Development of conservation biological control programs requires the identifi-cation of sources that contribute to predator colonization of *** pygmaeus(Rambur)(Hemiptera:Miridae)is an efficient polyphagous predator used in biological con-trol programs in vegetable crops in *** have developed a marking method based on spraying with a solution of the brine shrimp Artemia spp.(Anostraca:Artemidac)cysts,followed by a PCR detection of Artemia DNA to monitor *** dispersal from banker plants to tomato *** conducted in climatic chambers show that the topical application of this marking solution on *** does not significantly reduce adult longevity and that it is detected up to 6 d after the *** this Artemia solution was applied on Calendula officinalis *** plants harboring *** and maintained outdoors,Artemia DNA was still detected on 62%of the insects after6 *** conducted field applications in commercial greenhouses have confirmed the usefulness of this method to monitor *** dispersal from banker plants to a newly planted tomato *** method can be used to assess arthropod movement,being an interesting molecular approach for further improving future pest management strategies.

PurposeTo review the pathogenesis, clinical presentation, diagnostic assessment and treatment regimens of steroid-induced bone loss.Data sourcesAn English-language literature search(MEDLINE 1966-1999)and bibliographic reviews of textbooks and review articles.Study selectionCross-sectional and prospective studies with BMD measurements or fracture rate.ResultsThe greatest rate of bone loss occur during the first 6 to 12 months of steroid therapy, affecting trabecular more than cortical bone. High steroid dosage for a prolonged period, prevalent fracture, hypogonadism, older age, low calcium intake and family history of osteoporosis are risk factors for steroid-induced bone loss. Based on bone density results, patients with osteoporosis or osteopenia with a T-score below-1.5 should receive antiresorptive treatment during steroid therapy. Among the various antiresorptive agents, bisphosphonates have the strongest evidence of preventing steroid-induced bone loss.ConclusionThe most important step in the management of steroid-induced osteoporosis is the proper assessment of the individual patient's risk of bone loss, and the selection of appropriate antiresorptive agent for each patient. With the rise of linked data and knowledge graphs,the need becomes compelling to find suitable solutions to increase the coverage and correctness of data sets,to add missing knowledge and to identify and remove *** approaches-mostly relying on machine learning and natural language processing techniques-have been proposed to address this refinement goal;they usually need a partial gold standard,i.e.,some“ground truth”to train automatic *** standards are manually constructed,either by involving domain experts or by adopting crowdsourcing and human computation *** this paper,we present an open source software framework to build Games with a Purpose for linked data refinement,i.e.,Web applications to crowdsource partial ground truth,by motivating user participation through fun *** detail the impact of this new resource by explaining the specific data linking“purposes”supported by the framework(creation,ranking and validation of links)and by defining the respective crowdsourcing tasks to achieve those *** also introduce our approach for incremental truth inference over the contributions provided by players of Games with a Purpose(also abbreviated as GWAP):we motivate the need for such a method with the specificity of GWAP *** crowdsourcing;we explain and formalize the proposed process,explain its positive consequences and illustrate the results of an experimental comparison with state-of-the-art *** show this resource’s versatility,we describe a set of diverse applications that we built on top of it;to demonstrate its reusability and extensibility potential,we provide references to detailed documentation,including an entire tutorial which in a few hours guides new adopters to customize and adapt the framework to a new use case.

Rodents are reservoirs of various types of hantavirus,some of which are agents of hantavirus pulmonary syndrome in *** hantavirus is associated with a single rodent host species but successive spill-over events may eventually lead to host-switching and new species’becoming host of a given *** study aims to gain an understanding of the spatial ecology of two hantavirus-host species,Akodon azarae,and Oligoryzomys flavescens,by identifying factors modulating their home range sizes and stability,and by evaluating intra-and interspecific spatial aggregation for these species and a third one—Oxymycterus rufus—living in *** this,eleven capture-mark-recapture surveys were carried out,spanning 22 *** found that *** males have larger and more mobile home ranges than females,independently of the ***,males could likely have a more relevant role in the transmission of hantavirus because of their greater exposure both to a higher number of contacts between individuals and viral contamination of the ***,*** individuals showed negligible displacements of their home range through time,which could limit the range of hantavirus spread in host *** *** is host to Lechiguanas hantavirus(pathogenic to humans)this result encompasses epidemiological relevance,for it may imply the existence of local foci of ***,individuals of both species performed excursions outside their home *** events could enable hantavirus spread over distances beyond the normal range of movements and lead to new hantavirus outbreaks in formerly non-infected rodent populations,favoring the persistence of the virus in nature.

智能医疗系统为人们提供健康服务,该系统使得医生与患者之间可以不受地域限制地进行交流并为患者提供医疗帮助。智能医疗系统包括附着在人体上的可穿戴设备与传感器,这些设备与传感器使用全球定位系统(GPS)向医疗服务提供者不断发送患者的位置以及时间戳信息,这些信息在发送给医疗服务提供者时可能会导致患者位置及敏感信息的泄露,因此必须得到保护。本文使用两种基于边缘服务器的方法来保护患者的位置隐私,我们使用机器学习方法根据从边缘服务器的传感器中采集到的患者生命体征来检测紧急和非紧急情况。为了保护位置隐私,我们对紧急情况采用了加密机制,以便医疗服务提供者可以访问患者的真实位置并快速提供服务,且在需要时向该患者发送救护车。而对于非紧急情况,我们使用匿名机制生成具有患者匿名位置的匿名区域。云服务器用来处理边缘服务器无法处理的情况,由于边缘服务器的存储容量有限,云服务器也用于存储匿名位置。为了评估系统的性能,我们进行了一项实验,展示了我们的方法在保护位置隐私方面的优势。边缘服务器的使用使得用户在线查询变得更快。

Following the classification of hepatocellular nodules by the International Working Party in 1995 and further elaboration by the International Consensus Group for Hepatocellular Neoplasia in 2009, entities under the spectrum of hepatocellular nodules have been better characterized. Research work hence has been done to answer questions such as distinguishing high-grade dysplastic nodules from early hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), delineating the tumor cell origin of HCC, identifying its prognostic markers, and subtyping hepatocellular adenomas. As a result, a copious amount of data at immunohistochemical and molecular levels has emerged. A panel of immunohistochemical markers including glypican-3, heat shock protein 70 and glutamine synthetase has been found to be of use in the diagnosis of small, well differentiated hepatocellular tumors and particularly of HCC. The use of liver fatty acid binding protein (L-FABP), β-catenin, glutamine synthetase, serum amyloid protein and C-reactive protein is found to be helpful in the subtyping of hepatocellular adenomas. The role of tissue biomarkers for prognostication in HCC and the use of biomarkers in subclassifying HCC based on tumor cell origin are also discussed.

Cationic hydrogel with magnetic property was synthesized via radical polymerization and its removal capacity of chromate from contaminated water was found to be 200 mg/*** Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy（FT-IR） study,the mechanism of chromate removal by hydrogel was found to be non-specific adsorption,mainly due to ion exchange,as evidenced by the positively charged functional group,trimethyl ammonium-N＋（CH3）3,in the *** were accordingly determined by testing di？erent oxyanion adsorption onto the *** results of the chromate adsorption experiments illustrated that the amount of chromate adsorbed was nearly equal to that of the chloride released from the hydrogel,which is part of the evidence for ion *** and multi-oxyanion adsorption experiments were also performed,and it was demonstrated that ion removal was species independent,but charge dependent,another characteristic of the ion exchange *** was found that the same Langmuir model can be applied to best fit the findings of single and multi-oxyanion adsorption,which further indicates the mechanism of chromate removal is attributed to ion *** view of the above,the background anions compete for adsorption sites with chromate,evidenced by inhibitive chromate removal in the presence of background electrolytes in the batch studies,further echoing the ion exchange mechanism.

Inflammatory bowel diseases(IBDs) are characterized by a chronic course with an alternation of relapses and *** about prognosis are important for the patient who wants to know how the disease will affect his/her life and also for clinicians to make management *** selection of the patients is the basis for good methodological studies on the course of IBD.A great proportion of data on the course of IBD is derived from a limited number of cohort *** help to define the endpoints for clinical trials and to identify subsets of patients in whom the prognosis of the disease can be stratified according to clinical *** scientific requirements for high-quality studies on prognosis are the following:use of inception cohort,description of referral patterns,completeness of follow-up,objective outcome criteria,blind outcome assessment,adjustment for extraneous prognostic factors and statistical *** analyzed each of these requirements in studies on *** date,prospective and populationbased cohort studies are the standard for an unbiased assessment of prognosis.A better knowledge of the course of disease of chronic disorders ideally requires:(1) data from population-based studies,to avoid selection bias from referral centers in which patients with a more severe disease are usually treated;(2) inclusion of patients seen at the onset of the disease excluding misdiagnosed cases;and(3) follow-up from the onset of the disease to the end without dropouts.
