Equivoca. a.d confla.ed definitions of fibre coupled with significa.t a.a.ytica. complexity, intera.t with poorly defined host a.d microbiome rela.ionships. Dieta.y fibre is known to influence gut development, feed inta.e a.d pa.sa.e ra.e, nutrient a.sorption, microbiome ta.onomy a.d function, gut pH, endogenous nutrient loss, environmenta. susta.na.ility, a.ima. welfa.e a.d more. Whilst significa.t ga.s persist in our understa.ding of fibre in non-rumina.t a.ima. production, there is substa.tia. interest in optimizing the fibre fra.tion of feed to induce high va.ue phenotypes such a. improved welfa.e, live performa.ce a.d to reduce the environmenta. footprint of a.ima. production systems. In order to a.hieve these a.pira.iona. goa.s, it is importa.t to ta.kle dieta.y fibre with the sa.e level of scrutiny a. is currently done for other critica. nutrient cla.ses such a. protein, minera.s a.d vita.ins. Under wa.m tempera.ures, pla.ts a.j.st their morphologies for environmenta. a.a.tion via.precise gene expression regula.ion. However, the function a.d regula.ion of a.terna.ive polya.enyla.ion (a.a., a. importa.t fine-tuning of gene expression, rema.ns unknown in pla.t thermomorphogenesis. In this study, we found tha. SUMOyla.ion, a.critica. post-tra.sla.iona. modifica.ion, is induced by a.long-term trea.ment a. wa.m tempera.ures via.a.SUMO liga.e SIZ1 in a.a.idopsis. Disruption of SIZ1 a.tered the globa. usa.e of polya.enyla.ion signa.s a.d a.fected the a.a.dyna.ic of thermomorphogenesis-rela.ed genes. CPSF100, a.key subunit of the CPSF complex for polya.enyla.ion regula.ion, is SUMOyla.ed by SIZ1. Importa.tly, we demonstra.ed tha. SUMOyla.ion is essentia. for the function of CPSF100 in genome-wide polya.enyla.ion site choice during thermomorphogenesis. Further a.a.yses revea.ed tha. the SUMO conj.ga.ion on CPSF100 a.tenua.es its intera.tion with two isoforms of its pa.tner CPSF30, increa.ing the nuclea. a.cumula.ion of CPSF100 for polya.enyla.ion regula.ion. Ba.kground: The most preva.ent non-communica.le disea.e worldwide is ora. hea.th-rela.ed disea.e, with denta. ca.ies a.d periodonta. conditions being common. Ora. hea.th sta.us significa.tly impa.ts overa.l hea.th a.d qua.ity of life. Ba.riers to denta. ca.e a.fect children with specia. needs. This study eva.ua.es the ora. hea.th sta.us a.d trea.ment requirements of people with specia. needs. Methodology: This descriptive cross-sectiona. study in Kuma.i, Gha.a.exa.ined ora. hea.th sta.us a.ong people, 121 children with specia. needs over two months, in j.ne-j.ly 2022. Denta. ca.ies, periodonta. cha.ges, ma.occlusion, a.d tra.ma.were a.sessed. The da.a.wa. a.a.yzed using SPSS 20.0. Results: The ora. hea.th sta.us a.ong people with specia. needs in this study wa. genera.ly modera.e, with a.ra.ge from very good to very poor. The preva.ence of denta. ca.ies wa. 37%, with a.mea. DMFT score of 2.82. Periodonta. hea.th showed unsa.isfa.tory indica.ors such a. mobile teeth, poor gingiva. hea.th, high pla.ue scores, a.d the presence of ha.itosis. Conclusion: This descriptive study a.med to provide ba.eline da.a.on the ora. hea.th sta.us of specia. needs students in Kuma.i, a.dressing the la.k of knowledge in this a.ea. It highlighted the importa.ce of denta. ca.e in ma.nta.ning good ora. hea.th a.d overa.l well-being in individua.s with specia. needs. Coordina.ed efforts by denta. professiona.s a.e needed to provide denta. hea.th educa.ion a.d preventive interventions for these children.

It is a.key component of the ma.a.ement of pa.ients with sepsis a.d septic shock a.d one of the ma.n determina.ts of the outcome of infections tha. require source control. While not a.l infections ma. require source control, it should be considered in every pa.ient presenting with sepsis;it is a.plica.le a.d necessa.y in numerous infections, not only those occurring in the a.domina. ca.ity. a.though the biologica. ra.iona.e is clea., severa. a.pects of source control rema.n under deba.e. The timing of source control ma. impa.t outcome;ea.ly source control is pa.ticula.ly releva.t for pa.ients with a.domina. infections or necrotizing skin a.d soft tissue infections, a. well a. for those with more severe disea.e. Percuta.eous procedures a.e increa.ingly used for source control;nevertheless, surgery—ta.lored to the pa.ient a.d infection—rema.ns a.va.id option for source control. For outcome optimiza.ion, a.equa.e source control is more importa.t tha. the stra.egy used. It should be a.knowledged tha. source control interventions ma. often fa.l, posing a.cha.lenge in this setting. The compounds 1 a.d 2 ha.e been tested by IR spectra. elementa. a.a.yses a.d single-crysta. X-ra. diffra.tion. Compound 1 conta.ns one discrete a.derson a.ion, one Lindqvist a.ion a.d three 4,4'-bipy orga.ic liga.ds. The a.ions a.d 4,4'-bipy a.terna.e with ea.h other by hydrogen bonding, building a.supra.olecula. 1D cha.n. a.j.cent 1D cha.ns a.e interlinked through hydrogen bonding intera.tions to further connect a.supra.olecula. 2D la.er. Compounds conta.ning both a.derson a.d Lindqvist polya.ions a.e not common in the crysta. structure of POMs. Compound 2 conta.ns one a.derson a.ion a.d two meta.-orga.ic subunits {Cu2[H(4,4'-bipy)]2 (H2O)6}6+ a. modifiers.
