Particles occur in almost all processes in chemical and life sciences. The particle size and shape influence the process performance and product quality, and in turn they are influenced by the flow behavior of the particles during production. Monitoring and controlling such characteristics in multiphase systems to obtain sufficient qualities will greatly facilitate the achievement of reproducible and defined distributions. So far, obtaining this information inline has been challenging, because existing instruments lack measurement precision, being unable to process overlapping signals from different particle phases in highly concentrated multiphase systems. However, recent advances in photo-optics made it possible to monitor such features(particle size distribution(PSD), aspect ratio and particle concentration) with advanced image analysis(IA) in real-time. New analysis workflows as well as single feature extractions from the images using multiple image analysis algorithms allowed the precise real-time measurements of size, shape and concentration of particle collectives even separated from each other in three phase systems. The performances, advantages and drawbacks with other non-photo-optical methods for assessing the particle size distribution are compared and discussed.

BACKGROUND With the introduction of transcatheter aortic valve replacement and an evolving understanding of the natural progression and history of aortic stenosis,the potential for earlier intervention in appropriate patients is promising;however,the benefit of aortic valve replacement in moderate aortic stenosis remains *** Pubmed,Embase,and the Cochrane Library databases were searched up until 30th of December 2021 using keywords including moderate aortic stenosis and aortic valve *** reporting all-cause mortality and outcomes in early aortic valve replacement(AVR)compared to conservative management in patients with moderate aortic stenosis were *** ratios were generated using random-effects meta-analysis to determine effect *** 3470 publications were screened with title and abstract review,which left 169 articles for full-text *** these studies,7 met inclusion criteria and were included,totalling 4,827 *** studies treated AVR as a time-dependent co-variable in cox-regression multivariate analysis of all-cause *** with surgical or transcatheter AVR was associated with a 45% decreased risk of all-cause mortality(HR=0.55[0.42-0.68],I2=51.5%,P<0.001).All studies were representative of the overall cohort with appropriate sample sizes,with no evidence of publication,detection,or information biases in any of the *** In this systematic review and meta-analysis,we report a 45% reduction in all-cause mortality in patients with moderate aortic stenosis who were treated with early aortic valve replacement compared to a strategy of conservative *** control trials are awaited to determine the utility of AVR in moderate aortic stenosis.

Here presented is a matrix representation of recursive number sequences of order 3 defined by a;= pa;+ qa;+ ra;with arbitrary initial conditions a;, a;= 0, and a;and their special cases of Padovan number sequence and Perrin number sequence with initial conditions a;= a;= 0 and a;= 1 and a;= 3, a;= 0, and a;= 2, respectively. The matrix representation is used to construct many well known and new identities of recursive number sequences as well as Pavodan and Perrin sequences.

Twenty-four hour (circadian) rhythmicity is an important component of biological variability associated with studies relating to biomarkers of aging. Chronobiological testing techniques must be utilized because (1) many variables that are related to the modulation of metabolic output vary dramatically at different times of the day; (2) various experimental variable and treatment groups must be synchronized with environmental cues that control circadian rhythms; and (3) multiple circadian variables may interact together to modulate the rate of aging. The rhythm for physiological factors such as whole animal metabolic output, body temperature, heart rate, urine flow, potassium, etc. were found to be dissociated or altered by the senescence process; behavioral variables such as spontaneous activity, wheel running, feeding and drinking, verbal performance, as well as sleep-wakefulness rhythms, seem to be accurate predictors of biological age. Circadian rhythms for a variety of enzymes of intermediary metabolism which are directly associated with energy metabolism have been well documented. These well-defined rhythms of enzyme activity have also been shown to degenerate with aging. Rhythms tend to lose amplitude as activity falls with age and as a general loss of regulation (especially time of day where maximal activity might be found) of activity across the 24-h span occurs. As with behavioral variables, changes in enzyme rhythms appear to accurately predict aging. Generally speaking, the loss of temporal organization with age, characterized by decreased circadian amplitude, loose internal synchronization, and poor response to external environmental time queues, is associated with poor health states and decreased longevity. Temporal rhythms for whole animal parameters are highly correlated with molecular events, such as regulation of cellular metabolism. DNA repair, and gene expression. Significant effort including field work has been devoted to develop a natural gas extraction technology from natural gas hydrate reservoirs through the inj.ction of carbon dioxide. Natural gas hydrate is practically methane hydrate. The hypothesis is that carbon dioxide will be stored as hydrate owing to its favorable stability conditions compared to methane hydrate. Although the dynamics of the CO2/CH4 exchange process are not entirely understood it is established that the exchange process is feasible. The extent is limited but even if the CH4 recovery is optimized there is a need for a CH4/CO2 separation plant to enable a complete cyclic sequence of CO2 capture, inj.ction and CH4 recovery. In this paper we propose an alternative paradigm to the Inj.ct(CO2)/Exchange with(CH4)/Recover(CH4) one namely Recover(CH4) first and then Inj.ct(CO2) for Storage.

The largest longitudinal heating gradients in the tropics exist between the African desert and Asian convective regions during summer once the South Asian monsoon is *** heating gradients are anchored by the latent heat release and net radiative flux convergence over the monsoon region,and by the dominant net radiative flux divergence over the *** apparent relationship is found between the intensity of the Asian summer monsoon circulation and the longitudinal heating gradients mentioned,in addition to the latitudinal heating gradients cross the monsoon *** monsoon circulation measured in terms of the zonal wind component is stronger when the longitudinal heating gradients are large,and vice ***,we claim that the longitudinal heating gradient may be another important factor which influences the intensity of the Asian summer monsoon *** is little evidence that the interannual variability of the longitudinal heating gradients between Africa and Asia and,thus,the intensity of the Asian summer monsoon circulation,is a strong function of the El Nino/Southern Oscillation cycle.
