Despite the potential ecological and economic impacts of invasive species,there is a dearth of data on the presence,impacts,and management implications of potentially invasive Orthoptera *** lack of research and inconsistent data,including risk screenings and impact assessments,is especially evident in ***,assessing the status,distribution,and potential threats of nonnative Orthoptera in Europe remains challenging,impeding the development of effective management *** address this gap,we call for increased efforts to collect and curate data on non-native and possibly invasive Orthoptera in *** efforts will improve our understanding of this order’s invasion dynamics,facilitate the identification of priority areas for conservation,and support the development of effective management policies and preventive measures.

Colorectal cancer(CRC)remains one of the most commonly diagnosed and deadliest types of cancer *** displays a desmoplastic reaction(DR)that has been inversely associated with poor prognosis;less DR is associated with a better *** reaction generates excessive connective tissue,in which cancer-associated fibroblasts(CAFs)are critical cells that form a part of the tumor *** are directly involved in tumorigenesis through different ***,their role in immunosuppression in CRC is not well understood,and the precise role of signal transducers and activators of transcription(STATs)in mediating CAF activity in CRC remains *** the myriad chemical and biological factors that affect CAFs,different cytokines mediate their function by activating STAT signaling ***,the harmful effects of CAFs in favoring tumor growth and invasion may be modulated using STAT ***,we analyze the impact of different STATs on CAF activity and their immunoregulatory role.

BACKGROUnD Chronic hepatitis B(CHB)virus infection is a major cause of liver-associated morbidity and mortality,particularly in low-income countries.A better understanding of the epidemiological,clinical,and virological characteristics of CHB will guide appropriate treatment strategies and improve the control and management of CHB in *** To investigate the characteristics of CHB in Eastern Ethiopia and assess the efficacy and safety of antiviral *** This cohort study included 193 adults who were human immunodeficiency virus-negative with CHB between June 2016 and December *** assessments included chemistry,serologic,and viral markers.χ2 tests,Mann-Whitney U tests,and logistic regression analyses were used to identify the determinants of *** disoproxil fumarate(TDF)was initiated using treatment criteria from the Ethiopian CHB pilot *** A total of 132 patients(68.4%)were men,with a median age of 30 years[interquartile range(IQR):24-38].At enrollment,60(31.1%)patients had cirrhosis,of whom 35(58.3%)had decompensated *** use,hepatitis B envelope antigen positivity,and a high viral load were independently associated with ***,66 patients(33.4%)fulfilled the treatment criteria and 59(30.6%)started *** 29 patients who completed 24 months of treatment,the median aspartate aminotransferase to platelet ratio index declined from 1.54(IQR:0.66-2.91)to 1.10(IQR:0.75-2.53)(P=0.002),and viral suppression was achieved in 80.9%and 100%of patients after 12 months and 24 months of treatment,*** the treated patients,12(20.3%)died within the first 6 months of treatment,of whom 8 had decompensated *** This study highlights the high prevalence of cirrhosis,initial mortality,and the efficacy of TDF *** up measures to prevent and control CHB infections in Ethiopia is crucial.

Retro Placental Hematoma: Maternal and Fetal Prognosis at the Maternity of the University Hospital of Bouake

Introduction: Retroplacental haematoma (RPH) is a very serious complication of pregnancy, with life-threatening consequences for both the mother and foetus. The aim of this study is to determine the incidence and epidemiological characteristics of patients with retroplacental haematoma (RPH) and describe the maternal-foetal complications at Bouaké University Hospital. Methods: This was a cross-sectional prospective, descriptive and analytical study carried out at Bouaké University Hospital over a period of 3 years, from January 1, 2019 to December 31, 2021. All parturients with RPH whose delivery took place at the hospital were included in the study. Data were entered and analysed using EPI InFO software version 7.***.2.6. Results: We recorded 2,0959 deliveries, including 202 cases of RPH, representing an incidence of 0.96%. The 21 to 35 age group accounted for 64.4%, multigestas and large multigestas accounted for 58.5% and multiparas accounted for 41.6%. The main signs on clinical examination were metrorrhagia (100%), arterial hypertension (84.6%) and cervical cerclage (79.7%). Preeclampsia accounted for 50% of per-gestational pathologies. Maternal mortality was 12.9%. Morbidity was dominated by anaemia in 64.1%, followed by disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC) in 21.8%, and the factors associated with this maternal prognosis were multiple gestations, multiparity, Sher grade IIIb and the occurrence of complications such as DIC, shock, renal complications and HELLP syndrome. neonatal mortality was 79.2%, and the factors associated with these fetal prognoses were cup size ≥ 5 cm and hematoma weight ≥ 500 g. Conclusion: Better screening of at-risk populations, early diagnosis and treatment in an organised and equipped medical and surgical facility would improve prognosis.

This work presents a different approach to twin primes, an approach from the perspective of the Tesla numbers and gives a refresh and new observation of twin primes that could lead us to an answer to the Twin Prime Conjecture problem. We expose a peculiar relation between twin primes and the generation of prime numbers with Tesla numbers. Tesla numbers seem to be present in so many domains like time, vibration and frequency [1], and the space between twin primes is not the exception. Let us say that twin primes are more than just prime numbers plus 2 or minus 2, and Tesla numbers are more involved with twin primes than we think, and hopefully, this approach give us a better understanding of the distribution of the twin pairs.

This research work relates the surface of a square and the area circumscribed by a circle, resulting in a value called nikola Tesla constant. This constant starts with the calculation of the areas of the square and the inscribed circle, giving a ratio of 9/40 and from which a residual area of the area proportions of the geometric figures described is obtained. Plotting smooth curves, particularly those in round shapes, can be represented efficiently with the use of nikola Tesla constant, reducing complex mathematical calculus.

Background: Scrotal trauma is a rare injury, and can compromise reproductive function. If in closed trauma, a morphological assessment of the lesion is usually necessary before treatment, in open trauma otherwise, namely in the case of testicular evisceration, surgical exploration is the rule. Objective: To present the management of open scrotal trauma. Case Presentation: These were two adults aged 42 and 63, admitted for post-traumatic testicular evisceration. One of the patients presented with signs of infection due to a diagnosis delay. Management consisted on surgical exploration, with scrotal debridement and testicular reintegration. The evolution was favourable. Conclusion: Open scrotal trauma is a rare lesion that can cause testicular evisceration. It requires surgical exploration, which should be systematic.

Background: Elbow dislocations in pediatric patients are rare injuries. This is a therapeutic emergency because a delay in treatment can have disastrous consequences on the functional level of the upper limb. Objective: To present the management of elbow dislocation in children in cases of limited resources. Presentation of the Cases: These were 2 older male children aged 7 and 9 years old, admitted to the emergency room for painful functional impotence of the right elbow after a fall and landing on the right hand. Clinical and radiological examinations were in favor of posterior elbow dislocations. The reductions were carried out under sedation and immobilization in Jersey. According to Robert’s criteria, the functional result was excellent in both patients. Conclusion: Emergency reduction and immobilization whatever the means ensure an excellent functional prognosis even in cases of limited resources.
