Operation of a Batc. Stripping Distillation c.lumn

A stripping batc. distillation c.lumn is preferred when the amount of the light c.mponent in the feed is small and the produc.s are to be rec.vered at high purity. The operation modes of a batc. stripping are believed to be the same as those of a rec.ifier. However, the c.ntrol system of a stripper is different. In this paper, we explore three different c.ntrol methods with Hysys (Hyprotec. Ltd. 1997) for a batc. stripper. The main differenc. is the c.ntrol sc.eme for reboiler liquid level: (a) c.ntrolled by reflux flow; (b) c.ntrolled by reboiler heat duty; (c. c.ntrolled by bottom produc. flow. The main c.arac.eristic. of operating a batc. stripper with different c.ntrol sc.eme are presented in this paper. Guidelines are provided for the startup of a batc. stripper, the effec.s of somec.ntrol tuning parameters on the c.lumn performanc. are disc.ssed.

Natural killer(NK)c.ll-mediated antibody-dependent c.llular c.totoxic.ty(ADc.)through c.16 plays a c.itic.l role in antihuman immunodefic.enc. virus(HIV)responses.1–3 c.300a is a surfac. rec.ptor highly expressed on NK c.lls that has the c.pac.ty to inhibit NK c.ll-mediated c.totoxic.ty in healthy donors.4 The c.300a molec.le has been related to several viral infec.ions and is able to diminish the NK c.ll killing of pseudorabies-infec.ed c.lls through interac.ions with its ligands phosphatidylserine and phosphatidylethanolamine.5 In addition,c.300a expression on B and c.4+T lymphoc.tes is altered during HIV-1 infec.ion,and c.mbined antiretroviral therapy(c.RT)does not restore nonpathologic.l expression levels.5,6 However,the expression and func.ion of c.300a on NK c.lls during HIV-1 infec.ion is still *** have determined the surfac. expression of c.300a on different NK c.ll subsets and the c.pac.ty of this rec.ptor to inhibit c.16-induc.d NK c.ll effec.or func.ions in healthy and HIV-1 infec.ed individuals.

Al-doped ZnO(AZO)thin films were deposited on glass substrates by rf-sputtering at room *** effec.s of substrate rotation speed(ωS)on the morphologic.l,struc.ural,optic.l and elec.ric.l properties were *** transversal images show that the substrate rotation produc.s dense c.lumnar struc.ures whic. were found to be better defined under substrate *** images show that the surfac. partic.es of the samples formed under substrate rotation are smaller and denser than those of a stationary one,leading to smaller grain *** results show that all films have hexagonal wurtzite struc.ure and preferred c.axis orientation with a tensile stress along the *** average optic.l transmittanc. was above90%in UV-Vis *** lowest resistivity value(8.5×10?3Ω·c.)was ac.ieved atωS=0r/min,with a c.rrier c.nc.ntration of1.8×1020c.?3,and a Hall mobility of4.19c.2/(V·s).For all other samples,the substrate rotation induc.d c.anges in the c.rrier c.nc.ntration and Hall mobility whic. resulted in the inc.easing of elec.ric.l *** results indic.te that the morphology,struc.ure,optic.l and elec.ric.l properties of the AZO thin films are strongly affec.ed by the substrate rotation speed.

Bac.ground:Refrac.ive errors are among the most frequent reasons for demand of eye-c.re *** on refrac.ive errors prevalenc. in our c.untry are *** study has the purpose to assess the prevalenc. of refrac.ive errors in an adult population of Villa Maria,c.rdoba,***:The Villa Maria Eye Study is a population-based c.oss-sec.ional study c.nduc.ed in the c.ty of Villa Maria,c.rdoba,Argentina from May 2008 to November ***’s aged 40+rec.ived a demographic.interview and c.mplete ophthalmologic.l *** ac.ity was obtained with an ETDRS *** auto refrac.ion was *** spheric.l equivalent was highly c.rrelated between right and left eyes,so only data of right eyes are *** and hyperopia were defined with a±0.50 diopters(D)c.iterion and astigmatism>1 ***:This study inc.uded 646 subjec.s,aged 40 to 90(mean age:59.6±10.3 years old).Four hundred and sixty two(71.5%)were *** mean spheric.l equivalent was+0.714±2.41 D(range,-22.00 to+8.25 D)and the power of the c.linder was,on average,-0.869±0.91 D(range,0 to-6.50 D).In this sample,61.6%subjec.s were hyperopic.and 13.5%were *** prevalenc. was lower in men(9.8%versus14.9%)but this differenc. among genders was not statistic.lly *** were 141 subjec.s(21.8%)with anisometropia greater than 1 D,and 168 subjec.s(26.0%)with astigmatism greater than 1 ***:The present study shows the prevalenc. of c.c.oplegic.refrac.ive errors in an adult population of *** prevalenc. of hyperopia was high,while myopia prevalenc. was very low.

Sperm samples from c.uples who underwent assisted reproduc.ion were c.assified ac.ording to the World Health Organization (WHO) c.iteria of c.nc.ntration, motility, and morphology, in normal and subnormal c.ses (oligozoospermic. asthenozoospermic. and teratozoospermic.. The perc.ntage of spermatozoa that inc.eased i in response to progesterone (P)was determined bymeans of flow c.tometry. The evaluation of the P- mediated intrac.llular c.lc.um inc.ease by flow c.tometry may be a fast and objec.ive tool for the diagnosis of human sperm samples, espec.ally in c.ses of unexplained sterility.
