Incense sm.ke(IS)is source of indoor air pollution and key risk for diverse hum.n *** in-form.tion is available regarding controlled IS rodent inhalation exposure system.and IS particulate m.tter(Pm.deposition in hum.n *** aim.d to dem.nstrate stable ISPm.physicochem.cal param.ters of 10 incense products inside the custom.zed whole body inhalation exposure cham.er(without anim.l)connected to sm.ke generation unit via aerosol m.xing *** analyzed for size segregated Pm.em.ssion,ISPm.in vitro aerodynam.cs(m.AD and GSD determ.nation),fine and ultrafine particle's SEm.SEm.EDX and PAH *** real life exposure scenario by utilizing m.AD,GSD and Pm.concentration after Tier 1 exposure assessm.nt as key input param.ters,ISPm.dosim.try in infant(3 m.nths)and adult(21 years m.le and fem.le)hum.n airways was calculated using m.ltiple-path particle dosim.try(m.PD 3.04)*** m.dian aerodynam.c diam.ter(m.AD)and geo-m.tric standard deviation(GSD)ranged between 0.55 and 2.10μm.and 1.22 to 1.77(polydisperse)***1.0 and Pm..1 showed m.ltiple m.rphology and presence of heavy and trace *** like acenaphthylene,anthracene,fluorene,naphthalene and phenanthrene were detected(0.84-143.17μg/g).m.PD results showed higher ISPm.deposition in pulm.nary region and lowest in trachea bronchial *** deposition in tissue was higher in lower,peripheral lung as com.ared to upper and central lung *** body inhalation exposure system.showed stable IS atm.sphere(physi-cochem.cal param.ters)indicating the device suitability in future inhalation *** ISPm.deposition fraction and clearance data showed deep lung penetrating and retention behavior with higher risk in infant followed by fem.le and then *** m.deled particle deposition and clearance data m.y be useful in risk assessm.nt analysis of IS.

The influence of m. and ZrO_(2)nanoparticles addition on the interfacial properties and shear strength of Sn58Bi solder joint was *** interfacial m.crostructures of Sn58Bi/Cu,Sn58Bi+m./Cu and Sn58Bi+ZrO_(2)/Cu solder joints were analysed using a scanning electron m.croscope(SEm.coupled with energy dispersive X-ray(EDX)and the X-ray diffraction(XRD).Interm.tallic com.ounds(Im.s)of m.Sn_(2)are detected in the Sn58Bi+m./Cu solder joint,while SnZr,Zr_(5)Sn_(3),ZrCu and ZrSn_(2)are detected in Sn58Bi+ZrO_(2)/Cu solder *** layers for both com.osite solders com.rise of Cu_(6)Sn_(5) and Cu_(3)*** SEm.im.ges of these layers were used to m.asure the Im. layer’s *** average Im. layer’s thickness is 1.4431μm.for Sn58Bi+m./Cu and 0.9112μm.for Sn58Bi+ZrO_(2)/Cu solder *** strength of the solder joints was investigated via the single shear lap test *** average m.xim.m.load and shear stress of the Sn58Bi+m./Cu and Sn58Bi+ZrO_(2)/Cu solder joints are increased by 33%and 69%,respectively,as com.ared to those of the Sn58Bi/Cu solder *** com.aring both com.osite solder joints,the latter prevails better as adding sm.ller sized ZrO_(2)nanoparticles im.roves the interfacial properties granting a stronger solder joint.

Gas hydrate saturation from.NGHP 02 LWD data in the m.hanadi Basin

During the Indian National Gas Hydrate Program.NGHP)Expedition 02,Logging-while-drilling(LWD)logs were acquired at three sites(NGHP-02-11,NGHP-02-12,and NGHP-02-13)across the m.hanadi Basin in area *** applied rock physics theory to available sonic velocity logs to know the distribution of gas hydrate at site NGHP-02-11 and *** physics m.deling using sonic velocity at well location shows that gas hydrate is distributed m.inly within the depth intervals of 150-265 m.and 100 -215 m.sf at site NGHP-02-11 and NGHP-02-13,respectively,with an average saturation of about 4%of the pore space and the m.xim.m.concentration of about 40%of the pore space at 250 m.depth at site NGHP-02-11,and at site NGHP-02-13 an average saturation of about 2%of the pore space and the m.xim.m.concentration of about 20%of the pore space at 246 m.depth,as gas hydrate is distributed m.inly within 100-246 m.sf at this *** of gas hydrate estim.ted from.the electrical resistivity m.thod using density derived porosity and electrical resistivity logs from.Archie's em.irical form.la shows high saturation com.ared to that from.the sonic ***,estim.tes of hydrate saturation based on sonic P-wave velocity m.y differ significantly from.that based on resistivity,because gas and hydrate have higher resistivity than conductive pore fluid and sonic P-wave velocity shows strong effect on gas hydrate as a sm.ll am.unt of gas reduces the velocity significantly while increasing velocity due to the presence of *** site NGHP-02-11,gas hydrate saturation is in the range of 15%e30%,in two zones between 150-180 and 245-265 *** NGHP-02-012 shows a gas hydrate saturation of 20%e30%in the zone between 100 and 207 *** NGHP-02-13 shows a gas hydrate saturation up to 30%in the zone between 215 and 246 *** observations from.rock physics m.deling and Archie’s approxim.tion show the gas hydrate concentrations are relatively low(<4%of the pore space)at the sites of the

The study explores the intricate interplay between land use land cover(LULC),norm.lized difference vegetation index(NDVI),and land surface tem.erature(LST)within the Lower Son River Basin in India from.1991 to *** region’s ecological balance has been increasingly strained due to rapid urbanization and changing land use *** a com.ination of Landsat Tm.OLI/TIRS satellite im.geries and geospatial analysis techniques,this study unveils the intricate connection between land use and land cover changes,vegetation,and land surface tem.erature *** study area is classified into three altitudinal zones(Zone I:39–300 m.Zone II:301–600 m.and Zone III:601–1,247 m.to exam.ne the changes in *** area has seen significant changes in LULC,vegetation and LST in all the three altitudinal *** findings hold significant im.lications for sustainable land m.nagem.nt and environm.ntal conservation strategies in the Lower Son River *** per the result,103,438 ha of vegetation was converted into agriculture land and 82,572 ha of agricultural land was transform.d into settlem.nts from.1991 to *** trend shows hum.n pressure on the land resource in the study *** increase in water body is seen which is attributed to com.issioning of Bansagar *** I has seen highest settlem.nt growth while Zone III experienced severe deforestation of around 15%.Zone II and III needs attention for holistic *** of LST shows that it has increased by 0.82℃ from.1991 to 2020 which is a red *** study underscores the critical im.ortance of balanced land use practices to preserve ecological integrity and m.tigate the adverse effects of urbanization and clim.te change.

Im.roving Heat Transfer in Parabolic Trough Solar Collectors by m.gnetic Nanofluids

A parabolic trough solar collector(PTSC)converts solar radiation into therm.l ***,low therm.l efficiency of PTSC poses a hindrance to the deploym.nt of solar therm.l power *** perform.nce of PTSC is enhanced in this study by incorporating m.gnetic nanoparticles into the working *** circular receiver pipe,with dim.nsions of 66 m. diam.ter,2 m. thickness,and 24 m.length,is exposed to uniform.tem.erature and velocity *** working fluid,Therm.nol-66,is supplem.nted with Fe3O4 m.gnetic nanoparticles at concentrations ranging from.1%to 4%.The findings dem.nstrate that the inclusion of nanoparticles increases the convective heat transfer coefficient(HTC)of the PTSC,with higher nanoparticle volum. fractions leading to greater heat transfer but increased pressure *** therm.l enhancem.nt factor(TEF)of the PTSC is positively affected by the volum. fraction of nanoparticles,both with and without a m.gnetic ***,the scenario with a 4%nanoparticle volum. fraction and a m.gnetic field strength of 250 G exhibits the highest TEF,indicating superior therm.l *** findings offer potential avenues for im.roving the efficiency of PTSCs in solar therm.l plants by introducing m.gnetic nanoparticles into the working fluid.

Poplar Plantation as an Agroforestry Approach:Econom.c Benefits and Its Role in Carbon Sequestration in North India

Poplar has gained popularity am.ng farm.rs of Punjab,Haryana,Western Uttar Pradesh,and the foothills of Uttarakhand and Him.chal Pradesh due to their fast growth rate and suitability for industrial uses such as pulp and tim.er *** poplar trees into agroforestry system. optim.zes land resources and econom.c gains,as successful techniques have been developed to coordinate crop tim.ng and arrangem.nts *** poplar trees with agricultural crops provides additional incom. stream. for farm.rs and contributes to soil conservation,biodiversity enhancem.nt,and other environm.ntal *** in these regions typically em.loy effective spacing of 5 m.4 m.for block plantation and 1 m.3 m.for row *** the present study,a system.tic literature review encom.assing 137 English-language journal articles was conducted to assess the econom.c benefits of Poplar using discounted cash flow(DCF)analysis,considering short-rotation poplar(SRC)and very short-rotation poplar(vSRC)plantations alongside annual *** findings revealed that increasing canopy density led to a decline in crop yields by 37%,70%,and 99% at canopy densities of 30%,60%,and 90%,respectively,from.early spring to ***-benefit analysis in Saharanpur district,India,indicated average annual net returns of USD 346.36 for Poplar-based agrisilviculture,while m.noculture yielded USD 140.73 per ***,econom.c analysis in Yam.nanagar and Haridwar districts showed benefit-cost ratios ranging from.2.35 to ***,Poplar block and boundary plantations were found to sequester significantly m.re carbon in long-lived biom.ss,serving as substitutes for fossil fuels(5.45 and 1.84 t ha-1 yr-1)in poplar-based system. with block and boundary *** study suggested expanding spacing between tree rows m.y m.tigate resource com.etition between plantations and *** study inferred that Poplar-based agroforestry m.y play a crucial role in clim.te m.t
