the butterflies naturally occur: disturbed, open-canopy habitat and forested, closed-canopy habitat. The cryptic model had few.r attacks than one of the aposematic models. Predation rates differed betw.en the 2 habitats, w.th the open habitat having much higher predation. How.ver, w. did not find an interaction betw.en species and habitat type, w.ich is perplexing due to the different aposematic phenotypes naturally occurring in different habitats. Our findings suggest that during the Panamanian dry season avian predation on perched butterflies is not a leading cause in habitat segregation betw.en the 2 aposematic species and demonstrate that cryptically colored animals at rest may be better than aposematic prey at avoiding avian attacks in certain environments.

Background:Physical activity(PA)is important for cancer *** of remotely delivered interventions are needed to assist in reaching under-served non-metropolitan cancer *** obj.ctive of this study w.s to ascertain w.ether w.arable technology,coupled w.th health coaching w.s effective in increasing PA in breast and colorectal cancer survivors living in regional and remote areas in ***:Cancer survivors from 5 states w.re randomized to intervention and control *** participants w.re given a Fitbit Charge 2TMand received up to 6 telephone health coaching *** participants received PA print *** assessments at baseline and 12 w.eks measured moderate-to-vigorous PA(MVPA),light PA,and sedentary ***:Eighty-seven participants w.re recruited(age=63±11 years;74(85%)female).There w.s a significant net improvement in MVPA of 49.8 min/w.ek,favoring the intervention group(95%confidence interval(95%CI):13.6-86.1,p=0.007).There w.s also a net increase in MVPA bouts of 39.5 min/w.ek(95%CI:11.9-67.1,p=0.005),favoring the intervention *** groups improved light PA and sedentary behavior,but there w.re no betw.en-group ***:This’s the first study to demonstrate that,w.en compared to standard practice(i.e.,PA education),a w.arable technology intervention coupled w.th distance-based health coaching,improves MVPA in non-metropolitan cancer *** results display promise for the use of scalable interventions using smart w.arable technology in conj.nction w.th phone-based health coaching to foster increased PA in geographically disadvantaged cancer survivors.

Understanding the defect characteristics that occur near the space-charge regions(SCRs)of kesterite(CZTSSe)solar cells is important because the recombination loss at the CZTSSe/CdS interface is considered the main cause of their low.*** surfaces w.th different elemental compositions w.re formed w.thout polishing(C00)and w.th polishing for 20 s(C20)and 60 s(C60).For C60,a specific region near the SCR w.s excessively Cu-rich and Zn-poor compared to C00 and *** charged defects formed w.ere the elemental variation w.s *** the main deep acceptor defect energy level(E_(a2))near the SCR increased,the efficiency,open-circuit voltage deficit,and current density degraded,and this phenomenon w.s especially rapid for large E_(a2) *** the E_(a2) near the SCR became deep,the carrier diffusion length decreased more for the CZTSSe solar cells w.th a low.carrier mobility than for the CuInGaSe_(2)(CIGSe)solar *** large amplitude of the electrostatic potential fluctuation in the CZTSSe solar cells induced a high carrier recombination and a short carrier ***,the properties of the CZTSSe solar cells w.re more strongly degraded by defects w.th deep energy levels near the SCR than those of the CIGSe solar cells.
