A four-element compact dual-band patch antenna having a common ground plane operating at 28/38 GHz is proposed formillimeter-wave communication systems in this ***-input-multiple-output(MIMO)antenna geometry consists of a slotted ellipse enclosed within a hollow circle which is orthogonally rotated with a connected partial ground at the *** overall size of the four elements MIMO antenna is 2.24λ×2.24λ(at 27.12GHz).The prototype of four-element MIMOresonator is designed and printed using Rogers RTDuroid 5880 withε_(r)=2.2 and loss tangent=0.0009 and having a thickness of 0.8 *** covers dual-band having a fractional bandwidth of 15.7%(27.12-31.34 GHz)and 4.2%(37.21-38.81 GHz)for millimeter-wave applications with a gain of more than 4 dBi at both *** proposed antenna analysis in terms ofMIMOdiversity parameters(Envelope Correlation Coefficient(ECC)and Diversity Gain(DG))is also carried *** experimental result in terms of reflection coefficient,radiation pattern,gain and MIMOdiversity parameter correlates very well with the simulated ones that show the potential of the proposed design for MIMO applications at millimeter-wave frequencies.

Cervical cancer is screened by pap smear methodology for detection and classification *** smear images of the cervical region are employed to detect and classify the abnormality of cervical *** this paper,we proposed the first system that it ables to classify the pap smear images into a seven classes *** smear images are exploited to design a computer-aided diagnoses system to classify the abnormality in cervical images *** features that have been extracted using ResNet101 are employed to discriminate seven classes of images in Support Vector Machine(SVM)*** success of this proposed system in distinguishing between the levels of normal cases with 100%accuracy and 100%*** top of that,it can distinguish between normal and abnormal cases with an accuracy of 100%.The high level of abnormality is then studied and classified with a high *** the other hand,the low level of abnormality is studied separately and classified into two classes,mild and moderate dysplasia,with∼92%*** proposed system is a built-in cascading manner with five models of polynomial(SVM)*** overall accuracy in training for all cases is 100%,while the overall test for all seven classes is around 92%in the test phase and overall accuracy reaches 97.3%.The proposed system facilitates the process of detection and classification of cervical cells in pap smear images and leads to early diagnosis of cervical cancer,which may lead to an increase in the survival rate in women.

随着制造业的快速发展,复杂生产过程中的质量管控越来越受到重视。生产过程质量控制目标是以最低成本生产出高质量产品,为合理对生产过程进行监控,提高对制造过程数据进行收集和分析,以处理生产过程中可能出现的所有问题。统计过程控制是帮助产品质量平衡和降低失效成本的过程控制工具,随着计算机发展与计算机技术的进步,传统的质量图控制方法已经不适用于大数据时代,以机器学习成为质量图控制方法的主流。本文通过机器学习算法,设计了一个用于混合控制图模式识别的智能网络。所提网络主要由三个部分组成:特征提取、参数优化和分类器。为有效获得每一种状态的特征,分别使用形状和统计特征进行提取,使用主成分分析（Principal Component Analysis,PCA）对特征进行二次提取,使用支持向量机（Support Vector Machines,SVM）对数据进行特征提取,并输出控制图类别。合理选择惩罚参数和核参数可以提升模型的性能,本研究通过遗传算法对模型的参数选择进行优化。为评估所提模型的性能,通过六种基本控制图和四种混合物控制图集合以及三个不同的实验对所提方法的有效性进行评估。实验1分别测试和对了BP、MSVM、PCA＿MSVM和PCA＿MSVM＿GA的模式识别结果,实验表明基于形状和统计特征提出的混合PCA＿MSVM＿GA方法比其他三种模型的性能更好。实验2测试和对比了FFR、PD和SSF模型,发现融合特征的FFR方法比其他模型的准确率更高,基于PCA＿MSVM＿GA＿FFR的实验能够更好的实现控制图的识别。实验3对比了深度学习方法,结果表明虽深度学习方法流程更加快捷,但准确率低于本文所提方法。为更好的实现混合控制图模式识别问题,本文首先使用控制图的形状和统计特征进行提取,然后使用PCA对特征进行二次提取。为更好的实现控制图识别,通过GA对SVM的核参数进行优化,使模型能够达到更好的性能。最后通过实验分析发现结合融合特征的FFR方法能够使所提模型达到更高的识别准确率,有效得对控制图进行识别,实现对生产过程的监控。

Headedness in Yorǘhbá： An Examination of the Deviant Value of Determiner Phrase

The issue of ＂headedness＂ is a product of Chomsky＇s （1988） notion of UG （Universal Grammar） that led to the development of a framework known as P＆P （Principles and Parameters） theory. It is this theory we have adopted for our analysis in this paper. The purpose of this paper is to examine the inconsistency in the value of Head Parameter with reference to the value of DP （determiner phrase） in Yorfib^i. As a native speaker of Yorfib~, the author has adopted an introspective method of data collection and used the intuitive knowledge of other native speakers of the language for necessary clarifications. Despite the fact that English and Yorfib~ are both head-initial, the structure of the NPs （noun phrases） in English shows that the head noun is always pre-modified, making the NP ＂head-final＂--a violation of the value of Head Parameter in the language. This necessitated the need for Abney＇s （1987） DP hypothesis; in which the determiner heads its own phrase, thereby making a NP in English head-initial. This solves the problem of Head Parameter in English. However, since nouns in Yor/lb^i are post-modified, adopting ＂DP-analysis＂ will automatically produce head-final--a violation of the value of Head Parameter in the language. Given the inconsistency in the specification of head-complement order among the noun phrases in English and Yorfib~, this paper proposes to set a parameter for SVO （Subject-Verb-Object） languages with pre-modification （like English） to adopt ＂DP-analysis＂, and those with post-modification （like Yorfib^t） to adopt ＂NP-analysis＂. This will ensure ＂head-initial＂ value for the two categories of SVO languages

In this paper we show that, under some conditions, if M is a manifold with Bakry-émery Ricci curvature bounded below and with bounded potential function then M is compact. We also establish a volume comparison theorem for manifolds with nonnegative Bakry-émery Ricci curvature which allows us to prove a topolological rigidity theorem for such manifolds.

Experimental Analysis of Sediment Deposition Due to the Effect of an Upstream Reservoir Backwater

The phenomenon of aggradation due to sediment accumulation upstream reservoirs had been studied in this research. For this purpose, groups of experiments were conducted in a laboratory with 25 m long, 0.80 m wide and 0.70 m deep channel. A block was built at the end of the channel to work as a dam to impound water. The channel was supplied with drainage pipes on both sides to release water out in a manner similar to what happens in reservoirs. The bed of the channel was filled with sand of 0.80 mm median sieve diameter and 0.72 geometric standard deviation. The slope was 0.0093 for all experiments. Two sizes of sand were used representing the sediment. The median diameter and geometric standard deviation of the first were 0.365 mm and 0.46 mm, respectively. The second sample had 0.65 mm median diameter and 0.67 standard deviation. A total of 70 experiments were conducted in two groups to examine effects of sediment transport rate, particle size of sediment and flow velocity on aggradation characteristics. The results showed that there was a strong linear direct relationship between aggradation elements （length and depth） with the rate of sediment transport. Groups of dimensionless parameters affecting the aggradation characteristics were used to develop empirical equations to predict the length, maximum depth of aggradation and predict transient bed profile. The results of empirical approach were compared with the measurement data and previous numerical method. The results indicated that the percentage error was 19% to 31% for length of aggradation and -21% to 26% for maximum depth of aggradation. The results also showed that the sediment materials were deposited closer to the body of the dam when the released water from the dam is higher than the inflow.

Automated Recovery of the 2012 Sumatera Aftershock Sequence Using Waveform Cross Correlation

We assess the performance of waveform cross correlation as applied to automatic and interactive processing of the aftershock sequence of the April 11, 2012 Sumatera Ms（IDC） = 8.2 earthquake. The XSEL （cross correlation standard event list） is compared to the REB （Reviewed Event Bulletin） issued by the IDC （International Data Centre）. The latter includes 1,181 aftershocks between April 11 and May 25. To automatically recover the sequence, sixteen aftershocks were selected from the IDC SEL3 （Standard Event List） available on April 13 and used as master events. Waveform templates from only seven IMS （International Monitoring System） array stations with the largest SNR （signal-to-noise ratio） for the main shock were used to calculate cross correlation coefficients. Approximately 620,000 arrivals were detected and then used to build events according to the IDC definition. After conflict resolution between event hypotheses with similar arrivals found by more than one master, all survived hypotheses populated the XSEL. The total number of distinct hypotheses was 4,924, with 2,763 hypotheses not matched by the REB, i.e. potentially new REB events. To evaluate the quality of the XSEL, we randomly selected a representative portion （-15%） from 2,763 hypotheses and reviewed them interactively according to standard IDC rules and guidelines. There were 119 new REB events built and 145 XSEL hypotheses rejected. Several frequency and probability density distributions have been constructed for all detections, the associated detections, the XSEL detections, the detections in the new REB, and rejected events.

Monitoring and Evaluating the Sedimentation Process in Mosul Dam Reservoir Using Trap Efficiency Approaches

Reservoirs are usually exposed to sediment accumulation problems that will lead to reduction in their storage capacity. This problem directly affects the performance of the dams and causes shortage of their useful life. The simplest technique to estimate sediment deposition rate is using sediment rating curve with sediment trapping efficiency (TE) of the reservoir. Many empirical and semi-empirical approaches have been suggested for to determine this term depending on the annual inflow rate, reservoir characteristics and features of the catchments area. In this study six different empirical methods depending on the residence time principle (water retention time) were used. These approaches were reviewed and applied to determine TE of Mosul dam reservoir (MDR) for period 1986 to 2011. The monthly operating data for inflow, outflow and water elevations for MDR were used to determine monthly TE and long-term TE for whole period of MDR using the mentioned methods. Furthermore, the monthly inflow rate for River Tigris upstream MDR, its sediment rating curve and sediment feeding from valleys around MDR were used to estimate the amount sediment coming to the reservoir. The results provided by these methods for TE with sediment coming to MDR were used to compute the amount of sediment deposited in MDR on monthly bases during this period. The results obtained were evaluated using observed bathymetric survey data that had been collected in 2011 after 25 years of the operation of the dam. The results showed all the mentioned methods gave convergent results and they were very close to bathymetric survey results for estimating the volume of sediment deposited especially that proposed by Ward which gave 0.368% percentage error. Furthermore, the result computed using monthly TE gave good agreement if compared with that long-term TE where the percentage error was ranging between –3.229% to 1.674% for monthly adopted data and –4.862% to?–2.477% for whole period data. Sediment Delivered in the Upper Part of Mosul Using Physical Model

Mosul dam is the biggest hydraulic structure in Iraq located on the River Tigris 60 km northwest of Mosul city. Its storage capacity is 11. 11 × 109 m3 and it had been in operation since 1986. A physical distorted model with movable bed having a vertical scale 1： 100 and a horizontal scale 1：1000 was used to conduct the experiments relating the water level at the reservoir and water discharge upstream the reservoir with the bed load transport rate. The model represents the first 15 km of most northern part of Mosul dam reservoir. The construction of the model was based on bathymetric survey conducted in 2009. Twenty-four experiments were executed using four different discharges （0.5, 1.0, 1.5, and 2.0 L/s） which represent the average discharges in the flood period of River Tigris. At each individual discharge six operations were assumed where the reservoir＇s water level was 305, 307, 309, 310, 312, 315 meters above sea level respectively. In all the experiments conducted, bedload transport was measured in the physical model at section representing the River Tigris 1 km upstream the reservoir. The results showed that the bedload rate was decreasing when the water level within the reservoir was increasing. It was also evident that bedload transport rate dramatically decreased at level 310 meters above sea level onward. This is due to the fact that at this level represent the effect of backwater which was noticeable on the river cross section
