Comparative study of self-compassion and sense of coherence in nurses of psychiatric hospitals

Objective:Nurses,due to the nature of their job,are subjected to various forms of stress and physical and psychological ***-compassion and a sense of coherence have attracted much attention in research in recent years as having high potential for improving the health and performance of people in the *** present study aimed to compare self-compassion and the sense of coherence in nurses working in psychiatric hospitals and other hospitals of Kerman University of Medical ***:The present study was a descriptive-comparative study of applied type conducted on 100 nurses of Shahid Beheshti Psychiatric Hospital in Kerman by the census method and 100 nurses of other hospitals of Kerman University of Medical Sciences by the stratified random sampling *** instruments included the self-compassion questionnaire and the sense of coherence *** were analyzed using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences ***:The results of the present study showed that self-compassion and sense of coherence were higher in psychiatric nurses(39.35±7.7 and 53.02±8.01)than among other nurses(36.03±5.81 and 49.76±6.30).There was a direct and moderate relationship between a sense of coherence and self-compassion(P-valuef compassion for oneself,the higher was the score of sense of ***,the sense of coherence had a direct and weak relationship with all dimensions of self-compassion,except for the extreme imitation dimension,which showed a direct and moderate relationship to other dimensions(P-valueelf-compassion and a sense of coherence,as a form of self-communication,increase nurses’satisfaction and reduce nurses’job stress and,as a result,job performance is improved.

Variant selection in laser powder bed fusion of non-spherical Ti-6Al-4V powder

The presence ofα/αon priorβ/βgrain boundaries directly impacts the final mechanical properties of the titanium ***β/βgrain boundary variant selection of titanium alloys has been assumed to be unlikely owing to the high cooling rates in laser powder bed fusion(L-PBf).However,we hypothesize that powder characteristics such as morphology(non-spherical)and particle size(50–120μm)could affect the initial variant selection in L-PBf processed Ti-6Al-4V alloy by locally altering the cooling *** the high cooling rate found in L-PBf,results showed the presence ofβ/βgrain boundaryαlath growth inside two adjacent priorβ*** backscatter diffraction micrographs confirmed the presence ofβ/βgrain boundary variant selection,and synchrotron X-ray high-speed imaging observation revealed the role of the“shadowing effect”on the locally decreased cooling rate because of keyhole depth reduction and the consequentβ/βgrain boundaryαlath *** self-accommodation mechanism was the main variant selection driving force,and the most abundantα/αboundary variant was type 4(63.26°//[10553¯]).The dominance of Category IIαlath clusters associated with the type 4α/αboundary variant was validated using the phenomenological theory of martensite transformations and analytical calculations,from which the stress needed for theβ→αtransformation was calculated.

由溶胶-凝胶法制得的Ni-La化合物经热分解制备了纳米尺度NiLa2O4尖晶石,在750o C焙烧后形成了结晶良好的尖晶石结构.采用差热分析、X射线衍射、透射电镜、扫描电镜和粒度分布分析等手段表征了该尖晶石的物理化学性质.结果表明,该纳米颗粒有规则的外形和确定的晶面,由平均粒径为40 nm的规整半球晶粒组成.精修的晶胞参数a=3.861205和c=12.6793.在NaBH4选择还原亚胺制相应仲胺的反应中,该新型纳米NiLa2O4尖晶石可用作高效多相催化剂,得到了较高的产物产率.所有反应可在室温和相对较短的时间内完成.在优化的反应条件下,均可得到带有不同芳基的,包括带有吸电子和供电子基团的仲胺.该催化剂回收简便,重复使用4次,其催化活性未见明显下降.

Efficacy of tadalafil on improvement of men with erectile dysfunction caused by COVID-19:A randomized placebo-controlled trial

Objective: According to the high prevalence of COVID-19 and the subsequent risk of men's sexual health, we decided to investigate the efficacy of tadalafil on improvement of men with erectile dysfunction caused by ***: In this study, 70 outpatients who were recovered from COVID-19 without acute respiratory distress syndrome with negative polymerase chain reaction test and a complaint of erectile dysfunction were divided into two groups: 35 patients who received tadalafil 5 mg daily and 35 who received placebo. for each patient, basic assessment of sexual function was performed using the 5-item version of the International Index of Erectile function (IIEf-5) questionnaire. Then, treatment was started from 2 months after complete recovery of COVID-19 with negative polymerase chain reaction test for 3 months. At the end of the treatments, the patients were re-evaluated for sexual function using the complete version of IIEf questionnaire. finally, the results before and after treatment in the intervention group were compared with those of the control ***: Treatment with both tadalafil and placebo improved the patients' sexual function criteria compared to the baseline. However, this improvement was significantly higher in the intervention group with tadalafil than the control group with placebo (pf tadalafil 5 mg seems to be effective and safe for improvement of erectile dysfunction caused by COVID-19.

Warpage and Shrinkage Optimization of Injection-Molded Plastic Spoon Parts for Biodegradable Polymers Using Taguchi, ANOVA and Artificial Neural Network Methods

In this study, it is attempted to give an insight into the injection processability of three self-prepared polymers from A to Z. This work presents material analysis, injection molding simulation, design of ex- periments alongside considering all interaction effects of controlling parameters carefully for green biodegradable polymeric systems, including polylactic acid （PLA）, polylactic acid-thermoplastic poly- urethane （PLA-TPU） and polylactic acid-thermoplastic starch （PLA-TPS）. The experiments were carried out using injection molding simulation software Autodesk Moldflov~~ in order to minimize warpage and volumetric shrinkage for each of the mentioned systems. The analysis was conducted by changing five significant processing parameters, including coolant temperature, packing time, packing pressure, mold temperature and melt temperature. Taguchi＇s [.27 （35） orthogonal array was selected as an efficient method for design of simulations in order to consider the interaction effects of the parameters and reduce spu- rious simulations. Meanwhile, artificial neural network （ANN） was also used for pattern recognition and optimization through modifying the processing conditions. The Taguchi coupled analysis of variance （ANOVA） and ANN analysis resulted in definition of optimum levels for each factor by two completely different methods. According to the results, melting temperature, coolant temperature and packing time had significant influence on the shrinkage and warpage. The ANN optimal level selection for minimiza- tion of shrinkage and/or warpage is in good agreement with ANOVA optimal level selection results. This investigation indicates that PLA-TPU compound exhibits the highest resistance to warpage and shrink- age defects compared to the other studied compounds.

Laryngopharengeal Reflux in Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease: Does “Silent Laryngopharengeal Reflux” Really Exist?

Background: Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) is a disorder resulting from the reversed flow of gastroduodenal contents into the esophagus, and producing different symptoms, while laryngopharyngeal reflux (LPR) is a disorder resulting from the reversed flow of gastric contents into the hypopharynx. The aim of this work is to evaluate LPR in cases of GERD. Methods: The present study was performed on fifty GERD patients diagnosed by gastroscope. LPR was assessed by reflux symptoms score (RSI) and reflux finding score (RfS). Accordingly, patients are classified into: Group I = 25 patients with manifest LPR, and Group II = 25 control patients without LPR symptoms. Results: GERD accounts for 17.4% of attendants of gastroscope unit, where manifest LPR accounts for 29.1% of GERD cases recording mean RSI and RfS 16.48 and 8.44 respectively. Silent LPR accounts for 8% recording mean RfS 7. Conclusion: There is a significant direct proportional relationship between severity of GERD and the RSI and RfS (p = 0.015 and 0.005 respectively).

Graded index separate confinement heterostructure transistor laser:analysis of various confinement structures

A new configuration of the confinement structure is utilized to improve optoelectronic performance, including threshold current, ac current gain, optical bandwidth, and optical output power of a single quantum well transistor laser. Considering the drift component in addition to the diffusion term in electron current density, a new continuity equation is developed to analyze the proposed structures. Physical parameters, including electron mobility, recombination lifetime, optical confinement factor, electron capture time, and photon lifetime, are calculated for new structures. Based on solving the continuity equation in separate confinement heterostructures, the threshold current reduces 67%, the optical output power increases 37%, and the-3 d B optical bandwidth increases to 21 GHz（compared to 19.5 GHz in the original structure） when the graded index layers of AlξGa1-ξAs（ξ：0.05 → 0 in the left side of quantum well, ξ：0 → 0.02 in the right side of quantum well） are used instead of uniform Ga As in the base region.

Monitoring of Carbon Monoxide (CO) changes in the atmosphere and urban environmental indices extracted from remote sensing images for 932 Iran cities from 2019 to 2021

Carbon Monoxide(CO)is an important urban pollutant with a relation to 5,transition economies based on emission *** this study,Sentinel-MODerate resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer(MODIS),and Landsat-8 images were used to investigate the variations of CO and urban environmental indices and the correlations between *** the assessed correlations for 932 Iranian cities,it occurred that the assessed indices were all *** highest CO levels were 0.031 in the spring of 2019 and 2020,whereas in 2021 it was equal to 0.030 in both the spring and winter,*** 2019 and 2020 the maximum values of the Enhanced Vegetation Index(EVI)in the spring were 0.181 and *** high Absorbing Aerosol Index(AAI)values of–0.834 and–1.0,along with Urban Index(UI)of 0.102 and 0.092,were correlated with recorded spikes in CO level,despite that these seasons’EVI values were not so *** was forecasted that in 2030 rises in the CO level by 13.2%in the winter and by 17.5%in the fall are expected,with the simultaneous increase of AAI by 204.5%and 980.2%,and Aerosol Optical Depth(AOD)by 27%and 5%in the winter and spring,respectively.

Objective:To study virulence and regulatory genes(hlyA,ctxB,tcpI) in clinical strains of Vibrio ckolerae(***),***:Three important genes,tepI,hlyA and ctxB were used for detection of toxigenic and pathogenic *** by chain reaction assay method. Results:According to the results of the PCR,the incidence of hlyA,tcpI,and ctxB genes in clinical isolates was obtained as 94.7%(72 sample),90.8%(69 sample),and 92.1%(70 sample), *** strains possessed all genes except ctxB,six strains possessed all genes except tcpI,four strains possessed all genes except hlyA,one strain possessed only hlyA and 60 strains contained a combination of three *** hlyA,ctxB and tcpI,Conclusions:Result show that this method could be reliable to detect toxigenic-pathogenic strains of *** in Iran.
