For a long time,it has been argued that the theories and practices devoted to urban planning and management should conform to the fundamental role of planning policies in the production of urban space,but not merely the spatial distribution of the produced *** this wider connotation,this study introduces the notion of Railwayscape,grounded on the theory of‘The Production of Space’,to examine the role of railway station districts as catalysts of urban development through the social production of urban *** present research sets out to establish the notion of Railwayscape and apply it in a railway heritage,i.e.,the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway(DHR)and its point of inception,Siliguri City,***,a criteria-based evaluation of four railway station districts(New Jalpaiguri,Siliguri Town,Siliguri Junction,and Sukna)in Siliguri and its surroundings was *** information regarding the selected four railway station districts is obtained through field observation and key informant consultation,supplemented by published literature and remote sensing *** evaluation is succeeded by the strengths,weaknesses,opportunities and threats(SWOT)analysis accentuating the potential strengths,weaknesses,opportunities and threats associated with the selected four railway station districts and their prospects to become the potential *** results of this research show that there is no railway station district in Siliguri that can fully meet the demands of the locals and tourists,therefore,relfecting a lack of awareness of the historical values of these *** results also indicate that there are significant differences in the relative potentials of railway station districts to become the Railwayscape in urban *** outcomes of this research,therefore,are expected to encourage policy-making insitutions and practitioners to realise the‘place value’of some railway station districts and their potentials to yield better econom

The electrochemical behavior of low carbon steel （API 5L grade B） in 1 mol/L HCI solution with different concentrations of N,Nr-bis（4-formylphenol）-trimethylenediamine Schiff base was studied by electrochemical techniques and density functional theory analysis. The inhibition efficiency was found to increase with increasing inhibitor concentration and decreased with increasing temperature. The high inhibition efficiency was attributed to the blocking of active sites by adsorption of inhibitor molecules on the steel surface. Thermodynamic parameters for the adsorption and activation processes were determined. Galvanostatic polarization data indicated that Schiff base act as a mixed-type inhibitor and the adsorption isotherm obeyed the Langmuir adsorption isotherm. Results obtained from quantum chemical studies show excellent correlations between the quantum chemical parameters and the experimental inhibition efficiencies using density functional theory at the B3LYP/6-31G（d,p） and B3LYP/3-21G basis set levels and ab initio calculations using HF/6-31G（d,p） and HF/3-21G methods.

Ransomware is considered one of the most threatening *** solutions have focused mainly on discriminating ransomware by analyzing the apps themselves,but they have overlooked possible ways of hiding ransomware apps and making them difficult to be detected and then ***,this paper proposes a novel ransomware hiding model by utilizing a block-based High-Efficiency Video Coding(HEVC)steganography *** main idea of the proposed steganography approach is the division of the secret ransomware data and cover HEVC frames into different *** that,the Least Significant Bit(LSB)based Hamming Distance(HD)calculation is performed amongst the secret data’s divided blocks and cover ***,the secret data bits are hidden into the marked bits of the cover HEVC frame-blocks based on the calculated HD *** main advantage of the suggested steganography approach is the minor impact on the cover HEVC frames after embedding the ransomware while preserving the histogram attributes of the cover video frame with a high *** is due to the utilization of an adaptive steganography cost function during the embedding *** proposed ransomware hiding approach was heavily examined using subjective and objective tests and applying different HEVC streams with diverse resolutions and different secret ransomware apps of various *** obtained results prove the efficiency of the proposed steganography approach by achieving high capacity and successful embedding process while ensuring the hidden ransomware’s undetectability within the video *** example,in terms of embedding quality,the proposed model achieved a high peak signal-to-noise ratio that reached 59.3 dB and a low mean-square-error of 0.07 for the examined HEVC ***,out of 65 antivirus engines,no engine could detect the existence of the embedded ransomware app.

The inhibition ability of 2-amino-5-nitrothiazole （Nitramine） against the corrosion of AISI steel 4130 in 1 mol/L HCI solution was evaluated by polarization, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy （EIS） and chronoamperometry. Polarization studies indicated that nitramine retards both the cathodic and anodic reactions through chemical adsorption and blocks the active corrosion sites. The adsorption of this compound obeyed the Temkin＇s adsorption isotherm. The inhibition efficiency was increased with inhibitor concentration as well as temperature. EIS data were analysed by equivalent circuit model shows that as the inhibitor concentration increased the charge transfer resistance of steel increased whilst double layer capacitance decreased. Kinetic and thermodynamic parameters such as activation energy, enthalpy, entropy and free energy of activation and adsorption were calculated. Atomic force microscopy and optical microscopy were used to study the steel surface with and without inhibitor.

Evaluation of active tectonism by means of geomorphic indices has provided crucial semi-quantitative data for evaluating seismic hazards in a fault zone in a semiarid area of the Zagros Mountains of Iran where tectonic rates are low-to-moderate and there are few Quaternary dates. Quaternary activity along the seismically active but poorly understood Sabzpushan fault zone （SFZ） has been investigated. The SFZ consists of two dextral strike-slip faults, the Zafarabad and Kafari faults. Geomorphic indices including mountain front sinuosity, valley asymmetry factor, hypsometric integral, valley floor width to valley height ratio and stream length gradient index were used to assess the effects of active reverse faults which control the topographic relief and Quaternary activity. Geomorphometric and field evidence reveal that the Quaternary activity and topographic relief of the study area are controlled by two reverse faults, the North and South Sabzpushan reverse faults, which have formed a pop-up structure in the contractional step-over area between the Zafarabad and Kafari dextral strikeslip faults as a consequence of oblique convergence between the Afro-Arabian and Iranian plates accommodated by the North and South Sabzpushan thrust faults.

Epoxy zinc rich coatings containing clay nanoparticles were prepared and the effect of clay content on the cathodic protection performance of the coatings was evaluated by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy（EIS） and immersion test. Open circuit potential（OCP） measurements and immersion tests were also carried out to better understand the behavior of zinc rich coating. EIS and OCP measurements showed that addition of 1 wt% clay improved the cathodic protection duration and sacrificial properties of the epoxy zinc rich coating. Transmission electron microscopy（TEM） photographs confirmed that clay nanoparticles were successfully dispersed in the coating matrix loaded with 1 wt% clay. Immersion test results indicated that addition of 1 wt% clay nanoparticles in zinc rich epoxy coatings increased the cathodic protection ability of coatings.

Holograms provide a characteristic manner to display and convey information, and have been improved to provide better user interactions Holographic interactions are important as they improve user interactions with virtual objects. Gesture interaction is a recent research topic, as it allows users to use their bare hands to directly interact with the hologram. However, it remains unclear whether real hand gestures are well suited for hologram applications. Therefore, we discuss the development process and implementation of three-dimensional object manipulation using natural hand gestures in a hologram. We describe the design and development process for hologram applications and its integration with real hand gesture interactions as initial findings. Experimental results from Nasa TLX form are discussed. Based on the findings, we actualize the user interactions in the hologram.
