In this note, we obtain the elliptic estimate for diffusion operator L = △＋△Ф·△ on complete, noncompact Riemannian manifolds, under the curvature condition CD（K, m）, which generalizes B. L. Kotschwar＇s work [5]. As an application, we get estimate on the heat kernel. The Bernstein-type gradient estimate for SchrSdinger-type gradient is also derived.

Background:Adenosine triphosphatase inhibitory factor 1(IF1)is a key protein involved in energy ***1 has been linked to various agerelated diseases,although its relationship with physical activity(PA)remains ***,the apolipoprotein A-I(apoA-I),a PA-modulated lipoprotein,could play a role in this relationship because it shares a binding site with IF1 on the cell-surface ATP *** examined here the associations between chronic PA and plasma IF1 concentrations among older adults,and we investigated whether apoA-I mediated these ***:In the present work,1096 healthy adults(63.8%females)aged 70 years and over who were involved in the Multidomain Alzheimer Prevention Trial study were ***1 plasma concentrations(square root of ng/mL)were measured at the 1-year visit of the Multidomain Alzheimer Prevention Trial,while PA levels(square root of metabolic equivalent task min/week)were assessed using questionnaires administered each year from baseline to the 3-year *** linear regressions were performed to investigate the associations between the first-year mean PA levels and IF1 *** analyses were conducted to examine whether apoA-I mediated these *** linear regressions were carried out to investigate whether the 1-year visit IF1 concentrations predicted subsequent changes in ***:Multiple linear regressions indicated that first-year mean PA levels were positively associated with IF1 concentrations(B=0.021;Se=0.010;p=0.043).Mediation analyses revealed that about 37.7%of this relationship was mediated by apoA-I(B_(ab)=0.008;Se=0.004;p=0.023).Longitudinal investigations demonstrated that higher concentrations of IF1 at the 1-year visit predicted a faster decline in PA levels over the subsequent 2 years(time×IF1:B=0.148;Se=0.066;p=0.025).Conclusion:This study demonstrates that regular PA is associated with plasma IF1 concentrations,and it suggests that apoA-I partly med

High refractive index dielectric nanoantennas strongly modify the decay rate via the Purcell effect through the design of radiative *** to their dielectric nature,the field is mainly confined inside the nanostructure and in the gap,which is hard to probe with scanning probe *** we use single-molecule fluorescence lifetime imaging microscopy(smFLIM)to map the decay rate enhancement in dielectric GaP nanoantenna dimers with a median localization precision of 14 *** measure,in the gap of the nanoantenna,decay rates that are almost 30 times larger than on a glass *** comparing experimental results with numerical simulations we show that this large enhancement is essentially radiative,contrary to the case of plasmonic nanoantennas,and therefore has great potential for applications such as quantum optics and biosensing.

Histone methylation plays crucial roles in epigenetic regulation. The SeT domain proteins are now recognized as generally having methyltransferase activity targeted to specific lysine residues of histones. The enzymes and their specific histone lysine methylation have enormous impacts on the regulation of chromatin structure and function. In this review, we discuss recent advances made on histone lysine methylations and their diverse functions in plant growth and development.

Let f be a Maass eigenform that is a new form of level N on Γ0(N),with Laplace eigenvalue 1/4 + νf2 . Then,all its Fourier coefficients {λf(n)}∞n=1 are real,and we may normalize so that λf (1) = 1. It is proved,in this paper,that the first sign change in the sequence {λf(n)}n∞=1 occurs at some n satisfying n《{(3+|νf|2)N }1/2-δ and (n,N)=1. This generalizes the previous results for holomorphic Hecke eigenforms.
